Amazing pancakes, very wide selection of pancakes, sandwiches and drinks. The place looks great and cozy, plenty of outdoor & indoor seating and opened their doors 62 years ago. 1959! The staff is friendly and skilled. They speak English and have a English menu. They take credit card, cash and debit cards. The area around the restaurant is very nice to explore by foot, bike, car and has plenty of free parking. Wheelchair accessible, maybe inside is slightly difficult.

This was sooo quaint and cute! Dutch pancakes are interesting, I got one with smoked salmon and it was tremendous! We had another one that was a Ardennes bacon with cheese and pineapples... both were so good! We also got a soup before pancake, one chicken soup and the soup of the day... white asparagus! Yummy!!

Who would've thought that in this charming village surrounded by forests, you'd find one of the best, if not the best, pancake house in the Netherlands? Having cycled here from Utrecht, I arrived hungry and ready for a hearty meal. Dutch pancakes are larger than their French and American counterparts and they can be a meal in itself. I had the Pannenkoek De Vuursche Boer (named after the restaurant) which was generously topped with lots of tuna and vegetables. It was a very tasty and satisfying meal and a great induction for me into the world of Dutch pancakes.

The big tall guy working behind the counter making coffee and other drinks was constantly rubbing his face. Then his shirt. Then his hair. Then his face again. Then he wiped his hands on his shirt. And onward. We saw this happening a few days ago from the table we were sitting at. No good hygiene practices unfortunately! The gluten free / dairy free stuff is nothing special. Just added water instead of milk.

Had tuna salad sandwich and tried a BBQ pulled chicken sandwich with coleslaw, both were fantastic. Can be a bit pricey but the food quality and quantity is there to meet it unlike some other places. Would recommend.

Great ambience and neighboring forest views all through the drive and whole dining. Quaint and nice town / village overall. Food was just great - we got one sandwich with bacon / ham (it was OK), two sweet and one savory pannenkoeken. The savory one was pulled chicken and it was outstanding. Nice spot to get a good bite on a weekend.

Pannenkoekenhuis De Vuursche Boer is a charming (fairly new) pancake house located in a beautiful setting. Known for its delectable pancakes, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's a must-visit spot to savor traditional Dutch pancakes in a picturesque environment.

Simone, Simone. I'm in love with Simone. What a lovely person and a perfect waitress. Worth her weight in gold!

Very fiendly service, good choice of sweet and savoury pancakes 🥞, cosy restaurant. We come here as long as I can remember with the family, and it is always great.

Very disappointing lunch today, left hungry and feeling less than happy with the experience. We ordered dairy (milk) free pancakes, due to a milk allergy, when offered an option without eggs, asked if it could be a batter with eggs, and was told that was fine. What we got were rubbery undercooked pancakes, which when I asked, was told they were made without eggs, with soymilk and cornflour. They use a different batter and pans for the allergy/vegan orders, but use this standard batter, which has very little nutritional value. Ended up not eating most of my pancake as it just was not very nice. Then when we went to pay, turns out was even charged extra for requesting two pancakes without milk - this was not stated on the menu. No apology and given the privilege of being charged extra for an undercooked cheaper batter. Frankly I would not come here if you have a dairy allergy or want a vegan pancake, it was really disappointing. My husband loved his traditional pancake with bacon and cheese, so for traditional pancakes it appears great.

Traditional Dutch pancake restaurant. Come with traditional food and the traditional (old fashioned) decor. Friendly staff, good pancakes, and the restaurant is in a nice wooded area for a walk after lunch. No vegan options (pancakes made with cow milk) but you can get vegetarian pancakes.

Good food but the service was non too friendly. The other patrons commented amongst themselves about this. There are better places in the direct neighborhood.

A wonderful and stylish pancake house. We were afraid we wouldn’t have a big enough breakfast, but we could barely finish the delicious pancakes. The place also had an english menu.

Really good atmosphere but nothing outstanding on the pancake. Mine was burned a bit and surprisingly they gave me 2 small Nutella packs which in today’s world is a big waste in my opinion. The variety of pancake types is very poor. The service is super fast, staff is friendly.

The pancakes are expensive so we had the uitsmijters, 3 eggs and ham and cheese on bread for 9 euro. Good value.

My Dutch pancake with cheese was delicious and so filling. I could eat only half and took the rest home in a doggie bag

Our visit was OK, the food quality and the space are good, but we had expected better in terms of service. Had to ask for a coffee twice and still they forgot, also took us 30 mins before the food order was taken. Then we had to ask for the bill twice, still nothing after 15 mins so we went inside to pay but were told we couldn’t, so had to sit and wait for another 10 mins. Hopefully better next time!

Always good pancakes. Just a pity they open at 1100 earliest for pancakes. Nice environment. Nice location.

It is a cosy place, tried pulled chicken pancake. Pancakes are huge, this is half portion that we shared with my husband. We will come back for sure.

Lovely Dutch pancake restaurant in a beautiful location. Great walks around the local area also. Staff are very attentive. Prices are reasonable as the portion size is significant!

Wonderful pannenkoeken. They should upgrade the beer selection though. But, if you want authentic dutch pancakes in a lovely surrounding, then this is the place to be

Best pannenkoeken huis ever! Order spek (bacon) en kaas (cheese) pancake and appel (apple), suiker (sugar) en kaneel (cinnamon) pancake. Then, cover with stroop (beet-based molasses type of syrup). Bring your Mom, bring your Loved Ones, bring anyone visiting from away, come on your fiets (bike) TOPS!

Nice little glass of orange juice and a fun speck and cheese pancake. Throw on a little syrup and it’s a party in your mouth.
