Really enjoyed our stay here! The beachfront was lovely with soft white sand, warm water and quiet without distracting jet skis and loud bars. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The food and service was great too. And there’s two pools! Would definitely stay here again :)

✔️ Great location ✔️ Friendly staff ✔️ Clean and beautiful rooms Definitely worth a stay! Anybody who's looking for a quiet and relaxing resort should consider coming to the Pavilion. We enjoyed our stay so much that we came here twice within one month for a short weekend holiday. Staff is super friendly and helpful, the restaurant offers great food (Thai & Italian) at a fair price and the resort is just beautiful overall. You will have super quick access to the beach from any room and the hotel offers 3 pools to cool down (1 at your room, 1 infinity pool with beach view and another standard swimming pool). You won't regret your holiday here!

Being the first time visiting Koh Samui, my husband and I was unsure about which hotel to pick for our trip. Many hotels have great photos and reviews online, but may not live up to expectations when you actually go there. We only planned to stay 3 nights in Pavilion, but because of the exceptionally great service, location, and everything overall, we ended up extending our stay with 9 more nights! The resort has a great vibe and look, overall well maintained and with beautiful artwork, plants and sculptures. The architecture is great too. It's really cozy to walk along the different sections of the resort when going from the reception to the beach. The resort is quiet and the atmosphere relaxing, making it perfect for a rejuvenating vacation. The service is really great and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you are having a great time! Everyone is really kind and attentive to detail. There is also a security guard on the beach, who will assist you if you need anything! The beach area is the best in Lamai beach. Honestly when walking up and down the beach and seeing all the other resorts, one could tell that Pavilion has the best beach area! First of all, they take really good care of the cleanliness. There is no rubbish or filth lying around. It also felt safe to walk, there was no broken glass lying around. Secondly, they really ensure you are in most comfort while at the beach, be it helping you adjust the beach chair or serving delicious drinks. There is a policy about not accepting beach vendors, and the staff will assist you if there are any issues with the vendors. I really like how the Pavilion is trying to create a private and safe beach area where you can relax this way. Btw just say "Mai ao krab/kha" and the vendors will leave you alone. Don't accept them, their prices are insane compared to the shops just next to the Pavilion resort. If you want to go to the best resort in this price range in Lamai Beach or Koh Samui, go to Pavilion. Out of traveling to various other places in Thailand, this has been the best experience for us and as mentioned we decided to extend our stay just because we loved it here so much! ❤️ We feel so taken care of, relaxed and happy, and will definitely come back here if we go to Koh Samui again in the future. I could write a book about all the good things about this place!!!

Fantastic ! Nice room , clean , staffs friendly , private and all facilities are great. Very valuable price ! The best hotel in Lamai so far. There is a private pool in your room and private beach at the hotel area. 2 swimming pools are luxury. Recommend for staying here with your loved one ! And I am coming back again for sure :)

Can't complain about a great beach, amazing rooms, polite and kind staff, nice location near restaurants and also quiet unless you score a room on the second floor in the A building in which case you will hear live music from the night market every day until midnight. Bring ear plugs or book a room further away. They have the nicest beach on Lamai, and the best staff.

Nice resort with direct beach access, generously sized rooms and complete with pools, restaurant and bar. A positive experience overall, this hotel highlight is surely its direct access to lamai beach, with private sunbeds and a great bar (their cocktails are a must-try, really tasty and balanced) Breakfast was also excellent with a wide choice of products and freshly prepared dishes (omelettes, french toasts, pancakes…) 4 out of 5 stars rating is due to its maintenance: Staff is great and always available, but this structure is clearly needing a general “clean up”. Rooms, pools and facilities are all under maintained and should be taken care of with more attention.

Calm hotel by the beach. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Location in lamai was great, very close to many restaurants where you find a little bit of everything. Breakfast buffet had everything you need to start your day and loved the fresh fruit, the waitresses and the guy making eggs were warm, lovely and friendly. The rooms were very clean, we didn't find a grain of sand on the floor. 5 stars cleaning! The beach was clean everyday. I heartily recommend this hotel in Samui, we'd definitely stay here again ❤️

Great 4d3n stay at Pavilion Samui. We booked the Hydro Pool Villa for our stay. Our first impression, the room was perfect. However we ran into a few issues the first night, our front door lock was not working (got ourselves locked out twice), the pool jacuzzi function and outdoor lights were also not working. But Pavilion Samui, showing their best Thai hospitality, apologized and gave us a free upgrade to the Grand Pool Villa for the remaining 2 nights without us even making a fuss on the issues. The Grand Pool Villa was perfect. Staff was also great. Gardens are well maintained. Unfortunately, the infinity pool by the beach was not accessible (although it looked all ok?).

Staff is friendly and resort is great. It has starting to get a little old, but upkeep is being done where it matters. The team that runs the place is small and they take a keen interest in getting to know the patrons. Breakfast is great and the food at the restaurant is very reasonably priced. The only thing that really disappointed me is that the beach was very polluted. The rain and the rivier that came down right behind the resort probably contributed to it, but a beach full of plastic bottles and other garbage is not acceptable. Resorts get the benefit of having access to private beaches for their patrons. To help curb pollution, the hotels and resorts should help to clean up the beaches.

