Place is good. Beds are comfy and nights are fun. Except the one unfriendly bar staff. Gave him 1000 baht then told me I only gave him 100 and shorted my change. He then went on about how he does it on purpose all the time. Next time ordering drinks I made sure he gave me exact change and he told me to go f myself. Nice.

Rooms were great but the best bit of this hostel was the Staff! A really comfortable hostel with small rooms. Quiet rooms despite the name but lively bar area. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Definitely a nice atmosphere. Room and bathroom were clean. Definitely glad we decided to stay here :)

Pros: Good party hostel. Good for meeting people. Very clean. Good food. Cons: almost double the price of most other hostels, can only drink food and drink bought in bar which is double the price of local shops. No free breakfast in spite if expensive price. Don't go here if you want a decent night sleep. Overall an enjoyable experience but you could get better value for money if you went elsewhere.

I arrived today after I booked a 3 nights staying via booking and the place was closed. Not even a message to advise me that the hostel is no longer open and I even paid in advance and amount is not refundable. Shame!

If you care about people, please do not stay at this hostel! Owned by a sociopath that abuses and uses all the local staff! He does not pay staff and is a disgrace to the earth! TLDR: Slumber Party Hostel closed, so you’re booking Bodega Social Hostel which seems like a social hostel that’s past its party prime Pros: no one there so you can get a whole room to yourself, relatively clean bed, very friendly staff, AC is very good in the room Cons: not the right hostel on sites like Agoda, no social aspect whatsoever even though there’s constant music and a pool in the lobby, laundry services are subpar

Advertised as a party hostel but no well-organised events. Enjoyed the social side of it but that was only due to the fun people there at the same time. Most of all the staff were rude and unfriendly, especially the female manager. She was condescending and unhelpful.

First time writing this, but would absolutly not recommend! The staff is rude or doesn't care. We stayed six nights and had to ask three times to get our bin changed (no paper in the toilet). So obviously no cleaning as well in the bathrooms in our dorm for 6 nights. To be fair, no cleaning is ok, just wierd cause every other place we stayed in, had daily cleaning (And we are often staying in party hostels). In addition, don't expect any party. We stayed there during songkran and even then there was nothing going on.

The host Tersia from South Africa originally was amazing! Made this place for me cause the location is a bit difficult to find for a first timer and too close to neighbours to crank up the music, however Tersia was good at making the best of what we had. Great with people, very knowledgeable and knows how to make everyone have a great time. If you’re coming to Chiang Mai this is the place to stay, it’s central, clean and safe.

The hostel is very clean and the reception área is cool and with music almost all day. Good vibes here. 4 beds dormitory are more than ok and with private bathroom. We didnt feel as a party hostel when we stayed there.

Lovely polite friendly amazing staff, nice clean rooms and perfect facilities such as a cool pool and pingpong, a nice bar and sociable atmosphere. Also in a great location, would definitely stay next time I’m in Chiang Mai!!!

What an amazing hostel to stay in! Super clean, so much fun during the nights, endless games to keep you entertained! Amazing staff! Particularly Sebastian and Mung! I spent a wonderful time in this hostel, many activities are proposed, the staff is smiling and always ready to help, the prices of the restaurant and the bar are affordable and very good. I thank you again for this stay!

Great staff. As soon as u walk in they are vibrantly greeting u. Want a drink? They love serving u up. They also can help u organize many activities in the area and even transport to other cities. Great people, comfortable rooms and beds. 290 baht in a 4 bed shared room. THEY LOVE TO PARTY...

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location and fun environment. We met a lot of really cool people here. It’s easy to walk to the Main Street in Chang Mai, but a motorbike rental is close if you need to get somewhere further. The hostel also serves great curry.

I just loved this place! The atmosphere is great! Very easy to make friends with other travellers. There was a bar and a cafe in the reception area. The lady at reception desk was great with booking tours and bus tickets. Each room had one bathroom. The shower was in the same area as the sink and toilet so I really hated that the floor was always wet and dirty. You need to have your own soap and shampoo. AC was great and could be used any time. Bed was comfy and had its own light and outlet station. I wished it had privacy curtains as well.

This was hands down one of my favourite hostels! We stayed at the older location and it was our first stop in Thailand, but we loved the hostel so much that we continued to stay at the chain of Bodega hostels all throughout Thailand. Want to give a huge shout out to Sado and Julia, they were phenomenal. Unfortunately we did not get the name of the other employees but everyone, ranging from front desk to bartenders and even the cleaning staff. Everyone was so kind, lively, and just an awesome time to be around. If you want to meet a great group of people, you love to party and are down for a great atmosphere this is the place for you. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms and facilities were clean. There is laundry service and food available at the hostel as well. Honestly loved this place and their staff! Would love to stay here again.
