Super friendly local place, hidden away from the busy streets and much more reasonable prices as a result. I highly recommend the manaman (tomato, egg, cheese in a skillet with bread) and breakfast plate (cheese and eggs). Very healthy and enjoyable lunch!

You have to come here! Typical place run by local people. Excellent value for money, the food is great and the owner is a fantastic host! He has looked after us very well, has given us tips and advice for the different activities and we’ve had such a good time with him. We have had breakfast here every morning. Our key spot in Istanbul without a doubt!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Had the chocolate croissant and it was delicious, best I’ve had in Istanbul 👌🏼 went to a different cafe only a few minutes round the corner first and the croissant there was 180 lira, whereas the one I had here was only 50. So great value for money.

The staff here were INCREDIBLY friendly. The first day we walked in, we were discussing between eating here, or finding some cheesecake. The staff here overheard us, and gave us directions to the cheesecake shops! It’s obvious that they want tourists there to have a good time, and know that the tourists staying in the nearby hotels will come by again. Their breakfast pastries are delicious, and don’t have the tourist tax that most surrounding cafes have. They have plenty of seating options too - we could choose between sitting in the shop itself, the outdoor seats, or even the comfy cushions in the hotel dining area opposite. Truly a great breakfast place with great people!

I had a wonderful breakfast here, the first meal since coming to Istanbul. Delicious menemen, lovely Turkish coffee and the pomegranate juice is a must have! Friendly staff who speak great English, and an option to sit outside — 10/10.

A must try traditional restaurant for breakfast (especially menemen). Warm and welcoming hosts, and great prices.

Me and my partner stayed near by and we called into this lovely cafe every morning, the food was delicious, nothing too fancy with a nice variety and very reasonable so it was perfect for us , we tried most things but our favourite was the menemen , the pastries and the freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff there were absolutely brilliant, they were great fun and honesty, they could not have helped us more, especially the boss Ahmed who is an absolute legend, Thank you very much for everything we will be back!

I am an early waker and love the streets in the morning when more quiet. I am so glad I found this place. The food is the best breakfast I've had so far in Istanbul. The service is lovely. I recommend the menemen, freshly squeezed orange juice and of course, Turkish coffee. The prices are very good As well

Besides the food being delicious, very fresh and obviously homemade, I must also give a shout out to the guys that run the place. These guys are very friendly and generous, and also patient with my indecisive order. Love that they open so early! It’s a must go for delicious hearty breakfast.

We came here completely based on the reviews which was really good. While it was a decent breakfast place, we did not find anything to give such high rating of 4.9. Breakfast menu was limited and even early morning few options from the menu were not available. It’s a cozy location and service was quick. Taste of food was ok but not great. Juices were fresh and for 2 people we paid 400 TL.