Great Beach! Great Pool! The people are so nice in this hotel. The sea is specially protected against Jellyfish. Highly recommended! Nice area to walk outside the hotel full of restaurants and bar. Seems to me like the best hotel in Koh Samui! The pool and sea are both not cold, they are both like warm. מלון מעולה בקו סמוי, חוף מקסים, בריכות מעולות.

Too expensive for the quality of the rooms and the level of cleanliness and details, a 4 star hotel on a good day. The location is good, nice garden setting, lovely flowers, but the best part of the beach in Lamai is further south towards the middle part. The breakfast was very good and was the highlight of my stay with a nice selection of dishes of high quality. The staff were mostly polite and friendly, however a few didn’t crack a smile once which is strange in Thailand, and especially at an ‘upscale’ resort.

Super attentive staff and clean rooms. Beach Access. Restaurant and bar. Haris the bartender is the best!!! It was a slow night so we got to talk to him for a few hours and he was a gem! Free snacks at the bar as well (bar nuts and fish chips) that were delicious!

Great hotel location...right on the beach... Staff friendly and helpful. We would have liked 1 or 2 more towels for the beach for example.

Really lovely hotel on the best beach in Samui, the rooms are great and the bar and restaurant are perfect too. We spent our honeymoon here and it has been a great choice.

Overall Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort was "OK". It didn't quite look as impressive as the photos as it could do with some repairs and upkeep. Unfortunatly the bed was extremely hard but the rooms were nice enough and clean. Staff were helpful when needed. The spa felt a little like getting a massage in a toilet block and staff didn't show up to our first booking. The older pool could do with a clean but the infinity pool is nice. The beach looked like it would normally be nice but we had terrible weather while we were there so didn't get to enjoy it. Food is OK, but coffee is terrible... auto machine and had a waitress pour curdled milk into mine. Good location, lots to take in right outside the front door. It's a quiet resort, don't feel like there are people everywhere. Nice place for a budget no frills stay in KohSamui.

Absolutely incredible, sprung for the private pool room and am super glad I did! I thoyght it may be too much as a solo traveler, but I don't treat myself like this often, so its nice to be a bit boujie. The staff are very kind and attentive and speak English, which is great since my Thai is... nearly nonexistent lol. Bathroom is fully stocked with 2 each of robes, slippers, & flip flops; plenty of towels for bathroom and the beach, a pretty nice hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash! AC works perfectly. Room has a mini fridge with some water, coffee, tea, an electric kettle, and a DVD player but they do get a few channels on the TV in English. Property and room are fairly up to date, nothing seems very dated, seems like they take care of things here.

We booked a balcony suite for two nights and the room itself was beautiful! Awesome bathtube on the balcony and big bed, nice shower and separat toilet. Also the location is perfect, with direct beach access. Two beautiful pools and great breakfast with all kinds of food (Thai, Continental, chinese...). During our stay we did not have cleaning/ room service and no refill of water, which is a minus. Also the toilet flush did not work properly, so only 4 Stars

I stayed at the Pavilion Pool Residence in June 2022 and it was one of the best holidays my family has enjoyed. First the Villa was spectacular; three bedrooms with en suite facilities were well appointed and meticulously clean. Large living areas with dining and kitchenette were well thought out for families. The Villa comes with a private pool which is quite large so large families can enjoy comfortably. Best of all the Villa opens up directly on the beach… oh the convenience of direct beach access. The staff were delightful. Always looking out to improve our holiday and a special mention to the cleaning ladies who were always smiling and super efficient. The Villa is also well located; restaurants and shopping areas are a stones throw away… we ate at different eateries almost every meal for six days. The hotel can also provide reasonably priced transport so we toured the night markets, central, zoo, elephant sanctuary and other sights which delighted the kids. All in all a tropical paradise with modern amenities and access to local markets when required. Highly recommended for families.

We came by chance to have lunch at the restaurant inside a hotel. It is surprisingly good! Not only the food tasted rather delicious but we enjoy the view and services here too. Especially during the Covid time when everywhere nearby closed but the restaurant here remains open.

We have visited various hotels on the Samui Island to see what 4&5 star ratings look like in person before booking our next location. We toured the whole ring road and few of the side roads where some of the hotels were located. Pavilion did not meet the short list of the possible locations. It was clean and neat in appearance but the villas and also the suites were jammed together and it felt very crowded.... The pool was inviting and so was the beach but it was missing the cozy, comfort and boutique feeling. The front desk staff were great and helpful. Our rating only on the setting, visual and the grounds appearance would be 3.8 when comparing to the rest of the hotels we visited on the island

Pavilion Samui was such a wonderful experience for me and my husband! It was our first time to Koh Samui, and we loved the location on Lamai beach. 1- The staff is beyond amazing- especially the restaurant staff. They were so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They helped with all our questions and dietary needs. 2- The location is wonderful. A lot of Samui is currently closed down due to lack of tourism, but you have excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars open right around the resort. 3- The resort was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Our private pool villa was absolutely worth the splurge, but we still loved hanging by both main pools. 4- The food was excellent. They have a large variety of cuisine, and have vegan and vegetarian options. We got to enjoy a beautiful private pool breakfast, and a dinner on the beach. It was such a delight. We felt so spoiled this week! We will definitely go back to Pavilion :)
