I found this place and I think it was great staying here, great view and nice staff, the rooms are good and you can get food until really late. It’s location is helpful and you can find everything just walking, I went to the blue musk and other touristic places just walking and had lots of fun. The hotel is surrounded by kitties so that’s a plus✨

We feel lucky to have found this hotel in a great location in Sultanahmet, a three minute walk from either the Blue Mosque or the shore of the Bosporus on a quiet side street. The surrounding area is filled with traditional and colorful houses and countless restaurants and boutiques. The room was clean and comfortable with local character. Our host Ziya was very helpful in our arrival and departure and was ready to attend to every need. The local SIM card the hotel provided was a better deal than I was able to find at the shops. It was a perfect place to base ourselves for a first time exploration of Istanbul, a new addition to my top five cities I have ever visited.

Good, but too expensive for an average to decent stay. All people were nice and helpful. But unfortunately the room disappointed me: furnitures like table and chairs were broken; some plugs didn’t work; AC available in only one room, while we were 4. But still breakfast was decent and there was enough space in room with a good bathroom. It was also not far away form the city center. As mentioned staff was also very nice and helpful. Overall not bad but also not really excellent. I would still recommend to stay here when visiting Istanbul.

Very nice hotel in old part of Istanbul. Thanks to Ziya and all the staff, they are very helpful with everything (24h reception). Parking spot in front of the hotel, they can keep one for you. Good breakfast, enough to start the day with energy (coffee and juice included). Easy acces to all attractions in Istanbul (2 min. Blue mosque, 5 min Hagia Sophia mosque, 12 min. Grand bazaar). Ask on the reception about the Bosphorus boat tours and they will give you all the information. Thank you!

I stayed here for 5 nights and breakfast was included. I must say that my stay at this hotel was worth the price, I’d definitely come here back again. - Location: Atam Suites is located very close to the Blue Mosque (6min walk), Aya Sofia(8min walk) and Grand Bazaar (15min walk). You can save fare of taxi/bus/ metro because of the great location of the hotel. You also have many restaurants (200 m) and supermarkets near the hotel. The sea is walking distance (about 8 min). - Customer service: The manager, Ziya, is a very kind man. He explained us about the available tours in Istanbul and gave us the necessary information for our stay in Istanbul. On top of that you can contact him in case of a problem and he will promptly find a solution and help you. - Room quality: I booked a room for 4 people ( Ziya was kind to give us 5 beds for 4 people so that we could have extra space). The room had a TV, a small kitchen with few dishes, microwave, teapot, etc… The bathroom was new and well-sized. The hotel didn’t have any shower gel which was a bit odd, but as mentioned earlier it’s close to supermarkets so you could buy soap from there. (The hotel did provide slipperies). Two plugs weren’t functioning, but once again it didn’t bother me and my family as the room had enough plugs for our devices. - Facilties: Breakfast area was small but was most certainly worth the price. - Value for money: Definitely worth the money. Transfer from airport to hotel costs around 40-45€ (the hotel reserves taxi for you). - Noise level: You can hear the Adan from the blue mosque which was very relaxing. Apart from that the area was quiet and you couldn’t hear people talking in other rooms. - Check in / Check out: My room was in the building in front of the reception. It had no lift so Ziya and the other staff members brought my luggage in my room - Cleanliness: Hotel was clean and tidy and washroom aswell. Towels were clean but some pillow sheets had stains (it didn’t bother me and my family as we had around 8 blankets which was more than enough) - WiFi: WiFi connection was very good and fast (this is the one thing I always have issues with in hotels, but Atam suites had a great net coverage). - Safety and security: Rooms are locked with keys and there are plenty of CCTV camera’s outside the rooms which made me satisfy that the hotel is a safe place. Even the main entrance is locked with security - Tip: Don’t call taxi to go to nearby places such as Blue Mosque or grand bazaar. They charge you more because they have to take many turns before dropping you at the desired location.

Location is great within historial sites. Hotel is small but our room is spacious and clean. Staff reception is welcoming and helpful. But there is no telephone in the room when we need to ask for something we have to go oto the reception ourselves. However, we enjoy our stay.

Our experience with hotel Atam was very positive, we have chosen a room for 3 persons. The room was very clean and well equipped, teapot, refrigerator and everything you need. We also had a possibility to see the part of the Marmara see. Personal is super friendly and helpful, if need transfer from airport or you want to visit some beautiful sightseeings in magnificent Istanbul, they will be happy to help you. Breakfast was in basement, very delicious and diverse. In order to reach main sightseeings of the city you need 5 minutes walk. Our room was very quiet, we didn’t hear our neighbours. I can highly recommend this place to stay.

I recently spent 4 nights in Atam Suites. It is a few minutes walk from the Hippodrome so very convenient for visiting the sights in Old Town Istanbul. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topakai Palace are all walkable distance from Atam Suites. The Sultanahmet Station of the T1 line is about 10 min walk. The staff in the hotels were all friendly and helpful. My room was clean and bed was comfortable. The TV did not work, but I did not really care. The breakfast was good, but not as good as the other hotel I stayed in Istanbul. Housekeeping daily.
