Very cute, great spot for a picnic with friends or family! There are lots of turtles and fish in the water that come up to the rocks right Below your feet. There Is also a really nice area for a short or long walk right behind the bridge. The area was quite busy but clean and respectful for the wildlife

Free entrance and a very nice park. There are picnic tables and lots of green grass, but not a lot of shade. Also, even when it is packed (i.e. on holidays) the turtles are great to see.

Nice place for picnic. Tables, playground for kids. Real turtles in the water need the bridge. Clean most of the time, but beware it can be crowded.

Nice place for a picnic stop. The stream has water turtles. There's a small playground and lots of shaded benches for a picnic. The tower in the middle provides a view of the surroundings. Bring your own trash bags.

A good observation point for large soft shell river turtles. With patience you could spot a giant cat fish. The location can be very busy and trashed. Israel national path stop.

Nice park. There’s activities for kids and benches. There’s a little tower that offers a nice lookout over the Alexander river and its surrounding. Nice experience I recommend for families.

A nice park, very popular. There are picnic facilities, and a small playground. There os a kiosk and an icecream truck. The parking lot is very crowded on weekends. There are also public portable (chemical) toilets in the parking lot. You can walk along the Alexander stream to and from this park.

Very peaceful and clean place. A few spots for picnic and has a spot for kids to play. Thr place has a portable toilet in place, not a built one.

Quaint park, lots of benches and grassy areas to picnic. Easy walking and shade along the way. Some amazing animals in the river, dont feed them!

Lovely place, very accessible for all ages and people. Can do anything from a (short) hike to sitting on the grass and looking at the turtles. Tends to be overcrowded in weekend - I suggest arriving early to late than the peak hours

A great place for a walk/ride with the kids. You can walk all the way to the beach or just stay near the bridge and enjoy the view.

With a fair maintenance level, dirty water, and over crowded on weekends and holidays, this place is OK. Having that said, you can easily spot some beautiful soft shell turtles, there's a small tower with a beautiful view, and it's fully accessible for wheelchair (except for the tower). On midweek it's a great place for a picnic and a short walk on the paved path by the river.

Sadly the turtles have become 'mutations' due to local farmers throwing dead chickens into the river. A local guide there told us they are the only such meat eating turtles in the world....and the water is extremely polluted - a human would get very ill if the went inside. Sad. You will see turtles in the water & some ducks walking around, plus loads of small fish in the water that apparently the turtles eat. Kids will enjoy watching. Better to make a day of out it and explore all of Park Nachal Alexander from this area. (Plenty of parking, picnic tables, etc. right here ) There were a few school groups when we were there. Put Hatzabim Bridge in Waze to easily find!

Very nice place for a picknik. There is a large lawn, a playground for children, a lookout tower you can climb and look around and you can look at the turtules in the water of the alexander stream. You can also go along the Alexander stream itself which is a very nice and paved walkway. There are many more children's playground near the stream. There is also a place to buy icecream and coffee. You can also go to the forest very near by and bring your bicycle with you. However be aware that during rainy days there is a lot of mud on the way to the forest and you will have to get into it, so in that case bring high rubber boots. Be also aware that the place is packed with people on Saturdays and holidays so come early to enjoy some silence.

If you have kids, this is probably your safest bet. The park itself offers wide grass area to run. The area around offer walking excursions. But best of all, are the turtles themselves. The place hosts a family of soft shell water turtles. They are usually around, and with the water birds around, offers a nice attraction for kids. If you just look for a nice picnic spot, also a great place. There is a winery on the road, if you want to upscale your game with fine drinks.

Nice place for walk and picnic

The bridge area itself is very pretty but people made it a bit less pleasant as there is a ton of garbage all around, especially in the water next to the turtles. The place also offers a nice one way walk towards the sea (which is blocked now by the ruined structure up the hill). Still, it's a nice peace of nature in the Sharon area. Please make sure to arrive early as it gets packed on the weekends.
