Best fish curry wrapped in banana leaves(Hor Mok ห่อหมกปลา). I prefer steamed one better than grilled one. The pad krapow seafood here is also amazing. I usually buy this as take out and either eat along the beach side with my family or at home. So delicious. Worth the drive to Ban Phe from Rayong city. Located near all the Rayong food souvenir street where you can find fresh Duran chips, durian jam, and dried seafood. Definitely a fun day trip to enjoy street food and shopping for local delicacies.

Used to come here very often. But this time we gotten shouted at by the older lady (assume that is the owner) because we ordered 2 orders of steamed hawmok (which is normally 3 per order) and 1 grilled order hawmok, this is what was being served to us. She then grabbed the plate out of the lady's hand and said "this is not what they ordered, they ordered 2 steamed and 1 grilled". When we said oh maybe we misunderstood the menu and we actually wanted 6 steamed hawmok and 3 grilled hawmok, she shouted at us some more and said "you have to wait until you ate those ones". Safe to say this ruined our appetite, so we did not order anymore. The taste of the food has also gone down hill and the prices have gone up. The hawmok was bland, the Tom yum pla was 180baht and was mostly mushroom with 3 slices of fish in it. We will not be going back

Seriously good Hormok. Don't expect good service, they really don't have to be. The queues to get their Hormok are long regardless.

The steamed egg was served cold and the taste of the food was average, disappointed with the experience.
