Very sad and disappointed with this property. I was planning celebrate my birthday and found deluxe room/bath with amazing view. During reservation I sent notes information that I’m looking good room. I the morning I called to the property, TO BE SURE, and informed that I’m planning celebrate b-day and I need good and clean room, it was 4 hours before I check in. First impression was good by view from the room but than I found centipede and cockroach in room. For me it is understandable as hotel locate in natural side. But than I found hairs in the room and also died flies. Moreover died flies even was above the bed on balokhin... It is absolutely disgusting and mean that room didn’t prepared at all. In crisis time with low occupancy level management team didn’t find just just simple inspect the room for this special day for me.. Very sad that I can not post this feed back on Booking.com because I already cancel reservation. Double think before chose this place.

The room itself was nice. The view was amazing. I had the most premium room. I wouldn't recommend people stay here purely because you need to get a shuttle to and from your room every time you want to leave. And you often have to wait 5+ minutes for that shuttle. Also the reception tried to charge for silly things. Very stingy.

I’ll start off with saying that all the 1-3 star reviews are fairly accurate. I usually read plenty of reviews before deciding to book. This hotel had plenty of 4-5 stars reviews but I would have to disagree. First we stayed at multiple hotels during our stay in Southwest Thailand. The hotels we stayed at previously all the employees were super friendly and nice. As other reviews have mentioned staff in Fiore seem as if they are being bothered or don’t want to be there. We were on our honeymoon and upgraded to the room with a “view” and jet tub outside. We didn’t have a view and the tub was unusable as the hot water was warm at best and tub didn’t really work well so could not fill quickly. Would have to wait probably an hour for it to fill but by then the water would be cold. The room itself was very nice and spacious. But if you’re like us and like going out at various times into town then this would probably be an inconvenience as you have to call the shuttle constantly. On one occasion we waited 20 minutes before the shuttle arrived. Restaurant they advertised is closed by 3 pm so there is no dinner options after that. You would have to order out, have it delivered to the hotel and then staff would bring it to your room or head into town to eat. The breakfast, which we only had the very first day was not that good to begin with and bees were all over the food and honey. This hotel has the prospect to be a great hotel, but do to service, maintenance and staff “friendliness”, just fell very short from our other stays. I would not recommend it. This has been my longest review ever on any site.

We were on second thoughts about staying here due to the bad reviews. Surprisingly, we had a lovely time in this place for 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. The curtains smelt like they were newly ironed. The staff was very warm, helpful and friendly. We're particular about room cleanliness as we are travelling with a child who has eczema and this one passed the standard. There were some insects at night, naturally, as it sits in the middle of a jungle, but thankfully there were no cockroaches. Just make sure to close the doors as soon as you enter the room and wear insect repellent to avoid mosquito bites. All in all, these little inconveniences outweigh the beauty, comfort and serenity this place can offer. We'll definitely come back!

Very big tropical hotel style, super natural with a lot of animal ( i found a cute dog, bug, butterfly, peacock and last a king cobra snake aside of my room before I check out) The room was great big and clean, air-con was perfectly fine, the view from the room is like a heaven, Jacuzzi not so good, a bit dirty and lack of maintenance ( a lot of lichen come out after open the water) Breakfast was really bad, it's a buffet but not variety, taste bad and look like an overnight food. Staff is average in overall except the drivers was really helpful during check-in and check-out

The shuttle bus to get you up the hill to your room was crazily entertaining. The garden area with butterflies was the nicest part of the hotel. The pool area was okay, only 2 very worn-out sun parasols for ~20 sun beds, and the side of the steps into the pool had algae on, despite seeing the bottom of the pool being cleaned on one of the days. Be very careful of the wooden walkway down from the treetop rooms, someone slipped over on this after it had rained. The treetop room was okay, there is no ‘mountain view’ from it as stated as you are encapsulated in trees. The room smelt of damp which was very noticeable when entering the room but you didn’t notice it after being in the room for a few mins, although my clothes did smell of it once home. The mini-bar was not cold – not that it mattered as there were no alcoholic drinks in it anyway! The mattress (if there was one) was rock solid. There were hot water issues, and the general cleanliness could be improved all-round. There is no alcohol at this hotel but I couldn’t see anywhere that this is mentioned prior to booking! There are ‘mini-bars’ in the rooms and there is a pool-side ‘bar’, none of which have alcohol, using the word bar seems somewhat misleading! Not that it mattered as the pool-side bar was never open in my 4 days there, neither was the coffee bar, and neither was the spa / massage corner. The breakfast is highly disappointing, I am not sure if other positive food reviews left are from people that have never had breakfast before, or whether the breakfast has gone down-hill recently. The best part was the egg server that cooked fresh eggs, and a noodle and a separate chicken with soy and ginger dish, mixing the 2 gave quite a nice Chow-Mein style breakfast. The fruit-juice, is not juice it is squash (cordial), and the rest is not worth mentioning – soggy waffles anyone(?), very disappointing compared to other hotels in the area. The same is true for the dinner, we only ate there on the first night, and decided to not go back again.

