An excellent hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. The staff are very kind and attentive. Included breakfast is limited but tasty and there are a lot of additional options nearby if you are interested. The basic room was large and very clean although it would have been nice to have a deadbolt and ensure the in room safe is bolted down (whole safe is small enough to pick up and run off with) to feel more secure. Otherwise Gord is an excellent value stay in a quiet corner of the Old City!

GORD CHIANGMAI HOTEL is charming hotel is situated in one of the narrow lanes in Chiang Mai. Aside from a couple of minor issue, it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast with a variety of set dishes to choose from. There weren't a lot of vegetarian options (which was one of the minor inconveniences). We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. The hotel's ambiance is like being in a tropical garden with mini ponds and lush greenery that makes for a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are well-maintained and equipped with key cards that control the room's energy, making them clean and functional. One thing to note, there are only a limited number of parking spots available for those arriving by car or renting a scooter. Overall, the stay was great! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms are spotless. The inner courtyard is stunning and adds to the hotel's character. It is conveniently located close to the old town and several excellent restaurants. The Gord is a small boutique hotel that is ideal for families or groups looking for a solid three-star hotel with a unique personality.

We stayed at Gord Chiang Mai for a week, it was a fantastic stay. The staff Koi and Am are so friendly and helpful. They helped us from grabbing cab, arranging tour, to renting scooters and cars. Their hospitality was genuine and made us felt at home. Our loft was large and clean ( they do have a smaller size lofts). The breakfast was fresh and made to order. The atmosphere of the hotel has many green and felt very calm. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended and we hope to return again!

We stayed one night with breakfast : The good sides : -you can leave your luggage before check in and after check out, they have a special room for it. That’s convenient ! -room is big and have everything you need and free drinks and snack - very clean -good options for breakfast -the staff is really really nice and helpful. The not so good sides : - pretty noisy as our room was above the breakfast area but it’s Chiang Mai ! - AC is super loud - pillows are extremely hard so is the bed

Just spent 5 relaxing days at this simple boutique hotel. Ground floor room 101 very spacious and clean, a great big bed for two of us. Bathroom nice and clean with hot shower on demand. Brighter light needed over the sink though (shaving). Water and snacks provided in the room on a daily basis, cleaning and new towels as often as you request them. Breakfast sufficient and set but you can choose your type, always fresh and tasty. Bicycles are available to hire if you fancy riding around town (pretty safe roads). It’s the staff that make this place what it is, a very warm hospitable hotel. Will we return? Yes of course, no hesitation.

Excellent! Clean, quiet, friendly, good food, stunning presentation. Rooms are really nice and family friendly. The owner know what her costumer need and like… she is a designer and I enjoyed all details she worked on. Most of the Ideas about using materials to combine traditional and modern building are hers. Family rooms are build on two floors and give a special touch to the room. I can recommend this place for all of you who love to visit Chiangmai.

Such a nice hotel! The cheapest in the area by far. The service is the best part of this hotel, they are always so helpful and kind and put much effort into everything. The food in the restaurant is delicious and at a very reasonable price. Rooms are also excellent. Highly recommend this place!

Clean and nicely decorated place. Staff are somewhat helpful. Too many rules they have for guests - shoes off, no laundry allowed, breakfast served only until 10.00 (I was there at 9.45-9.50 and they said the kitchen is closed).

This is a nice little hotel on a relatively quiet street in the heart of Chiang Mai. The location is excellent, and the hotel staff are very accommodating. My wife and I stayed in Room 32, which has a nice view of the city. The breakfast was good. We would recommend the Gord!

The small cozy hotel located in old town. The staff at reception is very kind. Room is included limited breakfast which not impressive, they served as a set but you may order additional with charges. The room is basic and clean but lighting is not that good for the triple loft room. Mini bar is free by the way. Lastly the proper parking lot is very limited.

booked the room in February 2023 via Agoda, called today to reconfirm the reservation, and was told that the reservation has been cancelled without notified me much earlier.. Just imagine what will happened if I have fly over and reach the hotel around 10pm and there isn't any room for me? , blamed the system faulty and over booking, my reservation can not full filled.... it's really a BIG surprise! or this the way the hotel or agoda to generate more income? NOW MY ISSUE STILL HANGING.. I NEED TO PAY EXTRA 400% FOR THE ROOM RATE FOR MY TRIP.. PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOE.. DO YOU THINK SORRY IS THE WORD TO SOLVE AND FOR YOU TO LEARN? SINCE YOU ARE IN F&B SO MANY YEARS?

