Baguio Bamboo Sanctuary is located at St. Francis Xavier Seminary. It showcases different species of bamboos that were planted in the park. It also has trails you can follow where bamboos are lined in the pathways. As you walk along the bamboos, you can feel that positive feeling that the trees are providing. A refreshing feeling. Open Mondays to Sundays 7:00am to 5:00pm Admission: • No entrance fee required. • However, everyone is encouraged to donate any amount for the upkeep of the sanctuary. Transportation Access: • Car: 15 to 20-minute drive from Burnham Park.

If you are going solo or with a friend, best you hire the cab driver since it's a quite a hike when you go on foot. The place itself has a very light trail with it's featured bamboo sanctuary. Great place to just be silent, reflect, and maybe even practice your photography. We went here when it was raining but still enjoyed it. I recommend visiting it when the sun's shining though.

The last 100 meters to the place is very steep. Ample parking at the back of the seminary. Separate comfort rooms for the tourists. Different bamboo species planted around the property of the minor seminary. Free. No entrance fee. Donations are most welcome. Honesty Coffee and Lumpia snacks (donate as you wish)

The sense of tranquility is heaven😌. Here in Bamboo Sanctuary is where we can found different variety of bamboos. It takes 30 minutes drive from the city proper. We only paid Php 20 for parking fee and a donation in any amount that serves as entrance fee. The weather here is the best. It seems like I am in a different country specifically the Japan feels.

Loved it! Comparable to Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Japan! 🥰 We came 7.30am on Friday off-peak season and there was no one else so we got to roam around the park by ourselves taking as many photos as we liked. The trails are pretty easy although it may be difficult for elderly but there is an easier route for them to return to the benches to have some coffee and rests. Coffee is provided (php25) and self-service, just remember to put down the money before consumption. Cardio Trail (3) brings you up a small hill in 5-10 minutes to enjoy the breezy view overlooking the valley. Really enjoy our time here and highly recommended you to come! Parking - PHP30 Entrance Fee - Donation basis, registration required. Opens on Fridays-Sundays, 7.30am-4.30pm

Its like a mini Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in minus the Rickshaw service. Definitely a must see when you are in Baguio. They sell a few stuff as well like coffee and bamboo cane and they rely on honesty system of payment. The road going to the place was a bit steep and narrow for me as I am used to city driving but was manageable. We visited during the weekend and there were quite a buildup of tourists/guests so make sure to visit as early as possible.

Amazing place seeing all those different species of Bamboo. The place is well-maintained by the seminary. Would recommend going early to have the place all by yourself. Was surprised that the entrance is free but be generous enough to donate to them.

It has the feel of Kyoto's Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Entrance is free basically free. You just give a donation of any amount. You have to pay for parking when you bring your own car.

We enjoyed the short walk through the Bamboos. It was beautiful. We didn't try the cardio trail anymore, as i don't think I'll survive it 😀 There is no entrance fee, but you have the option to donate. We didn't have any trouble with getting a parking space. I think we got lucky.

We went there on holidays around 4 pm; the crowd is smaller. There's no entrance fee, but you can donate. They also have 'honesty' coffee inside, and I think you can rent a Japanese umbrella for 15 pesos for your photo ops. Pet friendly :)

Bring your comfiest shoes and water if you plan to reach the top, it's really tiring and time consuming if you're not that active type of person lol. It's a good place to visit if you're into trekking. It could be a bit busy because of the Arashiyama bamboo hype but if you really want to connect with nature, it would be best to go here in the early morning. We came here around 10am and it was already busy. You have to pay an entrance fee (below 200 for 2 persons).

The Sanctuary is clean. Health protocol is maintained. Free admission but donation box is placed at the entrance on your registration. Just give something what you can ~ 🥰 I hope I can stay longer and take more awesome shots and short videos. Looks like, "The King: Eternal" KDrama Vibe

Serene and beautiful, this tourist spot will drown your eyes in wonder of the fastest growing plant on Earth. I suggest you go early in the morning to catch the fresh breeze passing through the bamboos and feel a sense of calmness.

Entrance is free but you can donate any amount to the seminary that owns the place. There’s also a sweet and friendly doggo guide who loves belly rub.

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Bamboo Sanctuary during our trip to Baguio City, and let me just say, it was an absolutely stunning experience from start to finish! Nestled amidst the lush and serene surroundings of Baguio's beautiful countryside, this hidden gem truly lives up to its name. As we entered the sanctuary, we were greeted with a captivating sight of towering bamboo trees swaying gently in the breeze. The sheer beauty and tranquility of the place were enough to put us in a state of awe and relaxation. The scent of the fresh mountain air and the gentle rustling of leaves created a serene atmosphere that instantly melted away our stress and worries. The Bamboo Sanctuary offered various activities for both adults and children, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in nature and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We took a leisurely stroll along the picturesque bamboo pathways, which provided a sense of calm and peace like no other. As we walked, the bamboo trees provided a natural canopy, creating a soothing ambiance that transported us to a world of pure tranquility. Overall, our family visit to the Bamboo Sanctuary was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty of nature, the warmth of the culture, and the tranquility of the sanctuary. It was a truly rejuvenating experience that allowed us to reconnect with each other and appreciate the immense beauty that Baguio City has to offer. If you're looking for a place to unwind and escape the chaos of everyday life, the Bamboo Sanctuary is an absolute must-visit destination.

There's no entrance fee. You just need to give some donation at the sanctuary's entrance area. We went here in the morning so there was no long line of tourists. It is far from the city center, so it might get expensive going here alone and via taxi. Nevertheless, going back to the city center is easy as there are jeepneys parked right outside the attraction. Overall, a must-visit place especially for those who want nice instagram photos. 😂

Loving the vibes of this new place. So when you go there please do follow rules. It can be visited for free so do not make any damages on the place. I saw a few vandals on the bamboos which is prohibited. Please stop doing such actions.

The best thing is there's no entrance fee. Just be generous to give donation for the maintenance.

I loved this place. No entrance fee. You only pay for parking fee of P20. Contributions is voluntary for the maintenence of the place. Trekking along the trail gives one a sense of tranquility. Very peaceful surroundings. Friendly reminders can be seen around the area, with visible directions which trails you want to explore. It's a place that can be compared to Japan because of bamboos everywhere. Enjoyed the adventure. And for the more younger visitors they can always try the cardio trail which looks challenging.

It's OK. A good hike if you have the time. Lots of places to take your IG pics. Won't be putting it on top of a list though. I'd you have time and you're not in a hurry, and you enjoy hikes, would definitely recommend it

They started as an experimental site for species of bamboo. Propagation was done here. They have tested bamboo species for erosion control here and succeeded. They actually saved hundreds or maybe thousands of residence below the area by doing so. Now it is slowly being developed to be a tourist destination.

Bamboo Sanctuary No entrance fee. But they do have a donation box. Just make sure to put some Insect repellant spray or lotion most specially to your kids. Great place to visit :)
