Probably one of the most scenic restaurant I ever came across. Built on mountain facing Hat Yai city, it's a such great beautiful experience to eat here. The food is average and the set up is old but they great service.

Not recommend this place, taste so so , not worth for the price. We total order 7 dishes, after serve two dishes then have to wait 30minut for the rest, even that time only us they serve . What make me hate the most is the waitress there never smile, only showing bad attitude. We pay money for the food and service dude😠

Good ambient, food not fantastic as reviewed. Staff did not greed when patrons walks in and not friendly as what Google reviewed. Photos looks nice and yummy.

Affordable restaurant. Just pick those on menu W fixed price (avoid anything that counts on weight, eg squid). Otherwise nice environment and good food (not tom yam though)

This restaurant is situated on a hilltop. Getting there needs the help of Google Maps for non local diners. The open air dining section offers the view of Hatyai city. It is nice in the evening. The food is acceptable, the service is fast but the prices are a little higher here.

A nice uphill dining place. Located within the forest reserve. Food serve is nice with reasonable price. Skip "pandan chicken" ..not very memorable. Cashew nut stir fried with chicken is a good try. Fried fish cake is also recommended. Nice view of the city and bay. If you dont mind mosquito..do come around evening to look at the sun set view. Need to arrange for transport to go uphill and down.

Very tasty food from the menu, good experience. Didnt like the crab curry though, but the cashew nut chicken and pineapple fried rice is done nicely. Good view at night too, just be sure to bring your own repellant.

Located high above Hat Yai, this is a perfect location for a romantic dinner for two, an intimate setting for just a few close friends, or a fun place for a large party. The staff is amazing and the food is excellent. We will keep this in our "go to" list for future visits to Hat Yai.

Nice quiet restaurant at the top of a hill. Come in the evening before it gets dusk and you can enjoy the view of the town. They have a live singer one man band. Food is generally good and their signature is the German pork trotters.

Price is reasonable for this location. However, the waiters & waitresses need to be more attentive to customers. They were mostly in group chit chatting unless being called to serve . The singer needs to improve as it gives a dull and sad ambiance rather than a lively & energetic one.wasted for such a nice place. Reservation was fast through fb messenger. But the service there isn't really to our satisfaction.

Price is surprising very reasonable for the location. Food taste also yumm ! Just a little salty 🤣 Parking confirm got no worry just drive up follow Waze.

Come for dinner, the killer views of Hadyai skyline at night alone makes your trip worthwhile. The food is authentic, fresh and reasonably priced. The squid in lemon sauce is out of this world. Remember to ask them to hold the chilli unless you are truly ready.

Nice pork knuckle. Food is delicious. Have good view of Hatyai from hill side. Is a little difficult to find the direction as Google map direction is incorrect. Pls turn right (not left) once you drive in from the main road. Is better come in evening to avoid the afternoon sun. Overall very good place for food and view. Price is reasonable. Parking is limited so take note.

Bon Khao Restaurant is located right up the hill inside the Municipal Park Hatyai & is in existence for a very long time. Those days, say maybe 15 years or more ago when you are in Hatyai and you mentioned deep fried pork knuckle, Bon Khao restaurant will definitely be the number 1 choice. I haven't been up to Bon Khao restaurant for quite a long time and this time we came with a couple of friends, which means we can order abit more dishes. Pork knuckle was our no.1 choice, true enough we were not disappointed, it was just simply delicious. Deep fried sea bass was beautifully done and tasted awesome. Overall, I would say Bon Khao did a great job delivering delicious dishes and I would recommend this restaurant after you walked around the shrine further up the hill. Descend to this restaurant to dine and watch the Hatyai city comes alive at night with city lights one by one lighted up. The open air dining area just outside is a relaxing and soothing place to sit and enjoy your food. Service staff here are attentive and anytime willing to turn into photographer should you need help to capture your memories. Price wise fairly reasonable. Nothing beat a natural hilltop ambient with city view and natural cool breeze to bond friendships/family members dining together with delicious thai foods. Good place to come for your own personal experience.

Nice view on the hill overlooking Hat Yai city. Recommend to come before 6pm and reserve a good view table. Deep fried pork leg is a must. Food is served quite fast although restaurant is full.
