Great place. Beautiful pool and beachfront location. Friendly staff excellent cocktails sunset view, nice, spacious well equipped rooms. Away from much Krabi hubbub but close to many excellent restaurants and the on site food preparation very good. The only possible downside is many steps for disabled folks. I would come back without hesitation

One of the most stunning resorts I've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, comfy and quiet and the food in the restaurant was the best that we had in the whole of Krabi. Waking up to the sea view, surrounded by a jungle of gorgeous plants was pure magic and felt like being in paradise. The staff are warm and genuinely friendly, always going the extra mile for their guests. The first time we had breakfast there, I mentioned that I liked spicy food and so from that point on every time we arrived to eat, there would be a bowl of freshly chopped chillies waiting for me. Even the chef himself came out to meet his customers and make sure we were all happy with everything. I really can't fault the place and the staff. We were so sad to leave but can't wait to return.

Absolutely outstanding 5* Having stayed in many hotels in South East Asia, this is one of my absolute favourites. The service is phenomenal with kind staff who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Spotlessly clean, the grounds are a sanctuary perched directly beside the beautiful sandy beach. The food is delicious and plentiful, cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Fantastic experience!

This resort might not have the best spot on the beach. The beach is rather rocky but you can definitely walk along the beach to enjoy a sandier spot nearby. The resort has got everything you need from a beach resort. The ambience is romantic, and the staff are very friendly. I did not encounter any staff who made me feel unwelcome or that I was being a trouble in any way. The restaurant prices are not that different from the restaurants nearby, but the menu is a little limited if you have stayed there for a few nights already. There are plenty of steps to climb up and down from the villa to the restaurant, pool, and beach, so it may not very suitable of the elderly with limited mobility. Our standard villa is spacious and spotless. A very enjoyable experience overall.

We loved this place so much that it warrants a in depth review. Location:This lovely resort is tucked away in a quiet corner of Krabi, but still accessible to all the more touristy areas by a 15 minute taxi. The resort is located on the main road, with lovely local restaurants ( Baitong is an incredible Thai place 2 minutes away from the resort), massage parlours and convenience stores . The resort: the resort has a very unique design that ensures all rooms feel very private. It’s got a lot of greenery amidst the buildings - feels like living in a tropical forest. The rooms: the rooms are spacious, very clean and tidy. The bed is firm, the ac is cold and the bathroom has all amenities like tooth brushes , soap , lotion, shaving cream etc. The highlight of the accommodation tho is the lovely staff who are ever so attentive and willing to support. The beach overlooking the resort is dependent on tides, so swimming in the ocean might be a bit limited but the pool makes up for it. We asked the staff to organise a day trip to hong island and it was an easy experience being directly picked up by a long tail boat from the hotel. We honestly cannot wait to go back ! We loved I

Beautiful Hotel in a garden-like ground. Rooms are very nice, however some maintenance would be a good idea. (Go for the seaview rooms. More light and more privacy) Great breakfast and very nice restaurants in the area, if you like to eat somewhere else. Beaches are also nice with a great sunset.

Nakamanda Resort & Spa customer service is excellent! From the enquiries to the reservation to the actual stay was all smooth and fuss free. All the staff were very friendly and service oriented. Our jacuzzi villa was beautiful and romantic. The resort has a excellent view overlooking the beach. The front desk staff was also very accommodating and efficient in booking of our island hopping boat tour. They were able to change the timing of our tour at the last minute due to the rainy weather. The food were also delicious and generous portion. We enjoyed our vacation at Nakamanda and will definitely come back again.

We LOVE this hotel soooo much !! It was really nice place to stay relaxing and calm. Nice people, not new but good atmosphere, beautiful green, large pool, and delicious modern Thailand foods with tasty cocktails are there. We can go to a cute small island by walk from here, interesting. Next to this hotel, there are long long super nice two beaches. We can also take islands hopping tour from here if you want. Staying here was brilliant experience for us in Krabi. But, there are no escalator nor elevator here. If you don't mind, it's OK !!

We loved this place. The villa was very spacious, surrounded by lush forest, clean and simple, yet stylish. The food was very good and the price fair. However the best thing here is the staff, very attentive and kind. We also recommend going island hoping with Bia, he has a long tail boat on the beachfront. He was so kind and did everything he could so we can have the best experience!

