DO NOT STAY HERE- BEDBUGS Worst experience we have had at a hotel since being in Thailand almost 2 months. The bed was infested with bed bugs which we only realised at about 10pm once they started crawling everywhere. We told reception and there was no apology but they laughed and said they might not have another room. They sent us with housekeeping to have the room checked and the man could clearly see all the bugs running around so we were moved to a room with air con as this is all they had left. The next day I went to reception to ask if the hotel will now be covering the cost of washing all our belongings as we do not want to carry them around if they may have bed bugs and risk another hotel getting them. To this the girl laughed and said no they won’t be and when I asked for a partial refund to help cover costs she laughed again. After asking for a manager she slammed down a document on the desk and eventually came back and said they will be covering the washing cost but we now need to move room to a room with no aircon as this is what we paid for. So now we need to waste our day sorting through all our belongings, packing our stuff and moving to another room (our 3rd one in 2 days). We appreciate hotels get bed bugs but it was the way in which staff spoke to us that we are unhappy. The total lack of care and empathy for the situation they put us in is ridiculous. Would never ever recommend this place. Additionally the hotel is right next to the airport and planes extremely loudly take off and land until after midnight so you won’t get any sleep.

Positives: Its next to the beach so the view is pretty. Its near the airport. Shower water pressure is good. Negatives: The room was not clean, there was a blood stain on the blanket, the blanket was ripped. Dead spiders and lots of dust behind the TV... The pillow had a stain as well and the air-con was super moldy inside. They charge you extra for the water bottles which they left in the room. There is no free airport transfer, they try to charge you 300 baht for a 8 minute ride. We luckily only booked for one night, I would never come back here again.

Stayed 2 nights. Decided to go with the economy rooms across the road. This section has its own pool and restaurant. Facilities are good. Room is comfortable and clean. Planes going over all day but they stop around 9pm. Power cut occurred on our first night for 2 hours due to rain. Not great if someone uses a CPAP like in our party.

I have used this hotel a few times and it always worked out okay. Today, everything changed. I have my medical service dog with me, and I am protected by the Thai Disability Act, to have my service dog with me. I even called the hotel ahead of time and told them, they confirmed. When I arrived at the airport for pickup, the driver never smiled and just handed me a phone. A woman kept saying "no dogs". I could not believe that she was uneducated on Disability Laws at a hotel. Mermaid left me stranded at the airport with nothing. The actions lacked such humility and the staff acted with complete disregard of our safety. I had no phone, & no way of finding another hotel last minute. It was honestly scary to be treated like this so far away from any support system. I was put in harms way after trusting this business. I would never trust them myself or the safety of my family after today. To note, the manager ended up hanging up on us and would not communicate... I'm just devastated at how I was treated by Mermaid Samui. Not a good place to bring loved ones.

I like the hotel, it's just super loud and right on the road and in the airplane entry path which makes working and sleeping here to an unpleasant experience... The new rooms on the left side/part of the hotel are better isolated and well equiped, all the other rooms and especially the standard rooms at the back are pretty badly isolated. So your room wisely, when you're booking here!!

FOUL! website is super misleading. they actually have TWO resorts. one beachfront as you’ll see in all their images and the other across the road!! which you won’t see any photos of. Our room was across the road, no aircon like mentioned and just really dingy. when we got into bed it was hard not to notice the amount of black pubes and piss stains on the bed. we thought now was the time to complain. we walked all the way across the road to reception where a staff member gracefully informed us THEY DON’T WASH THEIR SHEETS! (also planes constantly flying over us and restaurant is never open despite saying 24hours) i wouldn’t waste my time❤️

If you go in this hotel I do not recommend the bungalows, especially without air conditioning it’s suffocating if you only have the fan, and it makes noises. Outside much more beautiful than the inside, the bed takes the most space, as you take a shower you put water everywhere because the shower is not separated from the rest. Very noisy with airport and animals because the bungalow is open at the top of the walls, closed by mosquito nets but the slightest noise enters the room because of it. Staff was nice though, they took us to the room with a golf car and same at the end of our journey. Oh and the WiFi, not really good.

