Excellent hotel. Car park adjacent. Rooms well equipped, spacious and clean, with views over the canal. Supper and breakfast both as good as any that I've had. Staff pleasant, helpful and efficient. And all for a very moderate price. Really impressed.

That was One of the worst hotels Iā€™ve seen Iā€™ve booked a family room but obviously they gave us a twin room . I was there with my children I could not turn on or off the heating system because the temperature controller was broken I did ask them to send someone to sort out the problem but they didnā€™t care what I did say to them The room didnā€™t have air circulation because the windows are no openable. Anyway that was my first and last time time to stay in that funny hotel.

Great hotel, parking available in adjacent multi storey car park. Staff very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Although many resteraunts nearby we actually ate in the hotel for both breakfast and evening meal. A meal deal is also available if wanted. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely over night stay. We enjoyed our breakfast. Having run out of croissants, as soon as they were ready a lady bought some to our table. Lovely friendly staff. We would stay again. The picture was the view from our room.

Lovely hotel room was spotless and it was very quiet. Breakfast was an extra cost but we'll worth it. You had continental and full English all you can eat for 9.99. Continental on its own was 7.99

Had a great stay here with my mum and sister! Really nice and friendly staff and cleaners, great rooms and beds, with an amazing view to the canal. The daily price was reasonable and so were their meal deals for kids and adults. Right next the shopping mall and a few restaurants. Only downside was when we were dropped off it was behind the building as the front is near the canal, was hard to bring all the luggage but a staff assisted us with a trolley. Highly recommend for short stays.

Went for an evening away, and it was great. Good service throughout with huge clean room and lovely coffee. We are happy to go back when we can get some time away from everyone else.

Great hotel, lovely staff and wonderful rooms. Absolutely live these beds!! Honestly I would stay in these beds everyday if I could. Air con was working great and my room was so cold. Little thing to mention, the shower curtain rail was curved and that makes a massive difference as it doesn't stick to you which is a bonus. Food was great with a huge selection to choose from. Only negatives were the plates for breakfast were very small and also there as a menu in the room for room service but no phone to phone it in so had to Google the number, then when I called, I was told that room service wasn't an option.

Room was in good condition. The staff were really kind and friendly. Location was brilliant. Whilst they don't have their own car park, there is a car park nice door which is really well priced for overnight stays. Also right near the shopping centre, and plenty of restaurants either opposite or very close. Would stay here again with our family

Located within 2 minutes walk of Castle Quay shopping centre and only 300 metres from the town centre, this is ideally situated. A foot bridge takes you across the canal to The Light, with eateries, cinema, climbing walls, and more. Check-in can be at the desk or electronic kiosk, saving time, and you just use the key drop box on leaving. We booked well in advance and got a very good rate for our overnight stay. Rooms are spacious, comfortably heated/ventilated, but you can't open the windows. Despite being so central, it was quiet, and we slept in with no disturbance. Parking is free overnight (after 6pm) and you only start paying after 7am the next morning. Very cheap compared to London parking charges! We didn't eat in, as there are so many good places and such a varied choice for dinner and breakfast nearby.

On first visit to Banbury on business visit, wanted to book a hotel that was in the town center so that don't have to spend efforts on searching for restaurants. Premier Inn matched my criteria and hence booked it and no doubt the location is perfect! Booked premier plus rooms which were supposed to be better than the rest of the rooms offered, but the WIFI kept on disconnecting in few seconds and had to reconnect. Imagine reconnecting to the WIFI 8-10 times on a 4 minutes WhatsApp call. Rooms are not cleaned regularly unless you request the same at the reception. There is no phone in the room to connect to the front desk/reception, which means that you need to walk to the reception every time you are looking for any help/assistance.

The room is bad, I am in a family room and the beds are close together and small, the service is good and fast, and the locations also good as it is right next to the town center only problem is that the mall closes and is only good way of getting to different parts of the center but the hotel can't do much about the opening and closing times, it's still something to note of you get back late then you have to walk through some alleyways

Decent location overlooking canal, bathroom & room facilities clean & in good order. Bed however wasn't great at all. Mattress heavily used both sides with significant dishing. Ended up having to remake the bed as neither quilt cover nor sheet had been properly fitted by housekeeping. In the end this is the real fundamental of a hotel room & it was a miss.