This place is well worth a stay. The staff was friendly. The room was nice, clean, and well maintained. The views depend on the room you stay in and are ever changing because you are up in the forest. There is a shuttle from the lobby up to the rooms but if you want to burn some calories a walk up to your room will certainly get your heart rate up. They also offer a shuttle service into Ao Nang center. The view from the pool is great and so is the view from the outlook at the top of the property.

We loved the style of the room. It is created to chill and connect with the nature. It's easily big enough for two. Everything is clean. Our room has a quiet air conditioner which is nice. We were surprised how kind everyone here is. People from the service (especially at the reception) speak english good enough to communicate

Great hotel with couple of areas to improve. We had stayed for 5 nights, we had Mountain View villa. Areas to improve: - Linen must be changed every day (was not done) we had often sand on the bed sheet. - when asked for small pillow we first were offered to pay extra and this is completely wrong. The pillows they have by default are too high and first night wasn’t great. - No alcohol in the pool bar or restaurant (could be a policy of a hotel, but we didn’t see it in description) - Breakfast same every day (could be more choices for this price) - Water in the shower can’t be the same warm, it’s easier cold or hot - Wifi is generally week, lobby had no connection for almost all days we’ve been there. - AC in the room takes 10-15 minutes when first start to start cooling, as we were not ready for the same, first we were shocked as we couldn’t imagining staying without it. Hotel advantages: - pretty cool place with good views. - lots of squirrels, often saw lizards and birds. - room was good - staff polite - good reception with free drinks and cookies - kids loved the place around - pool is really cool (would be great to have some floats for kids, they would love it) Overall decent hotel for this price. Management please have a look at above comments and if you improve it - this would be a game changer ✌️

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The place is huge, so many rooms and all of them in the mountain, we stayed in the Deluxe Cottage (the most simple room) and it was amazing. Great view from the room, a lot of privacy as the cottages are all individual. Pool was great too, just like in the pictures. Great place to chill after a tour day or just spend a whole day here. Staff was amazing too, everybody VERY friendly and nice. The shuttle service to the rooms was great, nothing to complain at all. We used it several times and it always came very fast, most of the times it was already waiting for us when we got to the pick up point. I saw some complaints on the reviews about having to wait too long for them but my experience was great, no wait at all.

This resort is fantastic if you want a peaceful jungle experience. The chalets spread up the hill right into the forest. The pool is nice too. The slight downside to the hills is that they are very very steep, there is a shuttle buggy which can take you to near your chalet, but you'll have to go the last bit to your chalet with your luggage. Staff are very helpful and are around to help with luggage though which makes it easier. Calling for the shuttle buggy is very easy and often comes very quick. I would say this resort isn't so suitable for wheelchair users because of the hills/steps, but if you're wanting an escape type resort, this place is fantastic. Thank you again all.

A very peaceful and chill resort. Rooms are very clean, well design, and relaxing. The resort is very huge and has amazing nature which you can enjoy with your family and friends. Good swimming pool. Great view from most of the rooms. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. There are transportation services to pick you from ur room and send you to lobby/ restaurant/ garden /parking. There is an amazing pathway for going to view points on the top of hotels hill. I really enjoy staying in this resort for 4 days. 7 11 is very close; you can even order food from outside, and they will send it to you. Only a few things can be improved or changed. Rooms need to have slipers/ robes. Breakfast can be a bit improved. It was very good but this type of resort can be better.

