All in all 4 stars. I first wanted to give 3 stars but the service is excellent. They made everything possible that I could have a late check out so the service is really one of the best. The breakfast is also great. The things I didn’t like were the choice of food at the club millesime which was very little. Also the prices for activities or taxis were too high. But you don’t have to take them you either take grab or book a tour with companies outside the hotel. The rooms are good and spacious but don’t expect anything modern. We had the prestige suite unfortunately with view to the road and limited view to the beach. If you stay in a prestige suite ask for view beach / pool.

Great spot for a holiday. Pool is huge with an adult only section. Service is good... White Lotus has good Indian food. Good cocktails at the bar. If you walk out the gate and turn left, there's a few massage places and restaurants as well as a 7-11. There is a beach that is a 1 min walk across the road that is quiet. You can get Grab drivers at times but otherwise you'll have to order a taxi or get the hotel van.

I would like to thank Sofitel team who supported us during our stay. My friend and I were happy with everything at Sofitel. We love breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. The room is amazing with a beautiful garden view. I don't have any complaints about my stay. I will be back for more nights at Sofitel. Thanks again Sofitel team. You did make my stay wonderful.

It's clear that this hotel has seen better days, and while it may have once deserved its 5-star rating, it now falls short of that standard. The lobby and initial impression of the hotel were impressive, giving the illusion of grandeur. Service, which is a hallmark, was inconsistent. While some staff members were polite and attentive, others appeared disinterested and unengaged. Especially the front desk lady who forced us from desk to desk and she was also unable to suggest any tourist attractions. It felt like there was a lack of attention to detail, something that should be expected from a top-tier establishment. The room, though spacious, had stained and worn-out furniture. The bathroom showed clear signs of age with chipped tiles and a bathtub that looked far from inviting. However, the spa facilities and services were great and refreshing. There were steam rooms, hot tubs, and relaxation areas, providing a variety of options for unwinding. One of the highlights of my visit was the hotel's restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also presented beautifully, and the dining experience was delightful. And their cocktail is a must try. The hotel activities included images of thrilling adventure excursions, pristine beaches, and all the attractive inclusive. Regrettably, upon arrival, we discovered a stark contrast between the hotel's promises and our actual experiences. No beach mat nor butler and the arranged lunch were uneatable. Overcharging for what's offered.

We booked this place after 3 days of trying to find a peppery with a similar rate. I’m currently here for the night as I type this and we booked this place for 3 nights. We thought to extend another if we like it but we’re going to a different hotel now. Pros: - massive property - the pool is the best one ever! So grand - good breakfast - there was a mistake with my meal and the Indian chef (as it was Indian food) was polite and quick to fix it - decent food quantity - plenty to do for kids - nice and quiet - lots of activities Cons: 1. Weird design: - the bathroom has a glass window separation from the room. So if one person goes in at night and puts on the light, the entire room lights up! Such a disturbance for sleep. - the chairs in the balcony have no cushion and are uncomfortable. - such a big property but have to pay double for sea view. - the room needs refurbishment 2. Service - we left 9am to 2pm and left a ‘clean my room’ sign, still the room wasn’t cleaned. - the first day of room cleaning they didn’t pick up any dirty utensils. - you can’t even ask for a glass of water while eating breakfast. The staff just says ‘it’s there in the buffet’. 3. Others - the restaurants shut at 2pm and then you’re left with a limited menu - the cocktails aren’t worth it! We tried 3 different ones and they’re below average. I recommend going to a nearby 7-11 and get a beer. - lots of lizards and insects though I don’t think this is bad as they’re not in the room Pro tips: - instead of paying 120 bhatt for water just take it from the water station by the pool -there’s a super cute restaurant called Baan Thai, about 13 min by walk. Eat there - it’s by the sea, is beautifully decorated, and has good food for half the price. - the excursions by the hotel are expensive so exit from pool and book there. We got a private tour for the price of a group tour which the hotel arranges. Overall, I just feel there’s a lot of scope of improvement on little things that can help.

Had a great stay over the Christmas holiday. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Service was fantastic with the staff being attentive, professional and really great with our kids. The spar services and the food were the highlights of our stay. I highly recommend staying here if you're traveling to Krabi with kids as plenty to keep the entertained

A Magical Retreat for Relaxation I recently visited this place with my girlfriend, and I must say, it was a truly magical experience! The large and clean pool, along with the prompt and efficient service, made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and well-lit, providing a comfortable atmosphere. I had the pleasure of meeting the new Director ( Peter ), who was not only very friendly but also offered me a complimentary tour. It was a delightful moment to unwind after several weeks in the bustling city. The amenities provided were perfect, adding to the overall charm of the place. We're grateful for this wonderful experience, and we're already planning to return in October 2024. Thanks for creating such a memorable stay – we can't wait to be back!

My wife and I had a really lovely week at your Hotel. We did upgrade our room to your Prestige Suite 428 on arrival and this was an excellent decision. Many thanks to Fon for all her really good help and assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed your facilities, restaurants etc and the Ambience of your hotel and the warmth and friendliness of your staff is a fantastic credit to your Management.

