😠 It might be the worst beach in the world. The buffet is empty. It takes 1000 witnesses to say that the sea is full of unclean stones and algae. Also, the environment is disturbing. People often mention beach, water, entrance, island, dirty, person, small, clean, lira, area,

DO NOT COME HERE. It’s like swimming from a rubbish dump. We were charged 50TL to get in and another girl we asked was charged 40TL. RIP OFF. We stayed for 30 mins and left and confronted the man about being overcharged and he shrugged his shoulders. We even had someone translating and he still didn’t care. You can swim on some of the best beaches in the world for free and this cost £5. AVOID like the plague. You just might catch it here.

They were in August 2023. The water in the sea is cool and clean. The entrance is gentle, there are sharp stones, it is better to have swimming shoes. The beach is paid, and the payment in cash is more expensive than by card. That's why they paid by card. Not cheap! (150/200 lira per person). There is a place to park bicycles at the entrance. There are also cafes, changing rooms (wooden and not comfortable - no place to hang clothes), toilets (their condition should be better), open cold shower, umbrellas and plastic sunbeds. Unfortunately, the area for swimming is limited by water - I didn't dare to jump on that rope, I didn't know the rules... although I wanted to, because what a swimming in a small space for children.

It’s 100 per person including pickup&dropoff at the peer. But the beach is dreadful and unenjoyable, with super loud and inappropriate music choosing and disgusting toilet. Avoid

(Translated by Google) Ayia Nikola Beach is located on the site of the oldest settlement on the island. It was in these places that the famous treasure of the times of Philip the Great (father of Alexander the Great) was found, dated 359-336 BC. Nearby is the monastery of Aya Nikola and the ancient Greek cemetery. Until the 1980s, the best vegetable gardens on the island were located here. In 1986, the coastline of Ayia Nikola, as well as the area around the ferry pier, was filled in. In the 1990s, tons of garbage were brought here, and municipal workshops were also moved here. In 1997-1998, a helicopter hangar was built here for ambulance helicopters from the island. After the helicopters were abandoned, the area became the warehouse of the municipality. But after 20 years of neglect, the territory of Ayia Nikola came back to life again. The Museum of the Islands was opened (information about this place, by the way, was taken from the stand of this particular museum). Now one of the attractions of Ayia Nikola is its beach club with cafes, sun loungers and umbrellas on the sandy shore. The beach offers a beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara, Sedef Island and the Asian part of Istanbul in the distance. The place is quite windy, the water here is cool even in summer. As for me, this is not the best place for a beach holiday. If you already go to the beach on Buyukada, then it is better to choose Eskibaa beach, free boats to which go from the port. Now, at the beginning of May 2022, the beach season has not yet begun, but on the beach of Ayia Nikola there are already sun loungers with umbrellas. It’s still cold to swim and sunbathe, but it’s quite possible to drink coffee on the club’s terrace (Turkish coffee 15 liras).

There were stony areas in the sea. There are lots of algae and jellyfish. Also it wasn't clean. There were things like grass and branches (I went in the afternoon. I don't know how it is in the morning). Children can easily play in the sand. WC and changing cabin are available. There is a shower area in the middle area. I went on August 29th. The price was 200 TL, 150 TL with card. They did not charge a fee for children (3 years old) but I do not know what the age limit is.

Random woman named Heti asking for a for a entrance fee of 200 lira per person. Once we objected she directed us to the cafe and we ended up paying 150 lira per person. What did we pay for you may ask? We paid for the use of the disgusting squatting toilet. After using the toilet, now where do you wash your hands you may ask? As there was no running water. With our dirty hands we had to run to the sea and use the sea water to wash our hands. Now the question is, are our hands more dirtier than before. After making a fuss and using the entire bottle of hand sanitiser we made a prompt exit. Do not come here as the beach, the people and the facilities are nasty. My 1 star equates to 0 stars!

(Translated by Google) The location of the business is nice, there are no ships or tankers around it, as well as close to the center of the island. But the cabins in the dressing cabins and shower cabins are neglected buffet prices more than the cost of bringing something to the island is connected to the price. No human waste on the beach and sea. But when the waist clearing times pass, the algae pass through the net and get into the water. Be sure to bring towels with towels as well as the towels that are nice in the ambience. (Original) İşletmenin bulunduğu konum güzel etrafında gemiler veye tankerler yok yanı sıra ada merkezinde yakın. Fakat işletmede soyunma kabinleri ve duşa kabinler bakımsız büfe fiyatları fazla bununda adaya bişeyler getirmenin fiyatının fazla olmasına bağlıyorum. Kumsal ve denizde insan atıkları yok. Fakat beli temizleme süreleri geçtiğinde yosunlar fileyi geçip suya karışıyor. Yanı sıra ortam gayet güzel havlu ücretli havlu getirmeyi unutmayın.

We spent a couple of hours this morning at Aya Nikola Beach (Sept 2023). The beach is private, entrance with sun lounger and umbrella 150TL (weekdays, payment by card). The beach is small and pleasant. The swimming area is limited with boots, but you can go out. The sea is clean, there are areas of stones (some covered with algae) and others of sand. There are changing tables and bathrooms. It also has a small bar, where we were able to answer some questions with one of the very friendly men who run it. Quiet and perfect place to spend a while in Büyükada.

(Translated by Google) Were at the beach on Tuesday, August 31st. Paid for 1 person 60 liras on a weekday !! Disgusting place, don't come here. The beach itself is very small, there is a micro-sandy part and a micro-pebble part. The rest is concrete slabs on which sun loungers stand. Everything looks dead: sunbeds, showers, cafes, the general dirty locker room. Part of the sea is fenced off by a net that collects algae, but you can swim behind it. In general, the sea is clean, but restless, strong waves. The beach itself is, let's say, under a rock, and the sandy part is all in the shade.

Was asked 300 liras for the entry ticket. Totally not worth it.
