Mon is highly skilled, empathic and easy going. We did a full day tour, which easily exceeded all of our expectations. The climbs were interesting, fun, got exceedingly challenging and provided amazing views. Abseiling in the afternoon was our first time, and the explanation was great. The group size was 4, everyone got plenty of climb time. Security was taken care of, helmets and gear was in good shape. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I did a 3-day climbing course with Mon and loved it! Both of us do bouldering in the gym but had no experience climbing with ropes outdoor. Mon was very knowledgeable about climbing and the area. He gave us good advices and encouraged us to challenge ourselves but also kept our levels/conditions in mind. He was very chill, supportive and attentive to details. I honestly wished we could stay and climb longer. We will def come back again!

Had a really nice half day climbing with Mon! I have some outdoor climbing experience, but my bf didn't, so we choose a guide. It was really fun! And we got to belay each other (which we have experience in). Mon choose good routes for our level :) Karst Climbing was fast to respond to emails + was on time for the pick up in the morning.

We had such a good day with Mon! Everything was smooth and safe, the equipment was solid, and we had a lot of fun. Mon is great, he's super engaged while we're climbing, giving tips and encouragement. He also picked spots for us to climb that were less busy, which I appreciated. What an awesome guy. Had a blast with Karst Climbing on Railay and Phra Nang beach. Because of my experience with bouldering I felt like a private guide would be able to challenge me more, so after the super friendly owner Mon had picked me and my wife up from our hotel we all went with the boat and I was handed over to my guide Em. While my wife relaxed on the beach I climbed 7 routes in a few hours. Em was able to guide me on the rock and offered me to do harder routes, or helped me reflect not to overachieve too hard routes after he saw my technique. The upside to the private half day guide was that I could have everything tailored to my needs, but the downside was that it is really crowded on the beaches and I still had to wait for routes to be available. Obviously I could have asked to go to a quieter place but most of the warm-up routes and 6a/6b routes were in those places. If I would come back I'd book a full day in a group tour because with the climate in Thailand I needed more breaks than I expected. In that way I would have had more value for my money, but I'm still really happy I booked with Karst Climbing. Trustworthy and good vibes! Prepare to get sweaty! Thank you for all the good care, Mon and Em, and the t shirt souvenir! If I ever come back I'm staying at Ao Nang again and do a full climbing holiday!

Amazing climbing experience with our guide Mon! We booked a half day session just to try it out because we heard Krabi was a top destination for climbing (we’re both super beginners). Mon was smiling the whole time. He was super supportive and helped us get through a few climbs adapted to our skill set. Easy enough for beginners to do but challenging enough to get a nice sense of accomplishment when you’re done 🤩 The location and views are also stunning. All in all, a 5 star experience! For any first time climbers, you have nothing to fear, Mon is here!

Mon is a really experienced and kind guide. This is my first try of mountain climbing.He could guide you how to climb and patient to give you break and restart again. I almost failed several times but he kept me going. *If you stay Ao Nang beach, and wanna try climbing at Railay, definitely could come to Mon. This store includes boat to Railay as well but same price as other Climbing Club

Really fun half day climbing in Railay. Mon is an excellent guide to do this with! He has insurance included in the price. There were good safety levels. He was very encouraging on the wall, telling us where to place our hands and feet. Our group had a range of climbing experience and he was able to take us to a variety of routes to allow everyone good climbing time. Would highly recommend!

Amazing experience with Mon & Po for the 2 days of climb. They are really patient and provided useful tips and guidance throughout despite us struggling really hard at 6a+ routes (the rocks can be quite polished so imo gradings are not precise indicator of how hard the routes are) If it is your first time climbing outdoors, look no further cuz you're definitely in good hands!

Decided to go with this company after reading good reviews on google. Entire half day climbing trip went smoothly. My trip had just me and another couple. Price of package includes boat trips. Guide refunded 100baht to us as we wanted to stay in Railay for the rest of the day - so we could use the 100baht to take a boat back on our own.

We love Mon! Although we have experience lead climbing we had been away from home for some time, so decided to sign up for a 3 day course to improve/ refresh our skills and get to know the area. Mon was just what we were looking for; he is chilled, supportive, skilled and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone regardless of your level of climbing ability (we saw him manage new comers to the sport and know he is capable of climbing much higher grades with more technical skill requirements). Thank you Mon you were worth every penny!

Me and my partner booked a half day climb with Karst climbing. Mon (owner) was an awesome guide which included hotel pick up and all rental gear. Had a great half day climbing experience with Mon! He was very friendly, humble and approachable. Being absolute beginners in climbing, he took us to what i assume is the easiest climbs in railay beach, and after 4 climbs, our bodies could take no more so he recommended us to go chill and explore the beach before heading home.

This was my first time climbing outdoors outside of Japan, and I had a very good experience with Karst Climbing. I was contacting them from Japan when I was planning the trip and chose them for their very prompt and honest responses. If I didn't choose Karst I don't think I was able to have the same level of experience as I had during this trip. Mon, the guide from Karst was very helpful in every way especially during the climbing where he gave me the exact advises that I needed. I will definitely choose Karst again for my next trip and hopefully at that time I have entered 7a or above grade. The service of taking the photographs and sharing them afterwards is very nice, I really appreciate it. See you next time!!

I did a full day climbing adventure with Karst and it was one of the best decisions! Mon was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable about rock climbing and the areas we were climbing. He was patient and encouraging. Our group was small and intimate and we really got individual attention for our needs. I'm hoping to home back sometime in the future and do lead training with Karst! I highly recommend Karst climbing if you will be in the Krabi area!

Karst climbing is the best! Mon was great, he set up the perfect climbs for our ability, the pitches were three times higher than the other tour groups on the beach! We got so many climbs in and at two different locations. We had a fantastic day which included a cave trip to a gorgeous viewpoint and one last repel down out of the cave! So much fun!

My partner and I went out with Mon for an all day climbing trip. Mon was fantastic. With great skill and lovely nature, he assessed us pretty quickly and accurately and catered to our capabilities perfectly. And challenged us to make it special. Was an awesome day. My first time outdoor climbing with my partner who has done it before. I’ve got a fear of heights and I was very thankful that Mon was patient and encouraging the entire time - finding routes that suit both our climbing levels; never pushing me beyond what I was comfortable with, and giving me the option to tap out once I was too afraid. It was a great first experience!
