My first visit which was on a weekday was a really pleasant surprise. Parking aplenty. Approaching the shops was so different from retail parks, a sense of attractive modern, uncrowded and green. The main garden centre with restaurant and so much more was lovely; a bright and inviting environment with quality products that created a real sense of ideas for the home and buying temptation. Our lunches from a good varied menu were really nice, then tea and delicious cakes later at another eatery. The other separate shops were interesting too especially the huge pet store (unfortunately I don't have any pets). Probably spent 3 hours there but with so much to see we're looking forward to going again soon.

Great big garden centre with a huge range of indoor and outdoor plants and homeware. We went for afternoon tea for my mums 90th birthday. Staff were all so friendly and made a great effort to help us celebrate. We upgraded to a glass of Prosecco each for a small fee. The food was so delicious with a great range. Scones were huge and cakes very yummy great value for money.

Good garden center with well cultivated plants. Also has additional shopping for food, gifts and clothes. The staff are friendly and the range is excellent. It can be a tad expensive and there are long queues on bank holidays and weekends, so time your check out well. There is also an additional shop for aquatic plants and ponds which is pretty handy. The cafe serves a very nice afternoon tea.

Phenomenal selection of plants, food, treats, cakes! Amazing! American sweets too. This is the place to go. Has a great restaurant, soft play. Shops nearby. What more could you want? Love it! Staff were also super friendly.

What a gem of a place. Visited today for the first time as it was just a convenient place to meet someone and was amazed at how well stocked the garden centre was. I came home with three planters I had not set out to buy! Lunch in the Theatre Cafe was also really tasty and great value.

Restaurant has extremely slow service. We waited over 30 minutes before being asked for our order. We both ordered hot chocolate and one had to be with a milk alternative, so after a further wait we got our drinks only to ask which one is with the milk alternative? We got a reply by the waitress saying “I have no idea, I’m only a waitress”. Made as chuckle. So food finally came, and I ordered a chicken and mushroom tagliatelle which was nice, however it was penne not tagliatelle. So I would’ve appreciated being informed that it’s penne before I ordered as I don’t enjoy penne with anything. Whilst eating we were interrupted with a young lady wanting payment, fortunately we don’t pay until we’ve finish (wait till the end!). Over an hour later for 2 drinks and a meal, we decided we can’t wait for the bill. So we approached the supervisor who couldn’t apologise enough and decided we shouldn’t pay for anything. We did see numerous amounts of others suffering the same as us, I just hope they complained as we did, or nothing will change.

What a fantastic destination. Well worth the trip from where you live. Around every corner is a new delight. The buyers need to be complimented. The gift that keeps giving and at competitive prices. We spend far too much money but heck, happy wife happy life.

First visit to Bicester Avenue Garden Centre as helping my son with the garden in his new house. Cannot fault the help provided by Liz as she took the time to help me find what I was looking for provided choices for me and mad the whole experience easy and worthwhile. So good was her service that I went back later the same day to purchase further items. Based on the service provided by Liz I highly recommend this garden centre . I did look around and all items seemed of good quality and fairly priced. Good range of items in all areas.

My family will tell you I am notoriously tough on garden centres; crowds of people traipsing round dull spaces with nothing better to do at the weekend 😉 However, this one did win me over, and not just with an impressive full English with outstanding black pudding 👍 There is great variety, loads of space, *really* friendly staff. Recommended.

We had a lovely lunch in the cafe, good menu range, and reasonably quick service. There are lots of different areas to shop around, I especially like the sweet shop, and there was a cat chilling with the garden furniture, so it's 5 stars from me!

Lovely garden centre now and all the staff were very friendly & helpful. Customer Service desk helped me and the 2 in the garden furniture area, were very helpful and are delivering me a garden arch on Tuesday. Another lady recognised me from one area when she was called over to serve me when I wanted to buy a picture. Restaurant- had a slight problem with 1 till which left a long queue but no problem. Husband waited at the table while I ordered a hot meal, which was very tasty and we felt good value. Ordering and delivering to our table a freshly made meal, is a great improvement to the old system. Well done to the serving staff & chefs as it was quite busy. Love the new seating area too. Excellent.

