👍👍 American Traveler: definitely do this tour. It is incredibly informative and you will get a different experience. We were able to walk into a mosque with our guide something I would have never done on my own. Couple parts of the ride can be somewhat challenging because of riding with traffic. Cagri... I rented a bicycle here during a recent visit to Istanbul. Even though rentals are not their main business, Cem and his team were always communicative, helpful, and flexible. Their shop was closed for renovations, but we arranged pick-up and drop-off times that worked for me. And the bike I got took me beautifully through the city's crazy traffic and challenging geography, giving me a unique perspective on its unparalleled beauty :) I believe Istanbul On Bike is doing pioneering work and greatly deserves more attention and business!

We did the 2 continent 5 hour tour and had a fantastic time. The upbeat fun knowledgeable guides knew all the ways around town that would be difficult to find on your own. Their multi geared city bikes worked fine for the mostly flat terrain along the shoreline bike paths, over half the ride. Ferries were fun & the bridge had awesome Golden Horn views. Some riding is with traffic so not suited for young children or those not comfortable with biking. This organization is great, will be the highlight of your time in Istanbul.

There are four facts about Istanbul; 1. It is beautiful and you need to visit. 2. The food is delicious and if you eat it without exercising you will get fat on your trip 3. It is unbelievably huge and if you are not prepared you can get loss and miss out on its treasures 4. Bet and Kadir of Istanbul on Bike have you covered so points #2 and #3 are no longer a problem! I was there with my two brothers in April 2023 and did the tour on a Saturday. It will be one of the most memorable Saturdays in my life. Our starting point was from their location in the Balat neighborhood. The area was really cool and had an old charm to it. We eventually made our way to the waterfront and toa ferry to the Asia side- the views were breathtaking! Bet and Kadir showed us really cool areas that very few North American tourists would see. They were funny and knowledgeable and just great to have around. I was keen on remembering what looked like great foodie places to go to after the tour- but there were so many of them! Although we biked throughout the late morning until mid-afternoon- it was so fun that time flew by! I felt great but not exhausted afterward (though I had no guilt eating lots of local cuisines later on with all the biking I did. Picture is me enjoying a drink right after the tour) The tour gives one a good grasp of much of Istanbul and lets you hang with great people like Bet and Kadir. I want to go to Istanbul next year for the specific reason of taking another bike tour with Istanbul on bike. Dan

This is the bike garage of the "Istanbul on Bike" tour services. The tour guides are genuine and always positive. I would recommend the tours they offer to not only to tourists but the natives as well.

Very nice experience with Jim, he is a friendly guy. The prices were outstanding and the bikes are in a good condition. P.S. You must call him to send you the direction of the store because it has changed.

Mehmet was excellent. I ask a lot of oddly specific questions, such as, "How deep is the golden horn?" and he knew the answer to all of them. Can't recommend him enough! Truly an intellectual. Mehmet is clearly passionate about the city's history. Very fluent in English. The tour was exactly what we were looking for. A great guide on the bikes, he did a wonderful job safely navigating us through a city not exactly designed for bikes.

This company was useless. I tried to order the Bike pack and transfer service six days before I needed it. They finally got back to me 1 day before I needed to fly. Easier to get a bike box from a shop or make your own ( there are loads of places in Faith to get large boxes ) and arrange cheaper transfer.

I booked after reading the previous good comments, and I guess I have been pretty unlucky with the guide we got - who was very friendly but was not particularly fluent in english and shared quite little knowledge about the places we visited... The manager heard our complaints and made a gesture to partially compensate the low quality of service, but the selection or training of guides should definitely be improved.

Riding the "three bridges by two continents" tour with my son and the former Turkish national cycle champion as our guide was probably the highlight of my stay in Istanbul. We were driven ~10k out of the city then hit some nice well surfaced roads following the Bosphorus out towards the Black Sea and found a good "cyclist friendly" cafe on our return back. Clocking 30-miles.

We had a great time exploring Istanbul with Istanbul on Bike! The guides were helpful and very knowledgeable. We were worried about the hills and busy streets for our kids, but it was handled very cautiously and confidently by our guides and we always felt safe. I would highly recommend this to anyone I know!

This is my second time using Istanbul on Bike - i had such a great experience on the Old City Tour last year that i had to use them again. Over the weekend I did the Asia Sightseeing Tour. Primarily focused on the Asia side of Istanbul, we saw and learned about an area I probably would never go on my own but was so glad they introduced met to it as it was amazing. Well worth your time. Bet and Kadir were amazing guides. Very knowledgable and entertaining. Additionally, Cem the owner is so responsive with inquiries. I will definitely use these guys again when i return to the wonderful city of Istanbul