The groundskeepers deserve a 10 star rating. However, the rest of the staff needs serious training on accommodation and the service industry. I was absolutely in love with the beautiful scenery, it was everything as advertised. However, the rest of my experience was immediately ruined by the service at this resort. When checking in, I had one of the best rooms in the resort. After ten minutes, the receptionist told me that she needed to change my room- a downgrade, and without any compensation. Interesting. But she couldn’t tell me which room I was downgraded to. This meant I had to wait for two hours. I was unable to order food at the restaurant- they wanted a room number. I was unable to book excursions- they wanted a room number. Instead of being approached, I asked again- they were able to provide a room number and a brief explanation about how to best get around the resort. I tried to book an excursion and was offered elephant riding- a MAJOR ethical concern. Why is Aonang Fiore so behind on the times? Nobody came to clean my room until the 3rd day, regardless they never put new toiletries so I had to use one small bottle of shampoo over a 5 day, 4 night stay between two people. The trays from room service would sit in my room or outside without being picked up- got a little smelly. It is somewhat difficult to get to the rooms and dining area. They offer a breakfast room service delivery to accommodate guests. I placed my order on a card and on the door as instructed by 10PM. I actually placed it at 8PM and when the dinner room service arrived, I showed him my breakfast request. No food arrived the next morning, and the card was still sitting on the door. Why have a service if it is not available?

I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels in my time - we paid £145 for a night here in the jacuzzi suite. Unfortunately we experienced some of the worst service ever - the hotel really shouldn’t be open currently. We of course totally understand covid has been such a difficult time for many - and on this trip even - we’ve stayed in other places and have understood to expect a different level of experience. But this hotel got so much wrong and really should not be treating guests this way. We have a 10 month old baby and nothing was done for him - from when we asked for fruit for breakfast to a transfer with a car seat. The worst thing was upon checkin - no one managed our expectations. So we went to our room where a room service menu was - only to find out when we called that there was absolutely no food available in the hotel (which had promoted 2 restaurants on the website) then Fast forward now to our baby crying and having to go and find a buggy (because we’re stuck at the top of the hill and it’s dangerous to walk) and we ask if they can drive us to any restaurant. The driver refuses without permission and as we go in to check with reception- the buggy driver offloads the buggy and drives off. We’re now furious. We walk out of the hotel looking for food. This place has potential and it’s not any of the individual staff’s fault - just a general feeling of no one knowing what they’re doing at this time - which resulted in a very very disappointing and stressful one night.

Clearly overrated. View from the room was the only good thing. Ok, the room was spacious enough. But not well designed. Lacking here and there esp services. Only the driver and the lady at checking out were friendly. The rest had quite -ve attitude. Breakfast was the worst.

We stayed here 4 nights. The first room we got wasn't really ready when we checked in. Stains on the sheets, bathing robe stained, windows and mirror with a lot of touch marks, the safe wasn't working (batteries empty), air conditioning not working. No pillows on the furniture outside (which on the photos where supposed to be there). There was trash next to the balcony (empty bottle, a box with soup...). They immediately reacted, the safe and the air conditioning was fixed (kind of, only warm wind but better than nothing). Than they offered a new room which was better and apologized. Then there was a storm and the light went out on the balcony. We told the reception but it wasn't fixed during our stay. Also there was no room service on the third day and we don't know why, but we didn't mind that. I understand that there were barely any guests because of COVID and travel restrictions and you can't keep everything up and running for just a few people. Also the pool bar was closed, cafe closed - as I said, understand that part. But for the few guests at least the rooms should be ok. For a 4 star Resort I expect it to be a little more professional. Probably a good place when there are more guests and more staff. For 80€ a night it at least has to be clean. We enjoyed the view from the top, you could watch squirrels in the morning in the trees from the balcony and in the afternoon there were bats roaming around to hang in the higher trees. Staff is friendly.

This resort was the highlight of our entire trip. Aonang Fiore was absolutely magical. Not only did we receive exceptional service, the bungalow we had was outstanding. We were blessed with great weather and each morning walking around the property was absolutely beautiful. The sounds of the birds, the plants and flowers…the infinity pool with a view! We enjoyed every aspect of this beautiful place. They have a cafe near the property that serves tea and coffee. I believe they have zip lining there as well. They can help book excursions too. All in all, with the breakfast, room service and ambience, I would say this place is 10/10. If you are impatient and don’t want to wait for a shuttle to your room from the rest of the grounds (the property is pretty steep) then maybe this isn’t the place for you. We will be back! Very good value resort. No alcohol. Great value resort. The grounds are huge, but they have a shuttle to help you get around. There is a restaurant on site. This is a dry resort, they don’t serve or sell alcohol. The place is surprisingly wild, given how close to town it is. Monkeys, squirrels, and birds frequent the grounds. There are some really well maintained gardens. There is parking on site. The pool is really lovely. Only downside is the pool bar is shut down (again, no alcohol on site). The rooms are large and very well done. I love the aesthetic. It’s about an hour walk to the beach, but there is a seven eleven across the street and some bars and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

