Bit
of
a
disconnect
between
expectations
and
reality
with
this
one.
It's
much
more
a
backpacker
hostel/B&B,
that
just
happens
to
have
a
small
pool,
than
a
hotel.
15+
mosquitoes
in
the
room
arrival
on
arrival,
damp
smell.
The
"gym"
just
isn't
a
usable
facility
and
only
seems
to
be
there
so
as
to
tick
the
boxes
of
a
3-star
hotel.
Our
"superior"
room
was
right
across
from
the
kitchen-office
area,
gloomy
and
with
people
always
hovering
about
outside,
so
we
wanted
to
keep
the
curtains
closed
anyway.
The
French
owners
were
just
all
right,
begrudgingly
polite
(maybe
French
speakers
have
a
better
experience?).
The
main
issue
is
that
there's
no
proper
kitchen/bar
staff
on
hand
-
so
if
you
just
want
a
beer
it's
like
you
have
to
bother
them
to
come
unpadlock
the
fridge
for
you.
That's
an
issue
when
you're
out
in
the
sticks
without
other
places
around.
Renting
a
car
or
motorbike
is
a
must.
