World
class
service
and
absolutely
wonderful
staff
keep
me
coming
back
to
Renaissance
Mai
Khao.
The
people
at
this
hotel
truly
are
special,
and
will
make
you
feel
right
at
home
throughout
your
stay.
The
rooms
are
very
nice,
well
maintained
and
clean.
The
villas
are
very
private
and
quiet
and
all
have
their
own
pool.
I
do
have
two
issues
with
Renaissance,
however.
Firstly,
the
frequency
of
noisy
and
disruptive
events
is
quite
high.
Whether
it's
a
wedding,
a
corporate
event,
or
otherwise,
there's
seems
to
always
be
some
loud
event
taking
over
the
beachfront.
Secondly,
the
frequency
with
which
they
conduct
noisy
and
disruptive
maintenance/renovations
works
is
also
very
high.
I've
stayed
here
10
days
over
the
last
two
weeks
and
there's
been
maybe
one
day
where
I
haven't
been
woken
up
by
hammering,
pressure
washing
or
some
other
form
of
noisy
works.
To
their
credit,
they
did
inform
of
pest
fogging
the
day
prior,
which
gave
me
the
opportunity
to
leave
and
avoid
it,
but
other
works
happen
routinely
and
without
notification.
It
also
doesn't
appear
they
are
terribly
concerned
with
conducting
their
renovations
in
a
safe
manner,
as
they
conduct
wood
sanding
activities
without
any
safety
precautions
in
place,
and
allow
the
dust
from
the
sanding
to
drift
right
towards
the
pool
area.
I
wish
they
would
properly
seal
a
space
off
before
sanding
and
contain
the
toxic
dust,
but
with
such
a
large
block
of
rooms
currently
under
renovation
(they
have
one
whole
section
of
rooms
blocked
for
renovations)
I
suppose
that
would
be
a
bit
too
time
consuming.
Despite
these
issues,
I
will
keep
coming
back
to
Renaissance
because
the
service
is
just
really
that
good.
I've
spent
the
past
4
months
in
hotels
all
over
the
world,
and
Renaissance
Mai
Khao
really
stands
out
from
all
the
other
places
I've
stayed
in
terms
of
service.
If
you're
not
sensitive
to
noise
and
don't
mind
renovations,
loud
music,
and
such,
I'd
highly
recommend
Renaissance
for
a
stay.
If
you're
looking
for
peace
and
quiet
however,
I'd
say
best
to
stay
elsewhere
at
the
moment.
