When we visited the restaurant, it wasn’t crowded and there were still available chairs for us to choose from. The taste of the food was alright nothing special. But the chicken was good especially the sisig. The ambiance of the restaurant was a bit dark it lacks light when we were seated. The staff were also accommodating to our requests.

Good place to eat inside SM Baguio. Still the great chicken in a typical Filipino restaurant. Highly recommended.

Max’s the place where many fond memories shared all over this country. Famous for fried chicken, felt chicken serving this time over fried-quite dry all over. Service good as expected. Nice location with good view of city.

Love their chicken here but service is not so satisfactory. Needs to improve cleanliness as well.

I don’t know what happened to this branch, but I am so disappointed! First if all the sisig are full of onions! It should be onion sisig. Their fried chicken is quite toasted and I feel that it’s not as juicy as before, no crispy pata available, the fresh lumpia is dried, and the pancit is quite salty. It is just a mystery that this branch is different from the one in Session Road. Anyway, I enjoyed their halo halo and the ambience is quite nice. I really hope that they can improve or bring back that old Max feeling.

The rice was partially cooked, but other than that, all the menues we ordered were tasty^^

Disappointed! Ordered Halo Halo there’s nothing in the halo halo only ice and milk. I asked the waitress, she came back and told me they forgot to put the sago. That’s all they have. It is not worth it.

Under renovation when I went there last October 7, 2022 so I called the number and learned that it will be closed until the end of the year. No notice seen on their fb page though so, I had to treat my senior parents to lunch at other restaurants nearby.

Over fried chicken, dry rice, bland palabok. Avoid at all costs

we ordered 3 piece chicken maximo plate. the best part was the iced tea. the picture shows a generous amount of rice which we didnt get. the chicken itself was ok but nothing special. The kamote chips were stale and tasteless. we also ordered the side sisig chicken salad, which was terrible. three lousy leaves of lettuce, if that, two measly slices of cucumber, some shredded cabbage, and tiny bits of chicken, like chicken sprinkles. we also added a brewed coffee, which tasted ok, but served in a very small cup. the cup itself was not even full, and even less full when we got the refill. go there for the view, but skip this restaurant.
