Wow!
The
86
Bar
and
Restaurant
is
a
lively
place
on
a
Monday
evening.
I
might
refer
to
it
as
the
"Samorphrong
Social
Club"
-
the
restaurant
is
packed
with
local
foreigners
looking
very
much
"Huahin
Casual".
There
is
a
friendly
vibe
and
the
Thai
service
is
excellent.
We
ordered
Yum
Woon
Sen,
Moo
Sam
Chan
(Crispy
Pork)
fried
in
fish
sauce
with
spicy
"Jim
Jaew"
dipping
sauce
and
Som
Tam
Thai.
The
flavours
were
excellent
and
the
spice
level
is
accurate
per
request.
I
actually
remembered
to
take
photos
of
the
crispy
pork
and
the
Som
Tam
although
I
had
devoured
about
20%
of
the
pork.
Although
the
menu
is
a
bit
limited,
the
portion
size
and
value
for
price
is
pretty
good.
Beers
are
clandestinely
quaffed
in
aluminum
thermos
containers
to
throw
off
the
local
constabulary.
My
only
complaint
is
that
I
became
a
feast
for
ravenous
mosquitoes.
All
in
all,
we
had
a
nice
experience
here
and
we
hope
to
return.
