Yok Kheng

Restaurant Noodle shop

👍👍 One of the most famous street restaurants of Surat Thani among locals. The clear soup noodles there are called “Long Dtong” and noodles with kind of sweet sour sauce are called “Pak Buung Dtai Rao” seem to be their signatures. Pork satay screwers which are sold in front of the restaurant are veryyyy... People often mention rice, noodle, restaurant, sticky, soup, good, noodles, mango, time, pork,

One of the most famous street restaurants of Surat Thani among locals. The clear soup noodles there are called “Long Dtong” and noodles with kind of sweet sour sauce are called “Pak Buung Dtai Rao” seem to be their signatures. Pork satay screwers which are sold in front of the restaurant are veryyyy tasty. They can also be ordered through the restaurant and eaten there. Unfortunately, I didn’t get more space in my stomach to try their mango sticky rice and their desserts.

Locals eat here. Crowded lunch time waiting’ll be longer. Long-Tong (Rice vermicelli noodle with Pork Bone Soup) is the best.

Traditional Thai-Chinese restaurant open from 11:30am-4:30pm but start packing by 4pm. Extremely busy at lunch time and there will be a queue but food arrives really fast. They have 3 main dishes that they're known for: clear pork broth noodle soup, Guay jab (ก๋วยจั๊บ) and morning glory southern style. However, they are known for their mango with sticky rice. The main chefs are the grandmothers with the aunties coming over to take your oder. Delicious and authentic, highly recommended!

One of the famous and oldest noodle shop in SuratThani city. The taste of noodle is okay, because the onus of final seasoning of noodle in the customer; to add fishsauce, lime water, chilli etc. So, if you do not like very spicy Thai noodles (example Tom Yam Kung flavor) , then is the place for you to try. They also serve fresh orange juice. The lady who calculates bill for customers is so good with numbers and calculations (you would beamazed if you could understand a littlenbit of Thai). They also serve sweet Thai desserts with coconut milk.

Open 11.30 AM but recommended yo come early on 10.45. Find the seat and select menu in the check card and advance order. If you come on time you need to wait the queue. Food is tasty! Unbelievable! Mango sticky rice is good!

I had to wait and wait but any international traveller knows that this is a good thing when it comes to restaurants in Asia.. I had the Long tang ?noodle soup And mango sticky rice (best Ive ever had)fresh orange juice on ice, As I'm writing this my stomach is calling me back before it closes At 4.30pm.. Amazing experience the owner a barefoot lady did not stop shouting orders to her staff while I was there (go Gorden Ramsay), they were so busy any productive in the hour I was there I guess they put out over one hundred meals.. My noodle soup was unmatched in Thailand again I was lucky enough to organically stumble into an unforgettable traditional meal with local authentic flavours,,cost 160 baht..hmmm 6 dollars..wow I love this place ..

Nice Satay pork and Kauy Jab (Chinese roll noodles soup) We went at 11:30AM and the restaurant was pretty busy. It took 30-40 minutes before the food arrives. However, you can walk to order Satay pork at the cart which can be served much earlier. I personally recommend Satay pork and Kuay Jab, particularly if you like organs in Kauy Jab.

For me, I love their desserts. Sticky rice with mango and coconut rice with longan. Main dish was so so to me but if you want to try local dishes this is the only one restaurant here.

Totally worth it to try this mix of Chinese and Thai restaurant, in the middle of China town. Surprising food that tastes great. Get the 2 most popular soup dishes.

Just randomly based by there while waiting for the ferry so we went in. The people running that place are super nice. Everything is in thai but somehow I made the lady understand to bring something not spicy. Not knowing what is coming we got soups and thai salad. The soups and the thai salad was absolutely amazing and you pay around 40 baht per dish. Great food experience.

First I recommend Mango Sticky rice, but this menu is a seasonal menu. Secondary “Long Tong” is a shop’s signature noodle, It’s very tasty.

Small but famous restaurant in Suratthani province. Very crowded, recommend to come since opening time 11.30 am. Recommend menu are: 1.Long tong (โล่งโต้ง) is white noodles with clear soup. 2. Pak boong tai round (ผักบุ้งไต่ราว) white noodles with morning glory and special sauce. 3. Sticky rice with mango🌟🌟 I love it

This is a famous traditional restaurant. You can try the local food called "long tong" here. This is also my first time. I feel like it's an ordinary noodle with spare ribs instead of fish or pork balls. "ผักบุ้งไต่ราว" is not really my type, too sweet for me. "ก๋วยจั๊บ" is pretty good😊. Orange juice is nice. Satay is good😉 Mango and sticky rice is highly recommended!😋
