My boyfriend and I spent three nights in a beautiful bungalow of the Ocean View Resort on Koh Phangan. The bungalow is build on a white sanded beach, only few steps away from the ocean. The surrounding is very natural (even wild monkeys are climbing above the bungalow on palms and trees), so we were able to listen to the sound of the sea and enjoy a stunning view. The beach is very clean and far from the tourism center. Our hosts Bovy & her cousin as well as the whole staff were amazing! They helped us a lot, for example by renting a motorbike or calling a taxi when we left the Resort. Also they gave us useful tips for our further journey and many recommendations. The food in the restaurant was awesome. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch there. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the Ocean View Resort. If we will come back to Koh Phangan we will definitely stay there again! :)

Best place we have ever stayed in many Thailand-Trips. Very beautiful beach, very nice Bungalow and a owner and staff who is really caring. We have stayed for ten days and haven’t regret one minute.

This place is a paradise!!!!! Far away from the craziness, yet easily accessible by a scooter both day and night. We were staying in the hut which was very clean and light and simply beautiful. Our bathroom was amazing, full of interesting cosmetics such as coconut oil or aftersun lotion. The view is gorgeous. Bovy, the owner, was amazing to us!! When I called to reserve a room she was about to close the resort for a couple of days due to low season, but agreed to keep it open just for me and my boyfriend! On top of that she gave us a breakfast voucher to use in a nearby cafe. It was so kind and considerate of her! A very nice touch. I highly recommend this resort. It's the best place to stay in Ko Phangan.

We stayed for 5 nights in Ocean Beach Resort last march. The place feels like paradise. There are only few people, monkeys live in the forest around the Bungalows and there is a small coral reef a short swim from the beach. The manager Bovy is very caring and the food is fantastic. We especially loved the papaya salad and you have to try the Thai burger. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed in the evening. The other restaurants at the beach aren’t good. If you don’t rent a motorcycle and you can’t go somewhere else dinner becomes a problem after two days.

Amazing Place. Best beach in Phangan and so nice Bungalows. The Host Bovy is so charming and friendly. Her Food (breakfast) was amazing, too. Too bad she doesnt offer Lunch or Dinner . For me definately one of my happy places on earth.

We were there with my girlfriend a few days ago, the view was nice and the waitress was really nice in the beggining. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so she choose a food without any meal what the waitress recommended to her. When she got her food she started to eat it but there was chicken in that. We think it was a really big mistake!

Perfect place, my favorite stay in whole Thailand. The owner is super nice, the bungalows are really nice, the beach isn't crowded. The opposite experience of Full Moon Party.

Delicious breakfast - and what a view :) highly recommended!

All bungalows are suited into nature, are not in one line and all look different. This brings a really nice atmosphere. Just so beautiful here! I cannot imagine there is a nicer location around on Koh Phangan. The bungalows themselves are furnished very tastfull. And the views from the veranda are unique from the wood to this wonderful beach. Also the food and drinks in the restaurant are very tasty. You taste that it is not the standard food you get at the standard restaurants, but it's cooked with natural ingredients and love. That's why we came here again with our children after years and would always do it whenever we are in Thailand. Also worth mentioning, we made a reservation in advance and we were asked to pay some amount via Wise. We first were sceptical, but with no reason at the end!

We excitedly stumbled across this place many years ago and have been lucky enough to keep returning. It’s ideal for us as far as beachfront bungalow escapes go - mellow beach, great food, cool accommodations, incredible staff, beautiful surrounds. Bovy and team are always so warm and welcoming, whilst leaving you very much in your own joyous bubble of relaxation. One of our favourite places in the world
