Its a beautiful beach with awesome waters. Very calm, sits in a little bay, quiet. Its a bit far from a lot of stuff, but if you are looking for a quiet getaway to relax, its picture perfect. Its got some cheap bungalows and small hotel places to stay, a few restauraunts, etc... I liked it. Went there for a half a day to swim and have lunch, check it out. Quiet due to situation now, not much open, but nice

We stayed 4 days at the salad beach. Great place to stay if you want a quiet and beautiful beach. There are few restaurants across the beach with fish bbq and 3 massage places. Several hotels to select as well. There is one ATM located at the salad buri resort. You can have happy hour drinks at the cookies salad hotel (100 baht a drink). They have a nice deck for you to see the sunset. You can also find taxi boat in the beach in case you can to go to Koh Ma/mae haad. Not so exciting for snorkling.

Difficult to get to the beach as no direct routes. All lead to resorts whereas you need to follow your nose to find the Salad.

Really enjoyed this beach. Relaxed atmosphere with a couple of bars. The water is clear and it is deep enough to swim and there is enough sea life to snorkel. The trees behind the beach make it more beautiful and because it is in a cove the sea is calmer than other areas on the same side of the island. Would definitely recommend.

5-10 meters of a sand, huge amount of boats in water, but nice view and many facilities at the shore

Clean and quiet beach. Perfect if you are not into parties. Very good choice for couples and families with little kids

Lovely beach, one of our all time favourites and we regularly go to Spain, Portugal and Bali. Chilled out vibes, beautiful water, clean, there's not much to do here but if you're looking to relax then this is the place to be. Recommend snorkelling.

Great beach to float at, to be one with the seaweed. A little sunny during the day, but has an amazing place to have lunch at, the Salad Hut.

Not many tourists but the beach is very narrow and covered in see algae, rubbish, and pieces of plastic. I didn't get into the water even once as it looks very dirty!

I do not understand the negativity of other reviews, I think this beach is amazing, but be aware of sea urchins in the water! In the morning it's perfect for swimming,in the afternoon the is less water, but it's still nice. Tou can find here there swings for your IG picture, various bat and restaurants and many thai massages right at the beach.

Great place to chill out, many restaurants and resort by the beach to get drinks πŸ– today the sea is wavy, so it's not good for snorkeling..

Haad Salad (also known as Pirate Beach) is definitely on my TOP 3 list of the best beaches in Koh Phangan. It has clean water and is very good for swimming and diving. There are many restaurants and beaches along the beach.

Lovely beach. Preferred it to Haad Yao and is only a 20 minute walk between the two. Shaded areas are minimal though.

Our favorite beach on the island. We convinced our private boat charter to land the speedboat here. On low tide we understood why. Safer to arrive on taxi boat or taxi but doable

It's one of the beach on the island where you can do some snorkeling, and the water is not bad but full of seaweed at shore.

Green Cloudy water, ok for swimming as gets deep enough but not clear (it was a windy day when we went). Busy, Sandy beach , some corals on entry. A few beach bar restaurants to choose from but very busy.

One of the great beaches on the island, if it is not overcrowded. Be there before noon and you will enjoy it fully.

Small charming beach with some very good and cheap Restaurants. Barely any people there in September. Perfect to relax, read, swim and enjoy a beautiful sunset.

One of the best beaches in the island! Family friendly, serene and clean. There are a couple of bars at each end of the beach, many shady areas to enjoy the views and a few places to get a massage right on the beach.

Tranquil and beautiful beach. Pretty quickly goes to waist deep, which is definitely enough for swimming and doing some strokes. You can go deeper but it’s rocky.

Quiet and beautiful beach. I loved the color and warmness of the water. Also spotless clean.
