For about 550 baht We got a little cube room that was a very simple king size bed and enough room to walk around it. Not a lot of place to put your stuff inside of the room. Very basic amenities. The outside area which was also enclosed had some places for you to put your bags. The bathroom is an indoor outdoor style which is pretty cute. No screens on the Windows or doors so if you want fresh air all the bugs come with it including mosquitoes. No mosquito net for the bed But the AC is filled with mold and stinks. We had to shut it off so we could breathe and then open the window to get fresh air but there's no screens so now the room is filled with mosquitoes I don't know maybe you might have better luck Some of the other rooms seem nicer but, seems like mold here is a problem and the rooms smelt kind of musty and dank. The property itself is really nice. There's a really beautiful river just in front of the resort. The staff is very accommodating and there is free tea and coffee and freshwater. Unlimited ! I think it could use some attention to detail but overall it's fine for a couple of nights. There is some maintenance going on so there was a bit of noise and the room lets through a lot of noise with single pane windows

It’s a nice hotel, price is competitive and the room(pricer one) is nice; balcony is the highlight. Proper lounge chairs and all. 5 mins walking distance to the centre of the night market comes in extremely handy. However, sound proof of the pricer room(attached)is 0, neither does the french doors do anything. 5am we heard neighbours coughing, turning on tv, showering, chatting, climbing up and down of the stairs…etc. there were also bizzard door-slamming sounds coming from all directions. We probably will book the hotel again purely for it’s location and stylish rooms. However if you might noise and want to sleep in, this is not the place for you.

Lovely stay in Pai The property is bigger than I expected, you will definitely can enjoy the fresh air as they have a huge garden looking to the river. Too good for the price that l've paid. It's near the night market-Pai centre. Comfy bed and pillow. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Much appreciated! The hot water isn't consistent. Cottage room is quite cold at night even I stayed on Mar, double room is warmer. 00. Search Bookings Profile More

This is the worst hotel you can ever come across. Don’t be fooled by the fake review they put up. They lady in the reception is a scammer. She refuse to respond to guest to scam money. And they would just hang up on you on the phone. It’s would be horrible to stay at a place like this. Extremely rude service and scammer operator. Please be aware!!!

Clean rooms with nice new decorations and furniture.🥰 love the place honestly The ac was very throwing on the bed so i had fever the place you have to pass the bamboo bridge and 5 min walking then so it will be hassle if you have big luggage but still near to the walking street I called to book and i made sure about the price and availability that it’s 550 baht for single room but when i arrived they told me that it’s not available and only available room with 750-850 and they didn’t tried to compromise further more that I already booked . So i had to pay more because it was really hot and sunny and i needed to rest . But overall the place is really good and lovely❤️

Great location looking out on the Pai River. Rooms (budget room) small & basic ..no TV, kettle, chairs or fridge. Shower leaked. Service was excellent. Breakfast was great value at 100 bht.

My checkin was not a very good experience. I changed my rooms 2 times. (2nd &3rd room are the same room type). NO TV in all 3 the rooms. The staff told us "European don't watch tv. Only few rooms have TV mostly taken but fully booked". I got my reservation sometime in July 23 (include TV as a description) at that time of booking I reserve from Agoda their biggest & newest Family room available . But somehow recently the hotel updated its info and rooms type in Agoda probably due to upgrading. My family room (pics) became one of those newly refurbished ones. Upon entering the family river view room I had booked. I noticed gaps on the main door flame. Noise can be heard from walkway and next room. The walls are thin. The toilet have a very moist smell and there are some stains on bed bedsheet. I went back and request for a new quiet room . I was shown a newly built triple bed room hut which I liked it and was asked to topup and paid them extra 350baht per night for 3 days. After moving in with my luggage. The reception came over and told us that this room was booked by another guest and had to move out. I moved to another room further away. I observed the room I was asked to move out was not occupied that particular night. The next morning I ask another staff who is mending the reception and asked for the rates of the 2 rooms. My original family view room was 1100baht per night and triple room 1300baht. The difference was 200baht. I should have paid only extra 600baht for 3 nights instead of 1050baht. I didn't make a fuss to ruin my vacation simply just treat the extra as a goodwill tip. I find that it is not very good customer service and the room rates differ from person to person which I read and agreed with other reviewers in previous reviews. I could have rated 3 stars but definitely not the best hotels I had stayed in Pai. Overall the hotel is on the quiet side of the Pai River and night walking street via the river bridge. Getting there by road is thru another rustic bumpy route that pass by the padi fields. I dont encourage driving out after dark. The hotel surrounding is clean, quiet and peaceful. Bed is comfortable but hope you get a good neighbour. The walls are thin for light sleepers it could be a problem. There are plenty of other accommodation nearby some are newly built. No harm giving those a try.

Very comfortable accommodations. Nice location overlooking the Pia river. Pia town is accessible via a nearby footbridge. If you have a vehicle it's a bit of a longer route but not too far from town. Friendly, helpful staff.