One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Pure and her colleagues in the executive lounge made our honeymoon experience very memorable. The hotel is beautifully done up, mixing both French and Thai aesthetic. Beautiful pool with an adults only section. For those planning to explore Krabi, the resort is quite isolated and there aren’t many places to eat at outside of the hotel itself (saying that, would highly recommend White Lotus). We did have some really loud neighbours (not the hotels fault) and did have to complain several times. The bed was also quite hard.

I have no words to describe how beautiful is this hotel and how awesome was my stay ! I stayed in the hotel on my honeymoon there and Sofitel Krabi resort made it unforgettable and unremarkable! They left us speechless! Everything is amazing the hotel location is superb for relaxing and disconnection from the busy city life , Hotel facilities , food , bar , spa and the room ! The pool is very huge where you can have fun and spend the whole day there . Staff are very friendly and helpful , they are so accommodating and they addressed our needs in a very personalised manner , we have requested a late check out and they gave us an open checkout time frame that we checked out at 5:30 PM before our departure back to Bangkok ! Worldwide hotels needs staff like yours ! Im a regular hotelier who visited so many hotels but this hotel wins the best hotel i have ever visited , Thank you Sofitel team for the amazing stay .

We had a really enjoyable and relaxing time here. Compared to other parts of Thailand, this resort is good value for money. The water temperature of the swimming pool was just right, so that you won't get tired even after playing all day. The staff were friendly and the facilities were very well maintained. Thank you to the teachers who had a great time with our children at the Kids Club. Ham, May, Nudeng, Nan, Eve, and I can't remember his names, maybe Mr.posponged? at the front desk? (Sorry) thank you. Thanks to you, I was able to have a pleasant trip. I will visit again.

The hotel is ideally situated away from the main hustle and bustle of Krabi. The hotel.is self is created with only beauty in mind and heart. As soon as you enter the gate, you can feel the calm and under the beauty. The hotel staff and super friendly, always trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend a stay there.

Our hotel room itself wasn't amazing but it was clean and the hotel service was fantastic. Continental breakfast was delicious and loved the variety. The staff was always professional and kind. We loved the ease of staying there. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Family friendly hotel with lots of things to do. The great large pool i nice and large enough to make us feel unbothered by kids. There are adult area pool if you are not into kiddy noise. The staffs are professional and friendly. Everything is neat as expected! I came with a family of six. My mom and aunts love the place. The room is cozy and peaceful. All in good prices. Sunset on the beach upfront is nice. Plus: The architecture is very horizontal not much walking in vertical, nice for elderly to walk around with no caution ❤️ Not too modern and hip to make my mom feel uncomfortable 😂😂 A little complaint: The pool bar is a little understaffed compared to the vastness of the pool in busy days !

I cannot remember if I posted about this Resort before because reviews keeps asking however I was invited over to the pool by some friends. Very, very Nice...humongous pool. I only enjoyed the pool and had a drink so I can't speak to the Resort itself but really nice. Definitely high end with prices to match. Worth considering for a stay at a resort but I tend to find cheaper places. More in my budget- LOL. That is my comment.

After being picked up from Krabi airport the drive takes about 40 mins to the hotel. The staff are very friendly and make the stay all that much better. The lobby area is open and great for photos. Our room was not ready however we were taken to the club. Once our room was ready it was a long walk to our upgraded suite. The suite is a little tired and ready for an upgrade. However they are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area is one of the largest that I’ve seen. Plenty of space with a no kids zone. We had a great stay and are looking forward to coming back. Thank you to all the staff. You won’t be disappointed when you book this Sofitel hotel.

In a nutshell, Sofitel Krabi is located in a beautiful location that is sea front-facing and has a golf range. I believe it has Thailand's largest pool in a resort with a magnificent view. The people in the hotel are the biggest asset and they are the true customer service superstar who turns moments into memories. I strongly recommend this beautiful resort for family with young children and all other type of travellers who want to escape city life and want relaxation.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Pros: Room was spacious and clean Food was delicious Location was great, you can walk straight to the beach and onto the speedboat for excursions Service by most of the staff was wonderful, so friendly and accommodating Cons: Room was outdated but they keep it very clean Food options were limited whenever an event was taking place Some staff clearly didn’t want to be working One star off because we ordered a car service from/to airport and the guy who picked us up was outsourced and incredibly unprofessional. Our ride to the airport was so much better.

Recently stayed at this wonderful resort and though the weather for my trip wasn't so fantastic the staff and the experience was. The cocktails were fantastic and I take my hat's of to the bar manager affectionately refereed to as "The viking" for making one off cocktails that followed his mood and hit the spot nicely. Will be back. Worth doing a whole walk of the pool from one hour to the other which will take a good hour. Highly recommend this as the place to stay in Krabi.

Absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful hotel. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well-appointed, gardens are gorgeous and the food was consistently excellent. Most outstanding though was the incredible staff, so kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Best service I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. The resort is located opposite a beautiful beach, with long boat tours to local islands right on your doorstep. The pool is stunning, with an amazing poolside bar, again with lovely staff. The food highlight for me was the White Lotus restaurant, I kept coming back night after night as the food was amazing and the wait staff so excellent! Can’t wait to return, thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

My family and I stayed at Sofitel Krabi for a short festive holiday. The experience at the hotel was relaxing and truly enjoyable. Various resort activities were provided to ensure that we could fully savor our holiday. We indulged in the swimming pool, Thai and Italian restaurants, as well as the poolside restaurant. Tennis was also a fantastic activity during our stay here
