It's a beautiful palace to visit. It is, however, difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. Not impossible, but difficult. The woman in the gift shop was lovely and everyone that was a part of the tour was wonderful. Sadly, I suggest you skip the lacklustre, overpriced restaurant. The wait takes forever, they forgot most of our food. And when I told them that the restrooms had no toilet paper, no soap and no papertowels, the response was rather uninterested and rude. Save your money and have a drink and snack when you leave the beautiful palace.

Paleis Soestdijk is opened from Friday to Sunday and it is a medium-sized palace. It is huge outside but there is not much to see inside. All porcelains are removed and the cupboards are all empty(see photos). The portraits exhibition is unattractive to me. Most decorations and furniture are not there. The staffs are very friendly. The royal garden is small and has a few items such as a lake with usual fountain, wooden white bridge, wooden chair, wooden house and a hut to show only. It will take half day or less to visit. I would recommend Paleis Het Loo instead. It is the best palace in Holland.

Beautiful surrounding, felt special knowing who used to live there, while I was dancing in the garden. I was at Royal Park Live, the Jack Johnson concert. I did not visit the palace itself. Had a wonderful evening, due to Jack Johnson, facilities and the location. Some of the public were apparently nΓ²t interested in Jack Johnson, they kept on talking and that was my only negative thing. But there were a lot of people talking..little disappointed about that.

Was there because of the live tv- broadcast of "Wie is de Mol". Location is perfect but I think the Palace, although i haven't been inside, falls into the old glory category and it could use a little paint here and there 😁 but the entourage was fine last night also because of the final exposure of the Mole of course😊

If you're interested in life of Dutch Royal family, this is the right place to go!! But don't expect luxury interiors inside this palace. It's very simple. Park is beautiful and comfortable for a short walks. There is a lovely Cafe in a former green house.

We did a small visit of just the grounds (5€ pp) it's a nice walk with possibility of a coffee (and tompuce) at the orangerie. Not sure about the castle which you can also visit. Seemed a bit expensive though

Nice palace with garden. The tour is recommended. It was great to see the worn out furnature and hear about the inside stories. You van visit prins Bernard’s toilet as it is still operational.

Beautiful white castle, the views from the park are superb. Great park but not free.

This palace housed the royal family during the reign of Queen Juliana and prince Bernhard. The palace is possibly most wellknown for the procession that marched there during the birthday of the queen each year. The place is a beautiful palace that was vacated after Juliana and Bernhard died. Now it is being renovated for use of cultural happenings. It is open to the public at certain times.

Beautiful Royal Palace, not much in there is of the actuals Dutch Royals, however pictures and stories tell a lot about them and how they lived here. Stunning scenery, gardens and palace all together.

Very nice estate and grounds. Does not accept US credit/debit cards, so be prepared with cash. 😊

Nice for a day out! Beautiful gardens with a lot of flowers and variety of plants. There’s a nice restaurant there although they are under staffed so they can be very slow to take your order. The whole state is huge! So be ready for a day full of walking. Getting here by public transport is easy but there are not a lot of options so if you miss your bus back be ready to wait an hour or more for the next one.

The concert at this venue was truly magical. Access to the stage by bus from the parking lot, all well thought out and well organized.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful park with a history the new owners of the glass house are ready to tell you any time. Worth a visit while in the town of Baarn. Take a stroll and enjoy the old species of trees, coming from the former Dutch colonies. The glass house is a cool place for a drink, sweet surprise and lunch. Fo...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Lovely walk via a route from Komoot. There are also mountain bike trails nearby and there is a small eatery where you can enjoy a snack and drink after your exercise. A real place to enjoy nature.
