Although the building is a bit outdated, overall it's a delightful place to stay, particularly for an extended stay. The room is very spacious and the balcony is big and wide. Additionally, having a kitchen and a laundry machine in the unit is a great convenience. You'll find a couple of charming bakeries nearby, as well as a local market and a convenient store. The garden is stunning and tranquil, complete with a lovely pond featuring vibrant koi fish. The service is exceptional, and the room cleaning is impeccable. The pool was very nice and the gym was very big offering many different kinds of workout machines.

Had a 6 nights stay here. Rooms were sufficiently larger than the other hotel rooms, but the service apartments showed signs of wear. Despite efforts to upkeep it, the appliances are old, think 10-15 years old at least. I had a work desk that was not near any electrical plug, which was puzzling. There were stains on the sofa too and the main air condition had a smell to it. Location was a distance from BTS or MRT. Expect to walk for at least 10+ mins to either of them. Given the above, I'll not stay here again.

This hotel is located in a fantastic spot with close proximity to a lot of the sights the city has to offer. The room was extremely well maintained with its own kitchen, bedroom, large bathroom, dining area and lounge. The view from the rooms where spectacular from the balcony. The hotel has amenities such as a gym and pool, plus you can pay 350baht for a buffet style breakfast each morning which is stocked full of local and western foods. The hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful. A 7/11 is located about 30 meters from the hotel which was very convenient, as well as many food options.

πŸ‘πŸ» 1) First time staying at Ascott managed properties, and truly enjoyed our stay 2) The one bedroom unit is spacious, for Bangkok standard 3) Unit comes with all items required - kitchen to cook or make simple meals, sinks to wash everything after, washing machine to do laundry, comfortable bed 4) Large fitness centre, with enough space to do floor exercises 5) Large covered swimming pool 6) Friendly concierge, constantly being troubled to bring items we bought up to our unit 7) Large garden at the front of the property 8) specious lounge at level 5, also at the lobby 9) Feels more coming back to home at an apartment or condominium 10) Strategic location, though not very close to train stations, but can utilise the shuttle service 11) Quick to attend to issues raised πŸ‘ŽπŸ» 12) Aged facilities, and some units were quite old. One Microwave in the unit is really old, and dirty. The team changed it for us. 13) Confusing lift buttons, one part of the lift buttons actually for loading, as well as for pets 14) No sauna facility 15) Quite a bit of distance to walk and reach the lobby, from the main road. Partly due to the large garden and ponds at the front 16) No restaurant inside the property 17) On weekend, if living on the lower floor, you could hear the tennis practice, depending if you need to sleep a bit longer, then the noise could be disturbing 18) The cleanliness of the housekeeping. Depending on the crew, some requires more guidance in terms of cleaning, wiping etc 19) Balcony sizes, some units are really large, some way too small to be known as balcony. This depends, if you like to chill at the balcony in the morning, night or in the evening for the breeze 20) The traffic direction for taxi, or any visiting vehicle, making a u-turn, kind of unclear, as there is no signage

July 7 2023 VERY poor service for a hotel. The room is very dusty when we first arrived, Lobby personnel hardly understands English. And now, the reception is telling us to talk to the driver(hotel shuttle service) to fix my booking. I just told them(Guest Services) that they should be doing that. It's there job. . HELLO!?! July 9 2023 Pets are allowed in the building but guests are required to take the service lift if they have pets. But hotel management allows guest to take ANY lifts together with their pets. How about people who has allergies? πŸ˜‚ July 11-19, 2023 Countless incident for the pets and lift. July 22 2023 The hotel guest services are very strict for the shuttle service. They don't allow guest to take the shuttle service if guests are just 1minute late. Seriously. But today, the shuttle is late and made us wait for 5minutes. I thought they are syrict with time??? πŸ˜‚

Absolutely loved my stay here at Somerset, very clean and tidy, so professional, we just loved our apartment room and the views were to die for. The buffet breakfast was definitely 10 out of 10 and the staff are just beautiful wonderful people, I couldn't believe the service we got just felt like a amazing dream. My partner and I really miss this place and can't wait to visit Bangkok again and will definitely make Somerset our new place to stay very time.

