Mom's bar is set on Klong Muang beachfront. A nice cozy restaurant and a simple beach bar. Perfect for enjoying lazy days by the beach. Its also ok to go for dip in the water. High tide is around 2pm when the water is great. The staff here are very friendly and seem to bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. They will also arrange for transport to get you to and from your place of stay. The food is delicious! A big variety of seafood is available mostly cooked Thai style and very tasty. Beautiful food presentation too. Highly recommended place and you will not be dissappointed. They also can arrange boat transport to the national park islands for snorkelling, sightseeing and beach activities.

Took a walk along Khlong Muang beach to where there is a cluster of beach bars and restaurants all next to each other. I picked Mom's Bar as there were other customers and also because of the comfortable and shady seating. Very friendly greeting by the people working there. Extensive menu with lots of choice. I chose a fried fish fillet salad with green mango, cashew nut and chilli. It was fabulous, crispy fish, fresh salad with a zingy dressing and heat from the chilli. Food quality was excellent. Location is good too, right on the beach so you get the breeze and views out to the many islands. I would definitely eat here again.
