Sharan forest is an untouched beauty in the midst of KPK. It is located at 16km Jeep trek from Paras(30km from Balakot). It is the most serene place I've ever been to. Camping and being close to nature is something different and unique experience for people who felt exhausted by monotonous life routine and want to feel serene and fresh in such a cool environment. I have been there with my friends and it was worth the time and money. We enjoyed alot and could feel the calmness for a very long time. So, if you're a passionate trekker and nature lover you gotta visit this place.

The Sharan forest is a dense jungle which has been preserves by law as a natural resource. The provincial government that owns the jungle has promoted eco tourism. Despite it's density, the jungle has several villages located inside it. People living in the villages benefit from this tourism activity. The forest has very tall trees of different varieties including some fruits.

Mystical place in the misty and snowy forest of Northern part of Balakot region. The forest is like cropped out from Disney's Frosen movie. Though the road has been rocky and snowy as we rode up along the hills toward the forest, it had been thrilling and adventurous with a jeep ride as we rode along the curvy road with a steep hill on the side. For those we love to explore the wonder of unknown lands, this is the place and you will be caprivated by its natural beauty that God has created.

This was a beautiful adventure, we didnt rent rooms, we camped there in the jungle, it was right up to the mark. Took us 12 hours to get there but it was totally worth it.

A beautiful place and heaven for travellers and nature lovers. Best place for camping and natural forest. An amazing experience. There are 2 options to hike, one is to go down to see waterfall and second is to hike up to Maansho top. Weather is always pleasant and mostly raining. Fortunately we got clear weather for one day. Temperature drops at night and need warm sleeping bags. A must go place. Pods are also available but with advance bookings only.

Sharan Forest best visiting place for hiking. Widlife department is also active here in this area. According to sources a good amount of leapords and Big black bears are present in this area. According to locals they have seen brown bears here in this area. Rare encouter with these animals. 2 Hours hiking from Sharan forest to Manshi Top. You can also go to the top using horses.

One of the best place for touring. Jeep track is not dangerous as comapred to fairy meadows jeep track. It took aprox 1 to 2

Road is like jheel saif ul malook only jeeps & 4x4 drive can drive on it wheather is very cool only 1 TDCP hotel and 5 to 6 huts which are booked in advance some other local people's made private huts which are also advance booked never go without advance booking otherwise u have no option for stay and u need to ga back PARAS. It's a nice place but if you have come from far to explore there are other better places If you are a hiking guy this place is well for you as there are less plain grounds and you will always find yourself on steep..

Sharan Forest is a rare to find place in today's world. You feel lost in nature. Please don't spread garbage if you ever go there.
