I visited this place with my friends for turkish breakfast and wasn’t expecting much from it because it was our first time for Turkish food. However, we really enjoyed the breakfast, it had lot of small delicious items, ranging from honey u, olives, butter, jam, egg dishes, meat dishes, and you can name on and on. Staff was so nice and explained to us about the items snd how it prepared. We went around 1 pm so it wasn’t busy. This place has a separate room for those who smoke during the meal. Price was reasonable. Overall it was 9/10 experience for us.

Visited this Turkish restaurant for breakfast on our very first day in Istanbul. The menu had a lot to offer but my family and I decided to order the whole breakfast platter, which included a variety of small dishes. While I can't recall the names of the items we tried, I can say that everything was delicious and unique in its own way. What made the experience even more special was that the restaurant is run by a local family, which added to the authenticity of the meal. Despite the language barrier, the family members who served us were incredibly welcoming and polite, making us feel right at home. The ambiance of the restaurant was decent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique breakfast experience in Istanbul.

Went for breakfast, didn't fall in love with the place. The food is ok, can't said that i found something special about it. Small choice in general. Service is fine. Coffe was good. Fresh orange juice was really tasty. Price are inline with the place and the quality.

Visited Van Ahtamara twice during our month-long trip around Turkiye and were pleasantly surprised both times. We’ve tried quite a few breakfast spots and this place certainly knows how to do eggs right. The Menemen and Sucuk Yumurta were spot on. We went à la carte, enjoying the fresh bread with some nice Tahini Molasses and Apricot jam. For those wanting a bit of everything, there’s a full Turkish breakfast option for around 400 TL for two, offering assorted jams, veggies, bread, and a skillet of egg. A good, reliable spot for a solid Turkish breakfast in the area.

It’s a hidden gem. We walked from Taksim square and it was not very visible from outside, but it was very local experience. We took Turkish breakfast for two, it’s superb! The one that I’ve dreamt about :) Sincerely recommend!!

Such a cute place! The vibes are so homelike. The Turkish breakfast has very unique stuff from their hometown and that’s very appreciated if we don’t want to get bored from having Turkish breakfast everyday in Istanbul. The girl taking care of our table is very nice. Very organised and calm yet friendly. They also don’t serve alcohol which is very nice of you want to enjoy an alcohol-free environment. I totally recommend!

I feel that Istanbul holidays aren’t complete without this sumptuous breakfast. Although our hotels breakfast is enough, we decided to venture out to experience the traditional offering. Van Antamara is a great local place, we were treated really great by the boss. Theres no hidden cost, and everything was clearly explained to us. High recommended

The best breakfast place I've ever seen. The service is really friendly and the dishes are all delicious. The first time I went I got the eggs with sausage and the main set breakfast menu for 1, which comes with loads of little dishes so you get great variety. The second time I focused on the egg dishes which are just outstanding. Without doubt check out this place if nearby - you will not be disappointed.

It is a nice place near Taksim Square but the taste was just OK and it was a bit expensive. We ordered one Turkish breakfast and 2 orange juices, and it cost around 600₺. However, the service and atmosphere were good. It has a nice view of the main road.

Absolutely amazing place to visit if you're looking for a nice meal or even just a quick brunch. The place is really comfortable and never too crowded. It doesn't get noisy despite the view and the music here is always coming from an amazing local playlist you can enjoy and relax to. Really well connected to Taksim square and transportation. A must visit if you are nearby.

Visited this place based on reviews and it was underwhelming. We ordered the Turkish breakfast for 4 people but the portions for the eggs and all the good stuff were small and comparable to that of 2 people. We also ordered a cheese sandwich for the kids but that never came. The best thing was the eggs and tomato sauce which had the smallest portion. Food was ok at best.

Another place that i was excited about but the old man working there wasnt welcoming.. he had a grumpy look to his face even though we were very polite with him.. ironically while we were there a turkish lady sat after us and he was soo so welcoming with her even though she was very mean to him and didnt look at him once Anyway, qaymak was bad bad bad i swear to god it is night and day comparing to the one i had in Mado.. Menmen was also not good i thking it had three tomatoes and half an egg because we didnt taste the eggs at all.. tea was great and he lift the whole pot but the pot itself wasnt presentable it looked old and not in a good way.. the way there wasnt convinient we passes by many bars on the way and the side wall reeked with foul urine like smell so it was once and never again Edited to add the price was cheap though i think only 200 plus something and the omelette was fine

😠 This place is extremely overrated, not even worth it, the food is salty like it’s out of the ocean, greasy and the meat quality is very poor, speed of service and restaurant are acceptable but the food and value for money are out of the window. They have either fatty meat or okay meat with liver pie...

😠 Located on Istiklal Street in Istambul, offers a large terrace with a lovely view on the Bosphorus straight (on a distance though). It was windy and heating was off.