Very nice , quiet and popular hotel. Good variety of breakfast and nice grill restaurant next door. We loved staying there for 5 days

Excellent hotel and well above its star rating. We couldnt believe this was ranked a 2 star hotel as it looks so amazing! Very nice design of the rooms and the garden, it looks as in the pictures or even better! The rooms were very clean and the staff is absolutely amazing, so nice and polite and always with a smile on their face. The breakfast was in the garden which was very nice and in the shade and the food was very good. They also arranged laundry service for us which was very quick. They also have an open space at each floor that is very nicely decorated and has fans so you can stay and relax in the evening. All in all it was a great stay and we 100% recommend this hotel.

We're a family of 4 (kids are 9 and 7 years old). The room was spacious with 2 bathrooms (2 toilets, 1 with shower). Free bottled water and small snacks provided. The staffs were friendly. Breakfast choices were simple and has the perfect variation. Porridge for those who want something warm in the morning. Pancakes with a variety of fruits was a popular choice for our kids. Located in Chiang Mai Old City with many eateries and Wats (temples). My husband especially love the specialty coffee scene and they are all within walking distance. GORD would be our top choices of stay when we visit Chiang Mai again.

It is a 3 star hotel, the overall stay was good, located in the old city, a bit far from everything. The rooms are big and spacious but very dark, the AC started leaking. There was construction the next building, and they start pretty early. Breakfast was not impressive, you can choose one out of 5 dishes, very basic. The stuff we’re very friendly and helpful.

Superb hotel for staying almost a week in the center of Chiang Mai. The service was great, the check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and easy. Located like this it's easy to get around by foot, bike (can be rented from the hotel) and Tuktuk. 1 point less, because we weren't allowed to do you laundry - but it was no big deal, because there is a woman nearby who offers washing and ironing.

Room cleanliness is very good, staffs are nice and helpful, little hotel but lively in the morning. Doesn't have enough space for parking though.

Good quality everything but I think it’s overpriced. The restaurant downstairs is not bad but the breakfast options kinda sucked. Good service and pretty chill. Nice and quiet area

This hotel should be named from Gord to Don't. There are soooo many warnings what you cannot do that you have a feeling you are not a guest but prisoner. Plus, its in the old town and rooms are very nice with hot water which is not that obvious.

Very nice place to stay in Chiang Mai. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Breakfasts are delicious and rooms very spacious. Could be a little bit more light inside the room and in the toilet, as with dark walls it is slightly uncomfortable. We spotted big insect in the room during the first day of our stay, but this was just one-time accident (probably bug entered by the open door when room was being cleaned). Overall, very good value for money and I strongly recommend to everyone!

Beautiful top notch establishment! Koi ponds and rooftop decks, and flowers every where. There is a quality restaurant, and laundry on sight, and the staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful! I often spend a fifth of what I spent, but the missus wanted to splurge, and we still spent less than the cheapest accommodation in the USA. I love Thailand!β€οΈπŸ‡ΉπŸ‡

Love this hidden secret, creatively designed and quiet. Great for good rest and the staffs are amazing. Location is great, 5-7 mins walking distance to night market & 7/11. Not too noisy.

My go to place to stay when I visit Chiang Mai. On a side street away from the noise but close enough to walk to most places in the Old City. Excellent choices for bfst either Asian or western. Friendly staff.

The Gord is a small boutique hotel with character. And it is a solid 3 star hotel that is perfect for families or groups (in the duplex or connecting room). My only real gripe is that the duplex was cleaner than the connecting room I stayed in. I stayed at the Gord (in the duplex) for 1 night on the way to Pai and i stayed here again on the way back but this time i booked a "connecting room" The connecting room is more like a 1bedroom and 2 bathroom unit. But there is an additional bed in the "extended livingroom area". Both options are great for bigger groups and offers a different experience. Overall I enjoyed my stay here but as mentioned before the connecting room wasn't very clean which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. The first set of room photos is the duplex and the other is the connecting room. Definitely recommend this place.

This quaint little place is located in one of the alleyways of Chiang Mai. If you drive here, there's only a few parking spaces available. Other than that, it was great! The hotel offers complimentary breakfast in the morning where you choose from one of several set dishes. The atmosphere truly feels like you're in a small tropical garden with all of the mini ponds and greenery. The owner clearly had an eye for decor which I appreciated. Rooms were solid, with key cards to activate the energy in the rooms, clean, and well maintained.
