Definitely
not
a
*bad*
area
to
spend
your
evening,
but
it
isn't
anything
like
it
used
to
be.
I
visited
this
place
a
few
years
ago,
and
was
hoping
to
show
my
husband
how
much
fun
it
had
been
to
come
here
12
years
ago
--
a
lot
had
changed.
The
area
was
pretty
deserted,
for
a
weekend,
and
had
hardly
anything
fun
to
do
at
all.
I
remember
crowds,
amazing
live
music,
dance
floors
crowded
with
people,
lively
games,
comfy+cool
swings,
mechanical-bull-riding
and
one
cover
charge
to
get
into
an
array
of
different
fun
nightclubs.
Only
a
few
of
the
locations
were
still
open,
but
they
weren't
nightclubs,
anymore:
they
were
mostly
sports
bars,
and
without
any
pool,
darts
or
anything
else
to
play
--
well,
aside
from
the
pay-to-play
touch-screen
computer
games.
There
was
no
live
music
in
any
of
these
sports
bars
and
it
was
the
weekend.
After
some
searching
at
different
places
I
did
find
someplace
other
than
a
"sports
bar",
and
the
mechanical
bull!
However...it
was
being
used
as
a
show
to
lure
in
guys:
a
scantily-clad
bartender
rode
it
(the
bartenders
took
shifts
doing
this,
it
seemed),
and
there
was
an
option
to
pay
to
ride
it
with
her.
There's
nothing...*wrong*
with
that,
but
it
did
seem
like
entirely
the
wrong
setting
--
since
we
weren't
at
a
strip
club
and
the
place
was
lit
up
like
a
mall
or
something...
The
overly
bright
lights
of
*this*
place,
coupled
with
the
location's
complete
lack
people
made
this
look
even
LESS
appealing,
aesthetically.
You
could
clearly
see
the
entire
location's
population
of
8
single
male
customers
reduced
to
drooling,
sweaty
guys,
in
full,
very
brightly
lit
4K,
Ultra
HD
--
who
could
also
clearly,
uncomfortably,
see
each
other
🤣😂(not
these
guys'
fault,
I
definitely
blane
the
lighting
and
the
completely
wrong
atmosphere)
This
was
just..
not
a
great
look,
is
all
I'm
saying.
At
least
put
a
spotlight
on
the
bull,
dim
the
surrounding
lights,
make
the
place
an
actual
strip
club
IDK
do
something!
Lol.
Back
in
the
day,
the
customers
could
take
turns
trying
to
ride
the
bull
for
free...
This
place
also
did
not
have
live
music.
There
was
a
dance
floor,
but
nobody
was
on
it.
The
dance
floor
was
also
very
brightly
lit
(not
even
in
different
colors).
I
can't
believe
that
none
of
these
remaining
locations
here
didn't
at
least
have
darts,
shuffleboard,
pool...something.
Nobody
was
dancing,
and
there
wasn't
any
live
music.
I
was
pretty
sad
that
I
couldn't
show
my
husband
what
an
amazing
hotspot
this
had
been
15
years
ago,
now.
If
you're
looking
for
some
quiet
places
to
go
watch
your
favorite
sports
team
on
decent
televisions,
without
a
lot
of
people,
and
you
don't
mind
if
the
place
looks
a
little
bit
run-down
then
check
out
these
sports
bars.
Or,
if
you're
interested
in
paying
to
ride
a
mechanical
bull
with
a
scantily-clad
bartender
--
or
watching
other
people
pay
to
do
this
(in
a
location
with
the
atmosphere
of
a
Golden
Buffet),
then
you
might
find
a
good
time
here
🤔😁.
**
Obviously
these
locations
have
probably
changed
a
lot
since
I
last
visited
about
3
or
4
years
ago,
so
perhaps
they've
made
some
awesome
changes,
I
don't
know
🙂.
I
suggest
reading
all
of
the
more
recent,
therefore
relevant,
reviews
before
evaluating
my
own
--
I'm
just
recording
the
experience
that
I
had
here
several
years
ago,
because
in
some
ways
it
was
hilarious
🙂.
