Great thai food with a fine dining twist, prices are on the steep side though. Had a Tom Yum martini, shared a seared tuna and then barracuda and white snapper as mains. Finished with white chocolate cheese cake we had a pay an extra 50baht to change the vanilla ice cream to cookie dough.

Nice place. Had pan fried king fish (fresh daily offer). No sides, 3 different sauces. Must say this is one of the best fish I have had in Thailand. Just perfect. Atmosphere, incl music is perfect. Will visit again.

My husband and I had a meal here the other night as an early anniversary celebration. At first, we weren't sure if it was open. There's a sign outside saying they do Fish sets to cook at home. The waiter told us they are a fishing family and fillet fresh fish for restaurants, hotels and locals to buy. So they are able to keep the restaurant open even with only a few or no customers. We had such a delicious meal and the most amazing cocktails. The grilled squid was so tasty and cooked perfectly, as we the barracuda and the Shrimp mieng kham starter. Nice setting and attentive waiter. Highly recommend for a delicious, seafood meal.

Came here wanting some great Thai seafood and got what I wanted. The place is lovely, great service and great quality food. So good. The clams in the creamy garlic sauce were absolutely amazing. Coming back again. LFG!

A must visit on Koh Phangan! Food is very fresh. We had the Thai mussels and tuna steak. It was amazing! Dessert was to die for, the best white chocolate cheesecake. Cocktails are also nice.

Not usually my go to on a budget but my family are visiting and was an absolutely lovely treat. We had reserved a table and pre warned that it was booked out after us (which is absolutely fine as long as we know) prior. Menu is slightly different to online, but much better. One of our party isn’t keen on new foods so to find they did regular fish and chips was fab for him. All our food was absolutely fantastic, fresh, great portions - highly recommend the barracuda! The setting is beautiful and even more so at night. Regular tables and nice lighting and candles then a huge outside area with casual lazy seating, had I been with friends and not family I would have taken advantage of that area! We were expecting the prices to be much higher than they were, but were shocked that they were no where near as high as people made out in reviews. A lovely treat all the same. Highly recommend!

Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar boasts a delightful ambience and an inviting vibe, complemented by delicious cocktails that are a must-try. While the food is average, and very expansive for what we got, the experience is uplifted by the scenic setting. I wouldn’t return, but for a seafood meal it could be worth a visit.

Regrettably, I discovered this gem quite late during my stay; on our first attempt, we missed out as it was closing. This restaurant is a culinary delight with an exceptional menu. Their bar offerings are particularly impressive, showcasing a creative flair in cocktail crafting while also offering classic choices, including various ciders. What stood out was the staff's efficiency - notably swift by local standards. But above all, their attentiveness and responsiveness were remarkable. Despite its popularity, we managed to dine without a reservation on our first visit. However, I'd advise securing a table in advance, especially since they're quite prompt in responding on WhatsApp, where they are exceedingly friendly. The cuisine is absolutely stunning! It's hard to pick favorites, but the tuna, crab, and squid were simply exquisite. The overall ambiance and convenient location add to its charm, making it a must-visit spot on the island.

This place is magical! Amazing food, great environment and friendly staff. The manager/host is so helpful and polite. Food is great, all sea food was amazing. We went there twice, as we had to leave the island, otherwise we would go more. I loved all the deserts I had : Mango sticky rice, chocolate brownie, ice cream, sorbet. Seafood platter is my favourite dish from there. Go there won’t regret it!

Great quality seafood dishes, and friendly staff made sure we had everything we wanted. Very nice chilled vibes right by the beach where you can also catch a gorgeous sunset.

This is a good place to come to for a chilled lunch. I had the barracuda softly battered with vegetables! The seating is lovely as well!

