CM Highlands is tucked away in the mountains and it is a bit of a drive to get there. Having said that, the golf course was awesome, greens played slick and the fairways were pristine. Definitely worth a visit if you are into golf!

Located in a remote destination in Chiang Mai about 40-50 mins away from Chiang Mai International Airport. The resort is very calm and silent providing a relaxed atmosphere. If you are tired of all the noise and digital interference, this is the place to go and practice your golf skills. There is no separate reception desk for the resort villas. Everything (check-in and check-out) is handled via the pro shop at the club house. Everything closes at 18:00 (19:00 the latest) so be aware of this and prepare early for water, drinks and food. If you want your laundry done, contact housekeeping. Not the pro shop. The resort villas are clean and have barely any insects inside the rooms, which was a pleasant surprise considering the villas are located in a jungle like environment. No mosquitos inside the rooms so zero bites during my 5-day stay. Guess our gecko friends did their job well. The pool (also closes at 18:00) is also very relaxing with max depth of 2-meter (if I am not mistaken). Water temperature is just perfect! Highly recommend checking out the spa after 18 holes as they are awesome!!! Prices can be a bit high but it's really worth paying a visit. Foot massage, aroma oil massage... they are all great!!! Golf course is a bit challenging but fun to play. If you are a beginner, you will struggle a bit. Caddies are also great. Lacking a bit of a language skill but nothing serious.

It was nice to play at a golf course that is in a natural mountainous setting. It was in the month of January where the morning temperature was18 degrees C and could go up to 30 degrees C. The was no cloud. It can be very hot in the afternoon and the sun can be very strong. Whenever possible, we kept the buggy in the shade, where it was cooler. The fairways and green were in good condition. My caddy was knowledgeable and cheerful. On the whole, it was a pleasant experience.

I'm a 7 HC and thought the course was tough. The greens are elevated and were super slow like 6 or 7 on the stimpmeter. Caddies were polite and respectful but not much help. Beautiful countryside but expensive.

Superb golf course. Great greens and fairways. Very friendly staff. Only gripe restaurant shuts too early at 7pm if stay in villas which are very well appointed

The courses layout is nice. Fairway is good. However the green is about 7.5-8 instead of 9. Kind of slow. In fact most of green in Chiangmai are slow.

Golf course was in good condition but a bit soft due to wet season. The greens where good, not too fast but true.
