For Donating Coffin. Location Guide: Take metro to Samyam Station. The donation area for coffin is run by a foundation. IT IS NOT LOCATED WITHIN THE TEMPLE. It is on the right (facing the temple entrance) of the temple, you won’t miss it with a Wheelock ramp. Process: Enter into the premise and on the left are counters. Approach any vacant one and they will ask you to write your full name on the top of the pink slip. Highlight to the staff the amount to donate. To make things simpler, it’s 500 Baht per Coffin. The staff will issue a receipt and write the amount and name. You can choose to donate more like 1000 Baht for 2 coffins. They will pass your back the pink slip and the receipt. Walk behind the counter and you will see people applying glue (on the table) and walk towards the yellow boxes (coffin) and stick on it and offer a goodwill prayer. The staff will remove them periodically. Once finish, walk out and Turn Left to the temple. You can lit the receipt on the candle and put it burning in the urn beside.

One of the most beautiful temples with fewer visitors! It only had local people and the temple cats. I recommend bringing a packet of cat food to feed the kittens, which are many! Very quiet and well taken care of. 🐱❤️

A magnificent temple! It is like a palace due to its royal vibe. They have an instruction board at the entrance, but still easily get lost because all the units is not easy to identify. Many locals visit here. 40 Baht per foreigner, pay it to the person at the gate of stairway to the temple. You can find many cats here also. How to get there? Take bus/MRT to Samyan/Chulalongkorn Uni and walk here.

This is a unique royally sponsored temple in Bangkok's Silom District. The lower level has various merit making activities and an office where you can buy people who die destitute all the need for Buddhist funeral rights. About 500 baht when I used to buy one each Christmas. The upper level has an ordination hall and main temple. There is a narrow parking building in the back or pay 50 baht to park in the nice BTS carpark next door. There are basic toilets on the first level as well and taxis in front of the temple.

It's well-known by Donating coffin for unclaimed body, belongings nowhere, no relative corpses. The temple is quite large and full of cats, very crowded on weekends and holidays.

In this place, you will face the beautiful buddha statue and wonderful architect. By the way, you can see the top view from the church to city and you can go to SiamSquare and anyplace with MRT. It's easy for you to visit, because you can go by underground. By the way, you can go to donate for the dead body without coffin as well. When my girlfriend suffers from something or doesn't feel good. I will bring her to donate in this place. It makes her happier and forget her bad thinking. I recommend you to come to this place. Pray for buddha, and donate for your people who are poor and don't have a coffin.

There was no wait. We went inside directly. It is very nice. They have many offerings that people can buy before paying respect to the Buddhas. As in every religious place, we have to take off our shoes before going inside.

Compared to many others i find this pretty dirty all around and there is also a ticket of 40bt. Unevitable traffic noise around. Still worth the visit.

A quiet and beautiful Buddhist temple in the centre of Bangkok. It's very less crowded as compared to other temples since it is not very famous with the tourists. This means you can easily pray here without waiting in the queues. Very easily accessible by the metro. Must visit temple in Bangkok

Hua Lamphong temple is quite famous for Ruam Katunyoo life rescue foundation donation. Not only those foundation but also famous buddha statue and Wessuwan gods are good for worship too. A lot of donation boxes for difference purpose for you to donate too. Parking are very limited, the best way to reach there is by public transportation or MRT at Sam Yan station.

It is located next to the MRT station and free to enter. The façade of the ordination hall is well decorated. The interior is luminous. Paintings are fabulous.

This is temple in the city ! What’s iconic photos for me when I see Lai Thai temple in the middle of big buildings….. Sometimes just only work hard it doesn’t enough we made begging or praying to something that we can’t see but we believe that are something that we can’t see to help us … some how … give them flowers and light the candles. Hope I will win Lottery 😊

This Buddhist Temple is located near MRT Line, Sam Yan station which is about a minute walk away. I have posted some pictures of the temple here. To access the temple as shown in the pictures, foreigner needs to pay an entrance fee. The interior structure is nice. A good spot for taking pictures and pray/pay respect to Buddha.

This is quite a large temple with 15+ salas. Staff are helpful in guiding you through the processes as you pay respect etc. Most salas have aircon so it's no too hot. Located right next to the MRT so easy to reach.

As a tourist destination this is not too good. What you can look at is limited. I am sure this is great for locals, but for visitors that aren’t Buddhist, don’t bother

I went to here to donate a coffin for the poor people. It's comfortable to do. We believe that it's good luck. Here, donate 500 baht for a full coffin. And that's Cat sleeping on donation box. So cute!

😠 BEWARE of SCAMMERS in Tuktuk and the « host » of the temple that will bring you to buy suits or stones and pay 3,000 THB to take a boat to go to others temples. They should be ashamed since it’s a sacred place.
