Opening at Perlach Plaza. Never been to a Five Guys before but heard plenty about it online especially Youtube and everyone raving about it. Having read the previous review about costs and hence giving 1star, that is so typical German and cheap Neuperlacher who probably only shops at Aldi. I , too, eat McDonalds due to the convenience however I have to say that even though the cost at first may look high, the quality is second to none. My small cheeseburger I filled with mushrooms, relish, tomato, salad, cucumber etc has been as humengeous and filling as BigTasty but completely fresh. The small fries I couldn’t even finish and are as 3 large McDonalds fries and the small milkshake with peanutbutter is so tasty and filling, try the never available milkshake at McDonalds that only provides 3 flavors. Free refills for soda and plenty of peanuts available at no charge. My total was €18. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Graham was sweeping the floor and cleaned tables non stop. Has been lovely to talk to and been so attentive and kind. Nothing was a problem for him. All staff have been pleasant and well trained and I am happy they all speak English. True American vibe. I wish Five Guys all the success at Perlach Plaza, at least now you can save on your flight to the US and get amazing service. Well done and welcome to Neuperlach

Mold on a bun. It’s the last time I’m eating here. I already had mold on a burger in a different 5guys at Marienplatz, so I guess it’s a problem of quality in the whole network of 5guys. Don’t go there, it’s overpriced anyways

There are so many in the reviews calling out each other. Either saying it's not worth it for it's price or on the other spectrum calling it awesome and the people giving 1 star are cheap. I would review it from the perspective of not the cheap burger chains like McDonalds or BurgerKing, but gourmet burger joints who actually make amazing burgers. The burger was good, that's it. Nothing super special about it, it's not a terrible McDonald's burger but it's not as good as Hamburgerei, Taste my burger, CA-BA-LU either, where you can get more options to customize your burger and not just what ingredients you want. Lastly, I don't care about the bottomless cola so i wouldn't comment on that. The vibe is fast food chain with limited options but the prices match almost and sometimes more than proper burger joints. Would i go back to have another burger? Only if i am super hungry, i don't want to travel back to the center and it's one of my last options for food.

First time was good, second time very bad. The only thing that tasted nice were the fries. Apart of that the cheese in the burger was not melted, the Burger cold and the Fanta was flat. All together loveless...

I don’t get all the negative reviews here, I love the place. Is it more expensive than McDonalds? Absolutely, but in return you get an actual handmade burger with fresh ingredients, helpful staff that speak both English and German plus a transparent overview where the ingredients are coming from (potatoes from the Netherlands this week, love that). If you order something from Lieferando you pay at least the same amount of money. Keep up the good work and hope the place will be a success!

So where to start, at first I REALLY wanted to give this restaurant around 4 stars because food was mostly alright - just the beef patty lacked salt, french fries were quite salty, for drinks... From ex-waitress + ex-bartender with close to 10years of experience in restaurant setting view, cashier lady acted super professionally, even chefs were nice to me and my fiancé. But when I tried to re-do two my own messed up drinks I was, not calmly told, but shouted at by old looking tall guy about changing drinks that as far as me and my fiancé knew, weren't limited to refill. I despite having internal panic attack, calmly complied with shouting man's wishes and just threw out cup so I don't get shouted at more. I am sorry but I, as ex-worker of restaurant in Lithuania, was taught to always respect customers and be calm, assuring, helpful to them, so I expected same from worker too. I and my fiancé would have been willing to return to this restaurant despite an ok - burger, salty french fries but we won't return there ever again.

The place is super clean and the servise is spotless. The employees are pleasant as well. The food is great overall, but the french fries are the best I've ever tried!

Fastfood chain. Hamburger was ok, I would say even better than competitors. But somehow tables were not clean and tidy. They should think about using trays to prevent food residuals on tables.

Not sure why are there so many bad reviews... Went here for lunch with colleagues and got a bacon cheeseburger with a milkshake. Of course, price 12 EUR for burger and 5 for the milkshake is more expensive than usual. But I was really impressed by the size and filling (two cutlets, mushrooms, pickles, cheese, bacon, yummi), it tasted really good and was perfect for lunch. As for milkshake, I got Biscoff one and it was godly, so thick and delicious, definitely worth the money. Small downside that for takeaway the cups for drinks were open, also they forgot to add ketchup and mayo for my friend's bag (though we don't need them). Probably the process of packing for takeaway needs to be improved. So far feels like one of the best burger places in Munich, can definitely recommend.

The first time I went to Five Guys was the opening week in Frankfurt. The burger was disappointing then - bloody meet, soggy buns. So I avoided Five Guys for a long time even if it's considered a beacon of classic American burgers. So this Saturday night when we parked in front of Five Guys in Perlach Plaza, we didn't even have a plan to go in. But the restaurant looked very inviting on a quiet night and we all had a craving for a milkshake so we went in. And the milkshakes were extremely satisfying. These days the milkshakes you get in any American burger chain (read McDonald's and Burger King) are powdery goo mixed with ice slush. But not here. The shakes were thick and felt actually made from ice cream (not sure if they are!). The flavour was not overpowering and artificial. I also ate their classic Cheeseburger - double patty, seasam buns and good amount of cheese. A definite redemption from my prior memories. That Burger and shakes made me realise why it's such a nostalgia in America. Would go there again.

We can discuss several things, starting with the prices, which are too high for the presentation and products. be ashamed....

2 stars for the burger, but this is the worst five guys experience I've ever had since they changed their managers. The new manager is rude and creates some weird rules. The latest is you shall not take the free peanuts if you're still waiting in line to order, even though they're before the order point. Love the franchise but I'll avoid this location as much as I can until the manager changes.

The workers were kind, everything inside was clean and tidy, and most importantly, I enjoyed the burger and fries, I will definitely come again and I recommend everyone to come and try the burger and the best fries in town

It took very long time to prepare the order and it was not as fresh as expected after this long wait…