The bamboo pods are beautiful and the jungle location is stunning but it comes with some downers - you have to use a shuttle every time you want to leave your room/ go to breakfast etc and to come back in the evening. This got tiring after a few days. Facilities are clean (although expect to see bugs due to location) but we had issues with cleaners not giving us enough beach towels each day which wasn't really something we wanted to worry about. Staff are nice but could be more helpful - they didn't help us book a restaurant reservation and said we can call ourselves (we didn't because paying the charge would probably be the cost of the meal). Don't think we'd come again as we have had better experiences at other hotels.

Best place for couples, but also great location! Located next to many great *local* restaurants, and supermarkets with a 7eleven around the corner. Besides that, amazing service and very affordable and clean cabins! The most authentic resort i have been to in my trip.

TL;DR - peaceful and comfortable experience; lovely rooms, superb staff, excellent facilities, good value. Huge resort, hard to get around on foot. The reception is a nice area with complimentary refreshments, and the restaurant next door. To travel between reception and your room, you will likely need to use the shuttle bus since the resort is so large, so bear this inconvenience in mind if you expect to come and go from the resort often. The room was very comfortable with, amongst other things, a decked outdoor area with chairs, a comfortable bed, a sofa, A/C, a TV, fridge, free drinking water and rain shower. The room was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the shower temperature was very inconsistent, fluctuating between very hot and cold, requiring constant adjusting, and making for a frustrating experience. Reception can be contacted via phone in the room, where you can ask for a shuttle bus to pick you up at your nearest shuttle point. The swimming pool is gorgeous, with an infinity pool view over the resort, deck chairs and umbrellas, and a pool bar close by. The reception staff made the stay particularly memorable, as they were super friendly and so helpful. They kindly looked after some bike keys that a friend lent me, as well as calling my airport shuttle company for me when they didn't turn up on time, and allowed me to leave my bags with them after check-out. The shuttle bus drivers were also very pleasant.

We loved Fiore!! Would highly recommend. Our cabin was clean and perfect. Loved the views and the super friendly staff. Would like the internal transport to be a bit faster but they were always really nice. Great breakfast and average dinner. Massage center was great and cheap. Pool area is also amazing.

The resort has wonderful, stand-alone rooms atop a large, steep hill. There is a complementary shuttle up and down. Each room has a nice, remote feel. The property has a nice garden and a meeting building. The pool has a great view. Breakfast is good. The staff are very polite.

*Staying here at the moment* the resort as a whole is lovely, it has some stunning views and fantastic wildlife around the resort, the rooms are how they look on the photos however they look a lot older once you get here. One thing we weren’t aware of is that this is a Muslim hotel so no alcohol can be purchased which is absolutely fine as if you do like a drink there are plenty of bars around and a seven eleven just over the road. Now the huge problem for myself and my partner is the bed, you may sit on it and at first believe it has a plank of wood protecting the mattress but that is not the case it really is just rock solid, it’s how I imagine sleeping onto of a slab of concrete would feel with absolutely no flexibility in the mattress what so ever, it is categorically the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on and speaking to others in the resort they have said the same!

We stayed in the Jacuzzi Villa. Room great, thank you for decorating the room too! This has so much potential but is lacking the quality service and food/ dining experience. The room , pool and view is fantastic. Food terrible, bland, stale. The drinks for the breakfast is also all covered in bees . Felt like I had stomach poisoning from the chicken I ate so I only had bread and cooked through eggs at the is resort. 1 or 2 days is more than enough. They don’t advertise you have to take a shuttle to the room every time you want to leave or go to or take a 20-30 minute hike… the shuttle drivers bless them work so hard. Overall the pool was great, room great other than that, don’t expect a lot other than some nice photos and videos . They just spend loads of money landscaping the place. Spend more more on quality food, servicing your guests rather than quantity the door.

