High-class
but
inexpensive
bar
and
restaurant
in
Ao
Nang,
I
came
here
to
find
my
friend's
old
bar,
Pooky's,
but
found
it
had
been
taken
over
by
new
owners.
It
looked
so
swanky
I
almost
didn't
go
in
as
the
decor
is
really
beautiful
and
look
pricey,
but
I
was
dead
wrong.
I
was
really
surprised
at
the
cheap
prices.
The
owner
was
a
super-friendly
Brit
who
came
from
his
house
to
help
out
when
I
asked
to
watch
the
Australian
Open
and
put
it
on
the
big
screens.
They
have
all
the
sports
channels
and
even
better,
a
massive
brand
new
pool
table,
which
was
free.
Typically
good
food
as
in
most
of
Thailand
and
a
nice
selection
of
good
whisky
like
Auchentoshan,
Old
Pulteney,
and
an
Irish
one
I'd
not
had
before
called
Sextons
I
think.
Real
nice
treat.
It
looks
a
bit
out
of
place
being
so
stylish
in
the
backpacker
area
but
I
had
a
great
time
there
and
would
definitely
go
back.
Big
thanks
to
the
nice
staff
too.