We really enjoyed the location and how peaceful it was alongside the river. The people working there are very kind and the free tea and coffee was also very nice. The room itself had a nice bed and AC and the bathroom was a lot of fun because it was quite open and there was even a tree inside! I should have looked closer to make sure it was smoke free. It was clear there were people smoking before we came either in or around the room and there were also people smoking in the cafe.

Great view in front of the room. There were no AC and no mini fridge in our rooms but that was fine. The hot water didn't seem to work well. I hope they would put a screen on the window do we can get the fresh air without getting the mosquito.

Really wonderful accommodation. It's by a river with access via a bamboo bridge. Please do not try to ride your motorcycle across like i saw a few people try. Park by tje mouth of the bridge and walk in. The entire experience is wonderful . Rooms are clean. There is hot shower and mosquito netted bed. Slept at cottage 6 and it was absolutely peaceful all night.

The hotel is in a nice location, 5 mins walk to main street, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful beside the river. The bathroom wall does not connect to the ceiling though, so there were a lot of insects in the room, like mosquitos, spiders, ants and a cockroach. There is a mosquito net around the bed though so no problem for sleeping. The staff were kind and there is a nice balcony with a river view, and chairs by the river to sit. We were in the cheapest room, so some other rooms look like they would not have any insect problems. Overall the insects were not too much of a problem and we enjoyed our stay

Clean and comfy there is a lot of relaxation areas. The staff are very helpful and lovely. The location is near the Main Street of the night walking street and the bus station And what I love the most is that I do not have to fight my blankets with my bf 😂 cuz they have 2 blankets.

I usually visiting to Pai but Canary kinda turned me of. First the room have musty smile and the WiFi is weak. Pricey compare to other (same level) hotels nearby. The street is difficult to get in, a dirt road not recommend especially on raining season. We probably not coming back here again. Tip: check info fee before you get on every services beware of overcharge.

Beautifully located next to the river, with a bamboo bridge that takes you to the main walking street in 2 min. Lots of seating space, cute reception area, and free tea and coffee. We upgraded to a room with airconditioning but unfortunately there were ants everywhere, including in our bed. The lady at the reception is lovely and was very helpful - she moved us to a different room the next day. Rooms are not very dark at night as not all windows have curtains so would recommend a sleeping mask if you're light sensitive. Obviously not very expensive so expectations weren't super high but didn't feel like the rooms had been cleaned/checked properly.

The hotel supposed to be quite, when we arrived they renovated the hotel which made a lot of noise, 2 out of 4 electricity holes didn’t work and barely was hot water in the shower. 3 of 5 mornings we woke up because of noise, and when we’ve told the staff of it, they offered us to upgrade with money to another room. To get from the hotel to the walking street had 2 ways, the first one is from the road which make a round of a few minutes by a motorcycle and the other way is a bamboo bridge which is scary and frightful at night. Beside that, the room was very nice and they cleaned our room every day.

Perfect location: quiet with relaxing sound of the river flowing but very close to the walking street. Very well kept: garden is impeccably kept, rooms are clean with a minimum of insects inside. Lovely receptionist with her family here. Also, free (instant) coffee & tea, two adorable cats and we were lucky enough to get a room with a hammock. All in all, I wish I could bring this place home with me.

I have spent 4 nights here and it's totally great both fan room and air con room. The place is next to the river if you get the fan room you'll have a great view in front of your room and close to the walking street about 200 m. The room is clean and the price is great. You can have a food delivery from outside which taste is great too. I highly recommend the place and I will stay here again if I have to go to Pai. Love!

We loved our stay at Canary. Our room overlooked the river and walking street is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Convenient and beautiful location. The bed was hard but that seems to be the norm throughout Thailand. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were very friendly too. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and the night market, yet very quiet at night. Breakfast is great but not all items are available. Network speed is descent.

Absolutely loved my stay at Canary Guesthouse. The room was perfect, quiet, and clean. Impressive interior design and I was most pleased with how cozy the room felt. I slept very very well. This was my first stay here but not my last time for sure. The staff were very kind and communicated in English. I greatly appreciated their hospitality and service. I look forward to stay here again. A huge thank you to the Canary Guesthouse Team.

We had a lovely stay here. The first bungalow we rented at a different place was much too rustic for us. This one was a bit more modern and closer to town. There were a lot of insects, but I think that is impossible to escape in Pai. The one attendant at the front desk also seemed very uninterested in helping with anything and it was never until someone else came out from the back that we were helped. I think she was just a bit overwhelmed and busy. We would stay here again if we visit Pai.

Lovely hotel . Very clean and nice rooms . The lady at reception is very friendly. Great location just over the river from Pai town so nice and pieceful but a 2 minute walk to walking street over a bamboo bridge Plenty of seating by the river to sit and chill .

The room is clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable. Also, the location is very great, you can walk for 3-5 mins to Pai Night Market

it was the best place we stayed in our pai trip. It is a great price/performance accommodation, both in terms of the spaciousness and hygiene of its rooms, and its location where you can cross the river and find yourself in the busiest streets of Pai, while offering its current peaceful place.