I stayed in a deluxe normal room. It’s actually super cute with the shape and wooden design inside and fairly spacious. The balcony/ veranda is large and we were lucky to have a great view over the jungle and towards the cliffs. The only issue was that there isn’t much shelter if it’s super sunny or rainy but it didn’t bother me. As many reviewers have already stated, the beds are very hard and this would be one of the main things that lets the resort down. Luckily we had been travelling Thailand for 2 months so had gotten used to this. Some of the rooms have slightly softer beds so if yours is hard you can ask to try others. The pool area is BEAUTS and definitely a highlight. Additionally, the garden area is also super nice to walk around and is magical at night. Yes, you have to get a buggy to take you to your room but if you want a room with a view then this is the trade off. It really wasn’t so bad waiting for the buggy. The staff were SUPER HELPFUL from start to finish and really did their best to help me get a room and answer any questions. The girls on reception and so lovely. We had the food also, actually really good Thai food, especially compared to what some of the restaurants are serving in the town. I would suggest the green curry. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return.

It was a nice experience in the middle of the jungle. The location was near located to the centre and you could walk 10 minutes for nice restaurants in the evening. For the beach it’s better to get a Grab or taxi for 10min drive. We arrived a bit late at the breakfast and unfortunately there were a lot of wasps and bees fleeing over the food and the juices. It also didn’t seem like the staff would do something about it. Furthermore the staff of the reception and the drivers were very friendly and helpful.

Fitting into a mountain environment with abundant foliage the Aonang Fiore is a very good high volume resort. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. There is a sitting area outside the bungalows with jungle views. The rooms are served by frequently running vans that traverse the mountain with passengers. There is a convenient parking lot off the main area that is secure. The staff is courteous and efficient and children friendly. For a heavily touristed beach town the Aonang Fiore offers privacy and good clean service. Recommended

The hotel is located on a steep hill surrounded by amazing greenery, squirrels, birds and butterflies. A place for total relaxation, away from the hectic city life. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Pool is clean and didn’t experience the algae issue mentioned by a previous reviewer. Staff are friendly and breakfast adequate. Would recommend to honeymooners. Elderly may have issues with the steep slope but buggy available to and from rooms to reception.

Personal opinion: for anyone whom like hill view and alot of greens with jacuzzi is the perfect place to be. For families too. Villas: need to better upkeep and ppl whom doesn't like to wait for transport to their villas should book the lowers levels.

Absolutely gorgours resort set into the mountain side... Just make is known that the resort doesn't have any alcohol on site, even though it advertises a pool bar (clearly hasn't been open for a long time) the restaurant on site is also alcohol free... Perfect for the Islamic traveller as its all halal. There are many bars down the road... So don't worry

We stayed here last summer and very much enjoyed our time. We had a beautiful room with a hot tub on the balcony. The resort is very wide spread but they offer a shuttle service to the rooms, which we very much appreciated. Special thanks to the drivers who were always super nice and the very helpful concierge service.

If you want to be set back away from the action in a quite, tropical jungle atmosphere, this it! They provide shuttle service to your bungalow, (because very steep roads), and you can always get a taxi or rent a bike. However, if your up for the hike, you can make your way to the boats, which will take your around to the four touristy island, and do a little snorkeling on the side.

  • 4/5 sumirah s. 1 year ago on Google
Room was amazing, clean and spacious! Staffs were friendly and view was great. We were warned not to leave anything outside our room as there maybe monkeys around! Minus one star because I wasn’t expecting the compound to be so big that you need to either take their pickup truck/buggy or hike up to your room. But the buggy service is 24/7 so you can call them anytime to shuttle you to and fro your room and reception! And it gets really dark at night! Recommended for couples on honeymoon who wants to be away from crowded hotels/resorts.

Amazingly Beautiful - Beyond our Expectations.. We stayed at the top most Jacuzzi villa for a week. We don’t have any regrets on our decision and stay over here. First of all the warm welcome from the front office to all the peoples working over here was astonishing. Golf carts rides to the rooms. Breathtaking views from the villa to the lovely pool and mouthwatering cuisines you will love all the amenities of this place. Overall Satisfied with the stay and looking forward for the next visit. If you are a nature lover you will for sure have a great time over here. Hospitality at its best.

This resort is beyond our expectations in many ways. Staying here means you are gonna be surrounded by the nature. We stayed in the jacuzzi room, the room is very spacious with bamboo wall and comfortable king size bed. Toilet is huge in size with modern design despite the fact that I wished the water current is stronger for the shower. Jacuzzi tub sits at the yard area where you can be close to nature and listen to birds chirping while soaking in the tub. This is a 4-star resort that deserves more attention that comes with affordable rates. It also serves some simple breakfast every morning, and to go in and out you will need Buggy car service as the rooms are built on the hills.
