Food is good. It is fresh and tasty, especially their ramen. I love their kakigori. Most of their staff are accommodating. It is a peaceful place to eat. Food is pricey but it is worth it. 👌👌👌

most of the items are too pricey for the taste and quality of food. update: first review ppsted 5 years ago. recent visit (january 27): they improved their ramen - now creamier and noodles are better. hope they will serve the ramen when they are hot, not lukewarm. still too pricey and there is service charge on top of your regular bill.

Courteous staff welcomed us as we entered Sumosam. The meals came in generous servings and were delicious. The only problem is the restaurant’s interior. It needs to be revamped. The restaurant looked small because of too many tables and chairs and appeared dark because of busted lighted bulbs.

In our top 5 favorite Japanese restos. Very good food at reasonable price. Service is usually ok as well.

Staff were very accommodating, nice, and informative. We were informed one ramen vowl is actually large and may be split into two for sharing. Everything was in large servings and so worth it!

This place fails my typical Japanese food expectation. I had gyoza and I grade it a fail. They also did not have unagi and other choices in their menu. Generally, food doesn't taste authentic.

Nice ambiance. Has parking. Good service. Authentic Japanese food and taste. The only complaint we have when we visited this branch is their Tonkatsu and Chicken Curry is really tough and my friends were unable to eat it.

Went with a group of six for dinner at their Camp John Hay branch, Baguio City, and ordered different Ramen. We all agree that their noodles are quite fresh, soft and delicious. The broth was tasty and rich however, could have been served hotter. It was lukewarm. Price is a bit pricey but it goes with the place and ambience. The prawn tempura was also good with light batter, the gyoza however was a bit too fried for me. Overall, it was a good experience.

If you’re craving for an authentic taste of seafood, Sumosam is a great place to dine in 👌.Their California roll and maki had that perfect blend of tastes that just melts in your mouth. Their sushis were expertly crafted that we had to order more. Their salads were refreshing with its burst of flavor and texture! And their soup, oozing with flavor, meat and vegetables it’s one of their best! On top of that their serving were very generous that we had a very satisfying and filling meal!❤️So worth it!
