Not only were the rooms at Iwulai Hotel impeccably clean, but traveling with a group of five was a breeze thanks to the comfortable accommodations. We were thrilled to discover a vibrant night market just a stone's throw away, offering a delightful array of local treasures and street food to explore in the evenings. And one must not miss the opportunity to visit the stunning Wat Sri Suphan, a nearby temple that's a true marvel of craftsmanship and culture. All in all, our stay at Iwulai Hotel in Chiang Mai was a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and cultural immersion.

The staff tried to steal from us! Staff entered the room without knocking when the "Do not disturb" light was on, and then ran away when he didn't realize I was in the bathroom. Then, of course they said it was a mistake. My family was eating downstairs but I had to make an emergency bathroom trip, so they weren't expecting me to be there. Shady! Don't trust this place....

Perfect place to stay for a couple of days. The service is perfect. Everything what you want to visit is around. If you need a scooter you can ask the receptionist to arrange it for you. They charge the same costs than in the city.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel while exploring Chiang Mai and we really enjoyed it. It is conveniently located, quite enough and very clean. Varied and generous breakfast and full access to fresh water and breakfast leftovers (mainly sweets and fresh fruit) all day long. Shared space are big and sober, not only the small swimming pool but also the lounge and breakfast area. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful, truly lovely and discreet. Large bathroom with window, cosy balcony and comfy bed with air conditioning and mini fridge filled with lots of GLASS water bottles. Sustainability is there for ones in Thailand 🙌 A big plus for the laundry service the hotel takes care of for guests, at a super fair price. Recommended big time! Thanks for the great hospitality!

Wonderful hotel...Close to 7/11 and cafes. 1.5 km from the night market and 400m from the street food point....Superb breakfast buffet with many options. They arrange taxis for you if you ask for . 24hrs complementary snacks(tea, coffee, juice, biscuit and fruits). Their behaviour is really up to heaven. They are very polite and greet you every time they see you. The pool is also really cool and so are the rooms.

A lovely hotel quietly located off a main street. The staff are wonderful, the pool is lovely and breakfast is delicious. This is really a perfect hotel and thoroughly recommended. It is also excellent value for money.

10/10 Recommend! Everything about this place is lovely. 10 minute walk from the old town and situated in a quiet area. Saturday night street market right outside the hotel but isn't so loud that you can't sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is on point. Really good coffee available all day everyday. Rooms are comfy and get cleaned every day if you would like. Just genuinely feel at home in this hotel

We had a lovely stay here for four nights and would gladly have stayed longer. Breakfast is great, staff are really nice, location is really convenient. The freely available water, coffee and snacks is a real added bonus. Would definitely stay again

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at by far. Stayed at the hotel 2 times and would go back again. The staff are lovely and super helpful. Rooms are clean not to mention the breakfast is delicious. They have free water already in the fridge which is nice and easy to take on your way out. Nice location and very spacious in side. Would 100% stay again and recommend to others

Great place, clean, confortable, very close to the city center, and most important calm. Except for the friday evening, but night market is so cool, don't forget to visit the Silver Temple (100 meters from there)

Services not even some 5 Stars Hotel can provide. Great Staff, 24 hrs free coffee n bottles water n at times various types of fruits available too. Room decently large for d price we paid. I wished d patio near d pool r a little cleaner. We definitely will come back.

Been here three times and still choose this place as it was a very strategic location. Saturday night market is right in front of the hotel..staff are super helpful and friendly. Unlimited bottled water and fresh coffee available..

Amazing hotel! We stayed here for almost 2 weeks. The rooms are fine… nothing too special but the staff were incredible!! Pool is clean and breakfast is different everyday and absolutely delicious. I work remote so the wifi was great and one day the wifi wasn’t working because of a storm so they sent us to nearby sister hotel. Close by is silver temple, Saturday walking street, and weave artisan society (amazing coffee, cool coworking space, and chocolate factory). About 12 minute walking to city but 20 minutes to 3 kings. Good location but not super central. 100% would recommend.

Comfortable hotel close to the center. Very comfortable beds. Nice pool but cold water for January. Staff was very friendly. We had a problem with air condition - they offered us a new room and give a some money back because of it. Photos in booking are better than they look like.