Good resort far from the madding crowd. They have excellent service and were quite accommodating for us vegetarians. Breakfast had minimal options, but they made a special veg dish for us when asked. They helped arrange the activities around Krabi as well. Just need to get used to the steps at the resort to go down and up from the room to the restaurant, but that's a small price in the bigger picture. The room was clean and spacious with a big bathroom. Would definitely recommend! 😀

The Nakamanda will be one of those hotels we come back to repeatedly. When you think of the best of Thai hospitality, the Nakamanda embodies this and more. The hotel is an incredibly calming experience; every touch point is met with warmth and elegance. We loved the banana roti and soy lattes at the sea front terrace in the morning. The nearby restaurants were fantastic, we took the kayak out one day and explored the island opposite and the Happy Hour cocktails were an added bonus. The rooms were incredibly spacious and clean. The hotel has aged as expected, but the decor and architecture of the hotel has maintained a feeling of luxury and zen. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it by an extra night. Por at reception was fantastic at arranging the logistics of our future hotels and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Thank you for the most magical stay!

I looooooved staying here! This was the best resort, best service and best bed we slept in throughout our trip in Thailand and cambodia. The view from our room was incredible. The gentleman at the pool area made me a local herbal paste to put on my jellyfish sting when he found out I had been stung by multiple jellyfish. I didn't want to leave. Tip: skip the western breakfasts, the Thai options are MUCH better!

I absolutely loved this gem of a hotel - it's so serene and peaceful and the rooms are spacious and unique. The staff were so friendly - especially at the restaurant! The pool is so beautiful and expansive and the water was really soft. This is a great location if you want to have a quiet vacation as the hotel has it's own stretch of beach. It's also easily walkable to areas with more restaurants. I loved it.

It's a wonderfull resort in Krabi. The people are extremely warm and would go to length to help you. Special mention for Ms Paula n Ms Chu for guiding us. We are Vegetrainian & getting it in hotel is difficult but the chef made special dinner n breakfast only Veg. We all loved N appreciated. Hotels should be in ur list the views fron the room was wonderful to say the least.

Private beach by the resort's pool. In morning when tide is low, u can see interesting crabs n marine life. By mid day, sea is a beautiful sight outside of our villa. We stay at upper villa. Room is nice, cosy and comfortable for 2 . Friends stayed at pool villa which has a private jacuzzi , pool n living room area where we can gather to chat .. it is low season so resort was not full. all staff are friendly n nice, speaks good English . Chef cooked up a nice bbq seafood for us. We are all elated .definitely come back w friends n family

Excellent hotel with a very friendly and professional team. Check-in was very quick and smooth and we were welcomed with a special anniversary greeting in our room, which was large, comfortable and close to the beach. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the pool area and garden are lovely. The rooms are very private but could use an update, but overall it’s great value for money and you won’t be disappointed. We would stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay here! It was more than worth the price. Clean, friendly staff, great location right on the beach, and a really relaxed vibe. The onsite restaurant was good food and really convenient. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely be back!

I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is so beautiful that you can stay all the time just at their beach. The tide comes and goes. Boats pass by and birds sing. It is a real perfect location. The rooms are very nice and large. With two tubs, a bathing tub and a shower. Whirlpool if you pay for it. The AC was noisy thought. In front of the room you get another place to chill. Very nice food and kind staff. One downer is that there are so many stairs. From my room it's a short walk to the beach but it's more than 50 stair steps and they are steep. I don't think a wheelchair would be possible at all.

We are very happy with our stay here. The resort and the room is very clean and neat and smell so good when you walk in. staffs are friendly and very accommodating. The place is located next to the beach which is very quiet. A perfect place to be with family and loved ones. Food is very good and tasty. I love how they are always open to feedback. Overall I had a pleasant stay! And would definitely recommend everyone to come.

Very nice place. It a bit secluded and not too busy. Has only 40 rooms and the a fantastic spot for sunset.

Very nice hotel with heart full service. Direct access from pool to sea and good location swim and walking. Room is clean and good sea view from upper villa. Terrace space is good for relax. Restaurant provide good food and different buffe menu in breakfast, when I stay 3 days. Good stay with family and I would like to stay again.

Very peaceful, just what was needed to relax and unwind. Incredibly attentive staff. Using covid time to update and renovate which is good. Pool setting on the beach was perfect. Lots of great views and things to do locally.

Peaceful and relaxing time in Nakamanda boutique resort. Beautiful bungalows with bery good service and friendly staff. Perfect for quiet holidays, 10 minutes drive away from Ao Nang beach and its lively night market and pier to stunning Riley beach. There are few restaurants and bar on the beach nearby that are worth trying.
