A State Of Trance 2024 == huge indoor event area with large halls. Lots of toilets, enough smoking areas. Great location.

I come here often. Whatever the event, everything is well organised. Relaxed atmosphere, food, drinks, toilets, accessibility. Nothing but praise.

Amazing place for concerts. Great sound, great facilities and great catering and lockers service. Food is limited, but there is some assortment of beers: draft Heineken or bottled Lagunitas or Affligem. Payment is only 'pinnen', so only cards and no cash.

Ahoy in Rotterdam is a multipurpose indoor arena and convention centre. Easy to reach by car or public transport and an experience of its own! Pictured is one of the many events hosted there called The Friends of Amstel LIVE. A wonderful and memorable place to visit, definitely recommended!

100% auto live October 22nd 2022! Amazing event of 300 super cars, gorgeous American muscle cars, fast and furious actual driven cars, car accessories, and car drifting shows! My boys spent 6 hrs of viewing and reading about their fav cars and watching different engines and motors! The event was very well organised and displayed variety of super cars!

Nice arena. Short walk from the Metro so easy to get to. Food and drink available on site which was fairly good. Vending machines dotted around the place for snacks and drinks. The arena is also a good size.

I found a very peaceful place full of birds. I sat on the bench for 2 hours looking at the beauty of this place. After a long day of work, you can relax here both with your family and alone. In good weather, it's a great place for a family picnic or reading a book and listening to music

Ahoy is the well equipped and functional Rotterdam Convention center. It is well connected, easy to reach by metro or bus. Ahoy provides conference organizers, exhibitors and attendees with spaces, facilities, technologies etc. There are many restaurants, department stores, shops in the area.

Went during the Rotterdam tattoo convention. It was a very good convention, but the prices of the Ahoy horca itself are really meaningless. 11 euros for 2 fries. 5.50 for a bottle of drink.

World Short Track Championships truly an experience. But what a shame to have a bite to eat there. Far too few stands to feed all those people. Very poorly organised

I just went to see Eckhart Tolle live. The distribution of the seats was quite poor, our whole row was missing, the staff was very rude when we were asking for the seats we paid. Fortunately the talk was magnificent and took us on a life altering journey.

Music halls have good aqustic, enough toilets, and access to drinks. If the concert is in area not meqnt for music aqustic can be bit less. Decent parking. Lots of open space for shows or festivals that dont require great sound (food, art, cars, etc.)

The place that is catering for the first of its kind: Multidiscipline Sports European Para-Championships 2023- from 08-20 August 2023. An event that is promoting sustainable environment by using mostly local sustainable produce to save the environment and reduce pollution. Looking forward to the start of the games. 45 European countries, 1500 athletes all aiming competing for Gold.

Amazingly bad sound. Sat almost center front of the stage, couple rows back, but I could only hear sound coming from the left speakers, so my right ear got barely any enjoyment.. And the overall sound was also incredibly bad. No audible bass during scenes that had it or when the drums in the orchestra were used.. probably because the speakers were very cheap or low quality. Also the male choir was barely audible at all during most parts where it was used, so the mixing was amateurish as well. Very very bad, other countries that play Lord of the Rings Live have much better sound, no acoustical problems like these whatsoever.. Not to mention the crappy chairs we were provided for our most expensive tickets. Unbelievable. Even the people from our group without any back problems already started having back aches after an hour or so. Ahoy? Unacceptable. Never again.

The sports hall is not bad, but the most beautiful thing is that in this hall we played men's volleyball Poland vs. the Netherlands. And it was Poles who constituted the majority of the fans. Supporting our team - Poles are playing at home!! In other meetings with Germany, the USA and Italy, we were even supported by the hosts who shouted "last" into the microphone. Thank you .

Very big hall to accommodate many booths. Wish there was more public seating available during expo's. Plenty of restrooms and smoking outlets available.

Ahoy stadium is promoting food waste! This is unacceptable at this time: the inflation is super high and a war going on nearby! People are struggling to make ends meet and you forced people to throw food and drinks away!!?? At least you should donate the food and drinks with packages you collected to a food bank or a charity. You say no food or drink is allowed. Sure I understand you want to make money, this is not the problem. However, it should be either be clearly communicated in advance or the security guys should allow us to store our backpacks. They told us it’s not possible, I cannot imagine there is no locker in such a big stadium and I found one right next to the entrance. Hundreds of bags of packed food and drinks are dumped into the bin! Then if you want to get food during the break? The queues were ridiculously long and after half and hour and it’s finally your turn, they simply told you they've run out of food! Terrible management! It should be noted that the staff members are very friendly, it’s not their fault.

Venue for the North Sea Jazz Festival (and other events, of course). With the new extension there are more stages with seating, which is becoming more important as I get older. Three consecutive days on my feet is not as easy as it used to be. Everything is well organized, and with parking close by it's the perfect venue for the festival.

Beautiful large events menu. I went to a Christian event, Awakening Europe. Ahoy was a briljant venue for this.

Great place for events, enjoyed the Burna Boy spacedrift tour. It was great show. Don't like the fact that you can only buy a bottle of water without the cover, it's just rediculous. After the event so many empty bottles on the ground and I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons why. Like that there were some vegan options to choose from the snack barstands around.

Ahoy hosts some great artists! Easily accessible with public transport. Fantastic acoustics. Not so large that the stage is impossible to see either.

It's a big building with a lot of space inside and out. It's easy to reach by bus, metro and car. Indoors there are several stores and restaurants, if you feel hungry you can get a bite before the event starts or sit down and relax. It must be said, for such a big building the toilet is pretty small and often has a queue. We went to the Japanese festival, it was nice. The food was good, it was a nice experience but it felt a bit rushed. Benches were put too close to each other, so sitting was not possible. Even though, it was a nice experience and I'll visit again when it comes back.

What lousy food service! Queuing endlessly for an order and then it turns out that you have to stand in the other endlessly long pick-up queue with your receipt... very bad management!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ An absolute dream excursion, possibly the highlight of the entire Rotterdam tour. Well worth the price as the journey takes 75 minutes and the views are priceless. πŸ‘ You need to be lucky to get sitted on a sunny day, toilets are not clean already by the lunch time, due to amount of people and not enough staff, though Woodz cafeteria on a opposite side of the water has no problem with it. Coffee as usual, can't recommend the food, however the place itself is quit...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ What a cool place! The food was delicious and the place has a nice style. The lower deck looks like a nice place for parties with the pub vibe. I recommend make reservation.