Please ask Peaw to help us with some things this time. She is very professional and always smiles kindly. She is a very good employee. Her cooking skills are also very good. The atmosphere of the hotel is very good. I will stay again next time

I had an fantastic breakfast at the hotel and it was the best one I've had at any hotel I've stayed at. The staff were very helpful and accommodating during the breakfast session, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel's location was also very convenient and made it easy to access local attractions. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

What an amazing hotel! We stayed here for 1 night, then came back 3 separate times in the space of three weeks. We loved it here! They do an amazing breakfast which changes each day and they prepare fresh fruit for you. You get free drinking water from the fridge. The pool is lovely. The staff are incredible, they are very hard working, do so much for you and are always more than happy to help. The hotel is in a good location if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the centre. We will definitely be returning here if we go back to Chaing Mai!

Great location, very clean and comfortable rooms. Zero plastic waste, very quiet despite of being near to a busy street. Beautiful set up.

We stayed here 3 nights and the staff were super nice, always friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was good and with a variety of styles and sweet options. The room as simple but very clean and spacious. The location is very close to the city center and to the night market.

My third one-night stay at this little gem five minutes walk from the old city gate, and each time it is a delight. The staff are super friendly, helpful and efficient, and the rooms have everything you need. Breakfast is fantastic, and the lobby has 24-hour chilled water and (very good) coffee available. The ground floor rooms with a little patio are great as you can sit outside if you want to smoke, for example. The lobby is the centre of activity, with the small swimming pool just off to one side. It all creates a great atmosphere of modernity and chic, but simple, style. And the hotel (unlike many budget offerings in Thailand) has been well-maintained since I first stayed over a year ago. It's hard to think of a better place for a stopover en route to somewhere else, or as a base if you plans in Chiang Mai have you out every day sightseeing in the area. Maybe if you want to chill out by a pool every day and relax, you may want to stretch the budget to a larger hotel with a bigger range of recreational options, but I shall certainly be back here again on future trips to CM

What can I possibly say about this hotel, it was AMAZING. from location to cleanliness and the WONDERFUL staff, everything was perfect! This hotel was built two years ago with a very modern decor. The pool area is so warm and cozy, even though you're in the city center. There is a ton of green around the hotel and it is walking distance to everything, location was beyond perfect. (10 mins from airport, 10-15 min walk to all of Chiang Mai's beauty). Lastly, the staff was so kind and took care of all of our requests. With our early morning flight leaving Chiang Mai, they went above and beyond to get us transportation since the cabs do not run before 6am. If I can give this place more than 5⭐ I definitely would!! Hands down a place to stay!!!

Nothing bad to say about this gem. Amazing service, cheap and clean rooms, very helpful staff, breakfast and unlimited cold water bottles included, modern look and feel, nice pool area, the list goes on. Four months later and we still talk about our experience in this hotel. After our check out we went to do sightseeing around the city and asked if we could leave our bags. Not only did the hotel staff offer to store them in the secured baggage locker area but upon return they offered us fresh towels for pool use and later called us a cab to the airport. We weren't even guests of the hotel anymore and still they gave us 10/10 service.

These people are so genuine and nice. I booked my hotel for the wrong week...so there I was in the middle of Chang Mai with nowhere to stay. Thankfully the Manager (she might have been the owner) was opening up another hotel down the street. She opened up a room and let me stay there for free! They also gave us water and breakfast for two days. I was so thankful. The rooms are great, breakfast was great, and the staff is great. They are perfectly located for the large night marked too! Thanks again!! Side note: the beds are soft/standard. If you are American like me then you will love this place.

We stayed for three nights and the staffs had been helpful and friendly during our stay. The breakfast was surprisingly good. They provided local Thai food as well as bread, salad, and yogurt.. many varieties were provided and were delicious! The room was not perfectly clean ( spot stain on our blanket and towel) however it is still a overall nice accommodation to stay at. The hotel is located outside of South Gate but is still accessible for all the main attraction.

I honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough, we originally booked for 2 nights but extended for 3 more because we had such a lovely experience here. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t of been more helpful. The room was clean and we had fresh towels, soap Etc every day. Breakfast was cooked fresh to your liking with lots of fruit and cake also there was unlimited water. Would 100% stay here again!