Excellent seafood fare - definitely recommend the mussels, the stirfried barracuda, the stuffed squid and the dessert. Service was great and drinks were deliciously creative. The only issue was the bugs and an occasional cat that wandered through our table but other than that, the whole experience was great

White snapper with curry is truly amazing ! So crispy, juicy, full of fragrance of curry and different herbs. Love the peppers and sweet potatoes inside. Music is great taste. The staffs are very helpful and friendly, cute. Many thanks!🙌💛🦋✨🌿

What a lovely experience. I went to celebrate my birthday and I had requested a boat reservation. On arrival I had flowers and a "Happy Birthday" placard waiting for me - lovely touch. The food was amazing. Biggest Oysters I've ever head and the cheesecake is to die for. The staff were amazing, super attentive and very friendly.. Best cocktails I've had in a long time ..try the Tom yam Highly recommend

Only had some cocktails, which were great! It's definitely more expensive than the usual Thai bar or restaurant. The blue crabs were outside the restaurant at display, and I saw ppl just grabbing them to take pics, which I didn't like as that must clearly be cruel for the animals.

Best meal I had on Koh Phangan. Fresh seafood and great service. The seafood curry and massaman chicken curry was phenomenal.

If you like fish, you will get the best here. We ordered fish plate, it was extremely tasty. Echt lekker. We got a big crab in a small fish platter. Definetly come here. People are also super friendly. Price is definetly not expensive especially thinking about what you get. Super delicious!

Some of the best seafood I’ve had the pleasure of eating in my 4 years of living in Thailand! My partner and I enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night. First of all, the ambiance is on point; the dim candle lighting, excellent music, the fisherman aesthetic-chic furnishings. It felt magical. There is a fully stocked bar. I ordered the homemade ginger-ale which was light and refreshing. As appetizers we had the tuna tartare (impeccable) and shrimp ceviche (Thai flavours). As main courses we had the small seafood platter (phenomenal- a must try), the barracuda steak, and the fish and chips. Everything was amazing, including the various dipping sauces. There is a desert selection , but unfortunately we had no more room. My only regret is not coming a third time before leaving the island.

Great place to have dinner. Best fresh Seafood on Koh Phangan at reasonable price. Best cocktails as well at super reasonable price. Gréât service . Ask the recommendations of dishes to the manager. The food is not too spicy when you ask for a lower spice. The restaurant is beautiful . I recommend the place and will definitely return.

Superb restaurant offering fresh seafood and tasty cocktails. Imbibe while you gaze through the trees at the sparkling water. Go for sunset and absorb the brilliant colors of the sea and sky, and while the staff sets the lights for the perfect mood and tone, they are also kind enough to provide insect repellent.

Very nice Thai food with a twist . Great cocktails and you should try the dessert! The Staff is professional and kind ! Is a bit expensive than the simple Thai restaurants but is a must visit! Is good you make a reservation for the evening!

Enjoyed our Valentine's Day Meal here. Would definitely go again. Would recommend the sharing platter to start that has fish cakes and shrimp. Was really good for us. After the meal we then went to the beach bar and enjoyed the fire show with some good cocktails.

What can I say? The first plate of tuna tartare was infested with so many hairs, I took one out, then by the third one I sent it back to the kitchen. The tuna was fresh then though. They then made me a new one. The new one is so mushy (see the photos) I'd genuinely be surprised if it hadnt been sitting in the fridge for more than 24 hrs. I left it half untouched, no one blinked an eye (?). Not mention of compensation, no questions asked. I come from Australia, fresh sashimi tuna is a daily food staple. There's also no denying it because the first plate's tuna was definitely fresher. The curry crab was indeed, live, and was ok. However, by this point I was getting bitten by so many mosquitoes, mostly due to the musty decor that hasnt been changed in as long as the owner had opened the restaurant (apparently decades). There were also zero fans unlike any restaurants of similar locations. I can usually tolerate a few mosquitoes but this was atrocious- imagine if you were in the hull of a pirate ship, this was literally what it looked and felt like. Probably not the most hygienic of all places to open a restaurant. And that's altogether why the low rating - hygiene. Fix it, this is the stuff that kills restaurants faster than covid.

Fisherman's restaurant is truly one of my all time favourites! It never fails to impress me with its ambience, cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. I have seen this establishment evolve over the years and always stay up to date with its design concept and menu items. Lek the chef deserves tremendous kudos for the fusion recipes and flavours he puts together. I love the white snapper dishes and chunky fries! No dinner is complete without Amanda's decadent white chocolate cheesecake, not to mention the broad range of wines available. I am looking forward to my next visit!