The garden centre is unbelievable. It’s the best, no question. So much to view from plants to gifts. Amazing coffee shop. Old Sweet Shop. Too much to record. It’s just the best and a must visit centre.

Large shop. Surrounded by other shops. Sells garden things, food, and clothes. Has a coffee and a cake shop within. Very close to Bicester shopping village.

I love this garden centre! It's huge with a big variety of plants / garden items (obviously!) But also there is a huge food hall, loads of homewards, a huge cafe with fresh food and a really good patisserie serving homemade cakes!

The one of the sale advisors was so helpful and nice to me , helped to choose the right Christmas tree and a stand for it . I’m so thankful, she made my Christmas mood much nicer , her name is Suzzele ( I’m sorry if I misspelled it) . Nice centre. I highly recommend to visit )

Nice area! They also have an area for pets, which is lovely. The Service variate depending on the shift, I guess. We normally go every Saturday or Sunday. However, this weekend, I was not very impressed with the service at the cashier. Overall, it is nice!

Parking excellent, garden centre itsel was beautifully decorated for Christmas had an excellent choice of decorations etc. First port of call was the patisserie which was ok though I felt the cakes were expensive for what they were. After a play in the play area which was very good for the 2 year old with us we went to the main restaurant. The menu sounded delicious, however,……food arrived cold. Baked potato cold didn’t even melt the butter the prawns and crayfish was nothing exciting. Hubster had the burger which was supposed to be katsu was nothing different other than the mayo had a few spices in and that was so cold he couldn’t eat it. Whole eating experience very disappointing and would not recommend eating there, go and find a local pub!!!

This place has some great products and if you’re a lover of shopping then you’ll be well catered for BUT this is no garden centre in any traditional sense. The sheer scale of the place makes it feel quite soulless and like an airport - I kept expecting to hear tannoy announcements telling me unattended baggage would be destroyed! If you like large airport / shopping centre vibes you’ll love this place but for me, it just felt far too corporate and some of the terms used on menus for example (arugula anyone?) hint at it being aimed at the international Bicester village crowd. Worth a visit, but in no hurry to go back.

Great place to go for a day out. Good quality plants, great selection for everything you might need for your garden or home!! Excellent food in the restaurant and cafe. The soft play area is a must if you have young children, you can sit down with a coffee while they run around and have lots of fun. The staff are so very helpful too.

Lovely garden centre especially at Christmas time. Visited with grandchildren to see Santa which was great. Did think a basic egg sandwich with a few chips at £10.95 was very overpriced and certainly not worth the money sadly!

This is so much more than a garden centre. Yes there is a lovely selection of house plants, garden plants, tools and everything else a good centre would have and then there is a wonderful selection of household items and two different places for eating. It’s had a revamp recently and it is much improved except for one thing. There is a long diversion when you enter to make you see as much as possible before you reach the tills or one of the cafes. It needs a cut through.

Beautifully set out displays with every turn of a corner bringing a new department, feature or experience. Quality oozes from everywhere and happy, helpful staff generate confidence from entrance to checkout. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be back soon.

It's a lovely place with friendly employees. Lots of things for your kitchen, garden and decorating. Wear a mask and shop in store. Cafe is closed during lockdown, but hopefully will reopen - I'd love to go back for a coffee and cake.

Its always a pleasure to go here

I’ve reduced this to one star because today there was literally no way to get into the store. Each door was marked with no entry or exit. We walked the entire perimeter of the shop. Every time I go here I’m frustrated by one thing or another. I will not bother to come here again. I’m really appalled. Other comments are right about this place having loads of choice and being more than a garden centre, however I think this is also to its detriment. It’s impossible to find anything. Things are illogically organised. It doesn’t help either that staff would rather stand around chatting to each other than show you where to find what you’re looking for. It could be a great shop, just it needs better organising and clearer signage and more helpful staff. I find it a waste of time every time I go.
