Best experience with amazing service from the staff in New Balat Cafe. Made us feel welcome into their restaurant, had enjoyed the clay pot experience, gotta have it. Joseph & Barat were so fun to have serve us. If you're staying in the Balat area definitely come to 'New Balat Cafe Restaurant' to have these two give you the best service. My partner and I ate here and could not fault the food. The staff were absolutely amazing and very kind. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy a good meal look no further.

We were warmly greeted for lunch by Bahattin who explained the menu and recommended the mezee plate and filled turkish pancakes. All were superb and made and served with care and attention. From the entrance, inside tables are well spaced and tables at the back are on a covered terrace. Highly recommended.

Food is perfect (clay pot, babaghanoush, fresh salad) so is the fresh juices (I took pomegranate one). Clay pot comes with entertainment so have your phone ready to film it! Great staff too. Muhammet was our beloved server. Highly recommend.

We came early so we had a table outside.We really enjoyed at this restaurant especially watching this nice lady making gözleme. We had a delicious Turkish breakfast, menemen, cheese and Nutella gözleme. Place is really cute and very photogenic. I definitely recommend this place.

We looked for a great place to eat in this cool part of town and came across New Balat Cafe on Google. We just had to leave another positive 5 star review. Apo looked after all as soon as we walked in and took care of our every need. The food was beyond delicious and authentic. A must visit when you come to Istanbul!

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Delicious fresh local foods. The spinach pancake I had for breakfast was literally made in front of me on a hot plate. So nice to see! Their Turkish coffee is served just the way I like it! - strong! Finished with a Turkish tea and baklava on the house. Looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu on my next trip to beautiful Istanbul.

I've had the pleasure of dining with my wife at New Balat twice, and I must say we were thoroughly delighted both times. The food is incredibly tasty, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The cozy ambiance and overall atmosphere of the place really enhance the dining experience. To top it all off, the prices are quite reasonable. We can't recommend New Balat enough! If we are in Istanbul again, will visit New Balat again :)

The food is very fresh and delicious! We ordered pasta, a burger and salad and they came out in a very timely manner and was nice and hot. Very friendly and entertaining staff with great music 🎵🎶🎵🎶
