Ideal location but worst managed. Could be a most visited place in Pakistan with some investment and by rebuilding it on international standards.

This wildlife park is poorly managed. Although it covers a big area and green grassy fields but everything shows lack of interest from relevant authorities. Birds' cages are old and need maintenance, grassy grounds need regular trimming and care, and the park staff needs to be trained.

The wildlife and safari park had been set up 25 years ago in the twin cities. Conceived in 1988 and opened in 1992, the park boasted massive enclosures sprawling over 1,050 acres of forest land. But over the years, the park has fallen into disrepair. Moreover, there was a free-for-all over the park’s land, which has seen its estate shrink to just 450 acres. Tigers and lions at the park, who once prowled the lush green lands, have been confined to their cages for fear that the weak and broken fences may allow them to escape and terrorise residents of adjoining areas. Officials at the Lohi Bher Safari Park have taken the unprecedented step of caging up the lions for fear they may become a victim to rampant land grab.

The place is really nice for those who yearn for some wilderness but the department of Wild life is in a shambles and looks impoverished. It appears the birds and animals are not getting the care they deserve. They have two places actually disconnected from each other by wild growth that the department is unable to clear. The road from Islamabad Expressway is in really poor shape and if you wanna go there in your car you might find it challenging. The part where they keep the lions is too close to the Korang Nullah and smells really awful.

The lion's cage was good and huge, but all the other poor animals were thrown in small cages with concrete floors and a little room to play around. I think plain dirt is better than concrete for them. It's a good picnic spot though, bring your kids to stretch their legs.

Nothing is there. A deserted place with no cleanliness, sitting benches or any food stalls. Only a lion is there and thats it. Totally worthless to go there and waste ur time

This beautiful and great park is in very bad condition. Main reason seems to be the land grabbing and negligence of responsible govt Departments. All are requested to launch a complaint on Citizen Portal app to prime minister and Chief Minister of Punjab for rehabilitation of this Safari Park in its original shape. At present the road to this park from Islamabad Highway is closed and alternative path is from Korang Town Street no. 5. Please do visit, take some pictures and videos and upload on social media to raise the voice to save this national assets. Thank you.

Severely under-funded/under-maintained. None of the children's playground equipment is usable. Not one single slide in the entire park is intact. Only one swing semi-working. There is enough space to run around and have a picnic. I point out the amenities/facilities because the animals are not worth mentioning. There is sometimes a lion or two or a bear in a cage with low visibility. The monkey house has a few pairs of primates which will happily take any food from your hand that you give them as it looks like they are always underfed. Two different species of deer and a few birds round out the entirety of the menagerie.

Loi bher safari park is now called lohi bher wildlife park. Its main enterance used to be from the main Islamabad express way near koral Chowk but now they have closed that road and give a new enterance from back side of this park that road comes from PWD. It comes straight from police foundation colony and street number five will take you to the new gate of lohi bher wild life park. There used to be a lion safari area in this park where you could go in your car directly and see the lion free in that specific area from your car. There used to be many other animals in other cages but in recent visits I could only see one lioness some monkeys and two types of deer in the cages and some other birds in other cages but everything is in a miserable condition with no management. It's a dirty place now. Not a recommended place to visit with kids. Everything is broke and needs maintenance.

Main entrance road of park is badly broken and willnot be repaired anytime sooner. When i happened to enter it took my by surprise when there is no proper cleaning and maintenance around the road sides. Birds aviary is rusted and has very small birds which are being taken care of. Overall area is worth visiting

Wildlife park with Peaceful environment not to much busy also some swings are there for enjoyment. Some birds are there in there cages, monkeys, wolves and deers. One thing that I don't like is the maintenance as there is no cleaning of park as well as cages of animals, not proper maintenance of park. Overall a good place for relaxation, getting fresh air and exploring nature.

Main entrance is lost due to rain and poor maintenance by Punjab Government and ICT Administration ... Animals are less in number but environment is of bare minimum standard. The temporary way (by foot) fron Korang Town Extension is available and good place for people of adjacent areas to go for morning walk

Good place to visit.You can feed the monkeys and birds and its extremely cheap.However,its not-well kept.The animals are not well fed or given adequate water.There is tall unkempt grass which can cause cuts on hands and legs.Also,they shut down the safari,in which you could ride your car into the animal's enclosures.Asking the government to look after this.What was once a beautiful place has now been subjected to extreme levels of negligence.

The park is in its worst shape. Although it has a small zoo with few birds, monkeys and a pair of lions. The kids play areas are all broken. They do not have any gardners to keep the greenery. No maintenance of the park overall. Not sure if the animals are getting proper care or not!