Absolutely outstandingā€¦! If this is how major chains are conducting business now, then this place should be a real exampleā€¦ staff are awesome, friendly and go out of their way to help. A real credit to the hospitality industry and going above and beyond to set the bench mark for what a warm welcome should beā€¦ the lady on reception was showing my 5 year old daughter videos of her puppies while checking inā€¦! It was just gorgeousā€¦ā¤ļø The rooms were immaculate.. the air conditioning was perfect and the beds were divine..! Facilities are brilliantā€¦ nothing is too much trouble for the staff.. and there is a real home from home feel to the whole place..šŸ‘ Parking is extremely reasonable and in very close proximity to the hotel, given it is a separate entity. The food is also outstanding. Fresh and plentifulā€¦ especially the breakfast which I highly recommend šŸ‘ we had a lovely stay and will definitely be back againā€¦ ā¤ļø Not to mention the locationā€¦ right on the canal with numerous boats docked and passing throughā€¦ just brilliant.. šŸ‘ Thank you castle quay premier inn.. we will see you again šŸ‘šŸ„°

Lovely settings but if you here to work and have to leave early for work breakfast starts at 7 so you might aswell forget the meal deal and get something on the road also I have been to a few premier inns but I have never usually seen a hotel that uses the local shopping centre cars park Ā£ 6.10 a day you have to pay and if you driving a high top van forget it 1 small row which again is actually the local shopping centres. Any workers traveling highly recommend try somewhere else anywhere actually unless you like cereal for breakfast and quite a walk to get your van

Very good but need to fix the vending machines, have stayed here twice and both times both machines were cash only. Water and snacks are important when you've been on the lash.šŸ˜Ž

Beautiful location right on the canal. Watched the narrow boats passing while having breakfast. Very reasonable price too. Also, right next to a whole raft of food places.

Stayed here for two nights on business. On returning after day one expecting the room to be visited by housekeeping I found nothing had been touched. On visiting reception I was told that the rooms arenā€™t cleaned, towels swapped or tea and coffee restocked unless you specifically ask! Given the sign in the bathroom saying if you want a towel swapping then leave it in the bath then you expect someone to check. The premium room was ok but appeared just the same as a normal room but with a a Nespresso machine (which you only get one capsule for). Staff werenā€™t particularly helpful, it was pot luck what was available at the breakfast bar and the restaurant is overpriced. Would be better looking for accommodation elsewhere.

Had such a wonderful stay over the bank holiday! We called up ahead of our stay and a lovely, upbeat person answered the phone called Samantha who was really helpful. When we arrived to the hotel Samantha was also there to greet us and again was so lovely and welcoming-an asset to Premier Inn!

Helpful staff who welcomed us. Despite a small team they went above and beyond to make the lobby function and kept good service. Nice location overlooking the loch, beautiful lit up at night. Plenty of chain restaurants opposite the hotel if you wanted to dine out. Great activity centre opposite featuring bowling, climbing, crazy golf and arcade. Shopping mall and parking right next to the hotel. We were surprised how beautiful Banbury and Oxford are. We would definitely stay here again. Great for couples / family's / leisure visits. Quiet area with a Sunday market in the high street. The mall Supports local business with Local coffee / food businesses in the entrance to the mall definitely worth taking a look.

Definitely one of the better Premier Inns Iā€™ve stayed at. However both the self service checkin machines were broken and took the receptionist ages to check people in so queued for 10-15 mins. The multi story behind is reasonable priced, Ā£10 for a long weekend Fri-Sun.

Nice room for the price you pay. Very friendly staff. Good and elaborate breakfast buffet. Nice touch is that you can always get extra coffee or tea to take to your room if you want it, from a little display in the lobby. This is a very small, but for me much appreciated detail. Would most definately visit again and recommend it to others

If you like Premier Inn this is one of the best. Everything looks new, and the rooms are above the usual standard. The breakfast was probably the best I have had at a Premier Inn; good job it's eat as much as you like as I topped up a couple of times!

It is really nice in the reception area, The staff are extremely friendly. I stopped for a drink. They don't have a large selection of beers. Prices are reasonable. The location is very good, it is right in the middle of the town center. I would certainly recommend it
