Restaurant Bed and breakfast Sauna

😠 I did come for the sauna /spa. No sauna, only a steam cabin that smelled like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. Dirty showers & rest facilities. People often mention stay, hotel, staff, sauna, friendly, good, time, pool, massage,

In a nutshell, this hotel is Not ready to accept guests. The water was often shut off, rarely was there warm water, never hot. The water pressure was extremely low. The building is very old and run down. It appears that it’s been years since it’s been fixed up. Smells moldy and is very dark. Upon check in , they asked for payment in full in cash. They said that their credit card machine was down. We did not want to pay in cash and asked them to fix their machine. On check out the machine was still broken. After much back and forth they got the machine working but delayed our check out. We allowed enough time or we could have missed our flight. Also, they charged a 3% fee on top of the bill to use a CC. Sauna/spa area is dirty and in poor repair. Smells moldy and looks very run down. Have stayed here in the past. Has gone downhill significantly. Seems like no one cares to take responsibility for the running of this hotel

During my stay in November this was a nice and quiet guesthouse to stay in Chiang Mai. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the guy who makes breakfast. As often, places like theses would need some proper renovation in some areas, but my room was clean and tidy, daily housekeeping kept it that way. I would have loved some more sun during the day, the trees by the pool give a lot of shade. When the sauna opens it gets crowded. The surrounding garden is beautiful and the location by the river is peaceful and gives you the feeling of not being in a city.

I recently stayed at Club One Seven in Chiang Mai and it was fantastic! The hotel's location was great. While it was a bit of a walk to the Night Market, there were plenty of delicious restaurants nearby. I also loved exploring the local food market across the bridge. Getting around was easy too, as the staff helped me arrange transportation whenever I needed it. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying the peaceful riverside patio in the mornings. I could watch the fishermen, squirrels, and birds while starting my day in a serene setting. Club One Seven had a unique and authentic atmosphere. It felt like staying in a traditional Thai house, which added to the overall experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. If you're looking for a gay boutique hotel that offers a personalized Thai experience, I highly recommend Club One Seven. It's a relaxing and friendly place where you can immerse yourself in the local culture. I can't wait to go back and create more amazing memories there!

Stayed here in April 2017. Received a warm welcome and shown the facilities. Room was very clean and tidy, equipped to a good hotel standard; Breakfast and unlimited WiFi was included in the booking price Meals were to a good standard and the bar was reasonably stocked with choices. Enjoyed dining at night outside on the deck beside the River Ping but make sure you have insect repellent at night as the mozzies can be quite active at nightfall. Whilst the accommodation was an aspect of the place the sauna and pool activities, which were busy at times, did not intrude on the quiet ambience of our stay. Used the pool a lot and it was maintained and very clean. For house guests there was no pool closure times which was great when nights were hot and a dip at midnight was available. Getting transport around Chiang Mai was aided by excellent advice from the staff. Generally handy to most gay places to visit once you have mastered the transport system at the best price available means you can save a lot.. Not too far from the airport. Overall a good stay. Will be back again. . .

Disappointed with this hotel, small dark room, although the place had many empty rooms, to upgrade they wanted an extra £20 ,per night, a lack of service around the bar area, pool dirty. Not a good experience so did not stay more than an hour, checked into a fabulous hotel near the night market cheaper than the upgrade price.

I have to say I just had the worst massage ever at Club One Seven. It has all the potentials to be good, I was trying to be positive but the massage I had was just terrible. The masseur seemed like he was forced to be there. I could forgive this since he smiled, and was actually nice. But the massage was just terrible in many ways. The masseur clearly didn’t know what he was doing, and in dire need of proper training. I came out of the massage with aching muscles all over my body. He basically just touched my body with his hands without pressure before I asked him to press harder. He did, but only at strange points and ended up giving me more pain. He didn’t even care the positions of my joints when he pressed the body parts and I shouted and my body involuntary reacted against his presses many times throughout the agonising torture session. For the first time I seriously was thinking of asking him to stop altogether but I surprisingly managed to brace through it, while thinking I should write a long review about this when I am home I couldn’t tell you enough to avoid this place for a massage. Sauna and guesthouse might be different but I just left after the massage, too disappointed to stay longer.

It was a great time there. Located in a serene part of Chiang Mai. The place was quite spacious on the inside even though you might not have enough car park. Friendly staff, clean locker rooms and bathroom. The heat from the sauna wasn't quite hot enough, maybe it could be hotter but I didn't request. Didn't see no condom or lube dispenser especially for those who went there for just sex. I hated that I had to pay extra for a bigger towel. Swimming pool looked tempting but it was 17 degrees so no way I was gonna get in. Overall it's a pretty descent place. Just ask for things incase they are not where you'd expect them to be. I really didn't ask for much so don't judge them completely from my negative comments.

Had more fun staying at the dorms compared to the sauna which was understandably creaky as it's an old building

As a solo traveler, it is a nice guesthouse to stay. I was there for three nights. I found some lovely staffs there, especially the staff who prepared the breakfast, the breakfast is surprisingly good and he’s very friendly and willing to help if you got any questions. And the manager is always smiling whenever I see him. I didn’t smell any bad stuff like some people said. But I did find the shower in my room is kinda weak.. overall it’s a great place to stay and relax.