Love the view and ambiance of the resort. I loved the thing that we have access to every pool it's not about whether you don't have a pool resort booking so you cannot go to the other pool side. They have 3 pools and you can swim any of them. Plus the beach view is so amazing that you can spend your whole day just sitting and relaxing. Everything is available near buy. 7/11, markets, food spa. Best place to book your holidays

If you like safety and security , I would not stay here. There was a crazy French man who was smashing hotel windows for hours, no security or police came and then after the man was allowed to return and sleep in his room. I have a video of it but I can not attach it on here. When spoken to reception about the problem they were rude and not even an apology. The worst hotel I have stayed in

I’m not normally a fussy traveller but booked for 4 nights and left without even staying the first night. A man on a motorcycle was waiting outside my door for around 20 mins making me feel so uncomfortable as a solo female traveller. On top of this the room was full of mosquitos and several lizards (including one fairly big one). When I checked out at midnight on my first night, the guy on reception did not seem remotely bothered why I was checking out - most hotels would want to rectify any issues. The planes going past are also very loud but this isn’t their fault.

Booked last minute on Agoda, arrived to the hotel to find the room had only a fan with no air conditioning - there was no mention of this at all on the website. They tried to make me pay an additional almost 2x to what I had already paid on Agoda to “upgrade” to a room with A/C and refused to refund what I had paid which is shady.

The resort is very close to the airport, the planes flying through the roof of the bungalows, it's awful! The mattress is so uncomfortable, the cleanness is very poor 😫

In the direct flight path of the airport, very noisy. Beach is very narrow and hard to navigate at times regardless of the tide. They charged us half a nights stay for bottled water water instead of warning us in advance. Any other locations we've been, there is a sign. This is unfortunate as we visit Thailand frequently and for the value may have returned here. Great pool areas.

Service is not so wow according to price, if you have a flight from Koh Samui airport then it's good for one night but the beach view from the hotel is good.

An incredible and lovely cosy beach house by the sea. The beach house offers a beautiful view directly overlooking the sea, and with just a few steps from the outside door, you can reach the sea directly. The beach is clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful. The surroundings are peaceful, and all possible amenities are within a short walking distance. If you're looking for tranquil seaside accommodation in Samui, I strongly recommend this place!

The beach access is great and we loved the large pool area. We stayed in the standard double with fan in the complex/wing across the street. We had a nice terrace for relaxing and the bungalows are all freestanding, so reduced neighbour noise. The planes fly very close which is a novelty, they don't start until 7am which is reasonable.

Absolutely amazing due to the low price they wanted, rooms weel equiped with everything bedded, all of the outdoor facilities also well decorated, a pool with view to the sea and plenty of towels.

Airplanes are flying from morning till evening right above the hotel. Nice but don't take a room without Air Condition, you will regret it.

We enjoyed our stay and the resort is nice overall. On booking they don't mention that there is a very busy road you need to run across if you want to get to the seaside view pool.

Rooms not as decribed old used soap left in the shower from previous people, soap marks on the wall and dirty sheets. The hotel states soundproof rooms but I assume that is only for a couple of the extremely expensive rooms, wouldn't be a massive problem if it wasn't in the flight path for samui airport. Other than that I have given it 2 stars just because the majority of the staff were nice and its location on the beach.

Room simple and very nice, although bit smelly - drain was stinking a bit. Location bit noisy given the airport nearby, howevver not too disturbing. Overall impresion good, lovely view over the pool, beach directly from a room. Staff pleasant ;) location great - close to the airport… for those who dont mind walking its 20mins walk. Taxi 400Baht, negotisted to 300 😅

😐 The hotel is beautiful. We were there for 8 nights, but ended up moving hotels after 5 nights due to the number of screaming kids in the pool. It would be good if there was a dedicated pool for adults only. I felt like I was in a public pool at home. Also, limited to no hot water in the shower and n...

🫤 Nice, stylish beach club. Lots of beautiful people chill here. The service is very friendly and keen to help. I had the Espresso Martini which was delicious.