Rooms are well appointed with washer/dryer, hairdryer, two AC units, kitchen, lounge and bedroom TV, dining table etc. My room was very spacious. They do have smoking and non-smoking rooms so make sure you stipulate your preference. Breakfast is buffet and good selection from continental staples of cereal, yoghurt, bread options through to bacon, hash browns, selection of egg options cooked for you hot food such as fried rice, vegetables, salad etc. All staff are very pleasant and friendly. Loved the pool area. Beauty spa in the hotel that is reasonable (facials, massages etc). Very good gym also. Not close to a BTS location but taxis etc are so cheap it doesn't cost much to get to where you need. Some may prefer to be more centrally located, But there are good restaurants, cafes and street markets in the immediate area. Recommend as a reasonably priced accomodation option.

A very friendly n cozy place to stay if you are on business trip. No big tour group around to make your stay uncomfortable. Most importantly no China groups. Staff super helpful n friendly especially the door man. He's been there like forever. A thousand thumbs up for him.... I think the only thing below standard is the morning breakfast. Very basic .

Loved my stay here. The STAFF are GREAT! The door men... and house keeping are among the best I have had in my global travels. Also... my little French bulldog was made to feel right at home - and the lawn at the front made it so easy to do bathroom time while she adjusted to time zone. GREAT restaurants are around too. Breakfast is only meal served but.. what a SPREAD. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel..

Stayed in Room 801 for one night, had to visit a couple embassies in the area. First impressions were good, lobby, spacious units etc. But after a long day, wanted to sleep and noticed the bed dipped in the middle, after checking the bottom of the box spring, noticed a missing wheel. I don't know how housekeeping didn't notice this while changing the sheets. I called the reception to complain, the wheel was replaced, afterwards the bed still wasn't completely flat, but as I was tired I just ignored it. I think the center support of the box spring was broken as well. So, actually the whole box spring needed replacement. Other issues: -The bed and pillows were too small as well (compared to other hotels). -The bathroom sink was clogged. -The TV channels don't have good reception. -Chairs on the balcony would've been nice. Do not give them your email at the front desk, they send you unnecessary emails.

I absolutely loved my two week stay at Sumerset Park Hotel. The rooms are great, they have everything you need for a long stay and any problems get sorted immediately. The breakfast you get every day is amazing! So much selection, and everything done beautifully. I love the location, Suan Phlu is a great area to stay in. My favorite part of my stay here though was absolutely the staff! Every staff member from doorman to reception, breakfast, maintenance, and cleaners were so lovely, so respectful and would go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. The doorman Jit, was my favorite, the most lovely man, always greets you with a kind smile and always willing to help. He's an absolute asset to this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be back

I was very satisfied with my recent stay at the Somerset Park Suanplu and would definitely recommend the hotel to others. I have stayed here three times over the past 10 years and will undoubtedly stay again when next in Bangkok. The three positives, that stand out for me are ........... 1 the friendly and helpful staff, 2 the location, not in the middle of the noisy tourist hub, but not far away and 3 the size of the apartments. The air conditioning worked well and there is the usual in apartment security safe. It was also useful to have full laundry facilities in the apartment The included buffet breakfast was excellent. The Wifi worked well with no problems. These are proper apartments with lounge room, kitchen and dining arears and separate bedroom and this one had a two way bathroom and a separate laundry. There is a full kitchen, but no oven, however almost everything else that you need, including a large fridge freezer. The gardens and lawns in the front are beautiful and peaceful and I appreciated the herbs growing there, that are available to be used by residents. There is a large fish pond that adds to the tranquility. Although a little dated, this is a fantastic hidden gem in Bangkok, close to local’s food markets and shops, yet walking distance to the full chaos of Patpong. My stay was made all the better by all the hotel staff and especially the friendly door guys, always willing to help and greet you with a smile.

Tired and run down apartments. Beds are like concrete even with a topper. TV is old and fuzzy constantly, and in general not great. Construction on one full side of the building goes all day! Breakfast is well below average Many many many other AMAZING hotels in Bangkok for this money .... find one of those instead

Totally enjoyed our stay here. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Rooms a bit dated but still comfortable. You're only there to sleep. Will definitely come back.

Two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was huge and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and fantastic views over Bangkok from every room. Had cooking facilities and a washing machine. Little details like the provision of laundry detergent and drying rack, washing up liquid and tea cloths were so very useful Cupboards have internal lights, adequate hangers and disposable slippers and toothbrushes were provided. Sheets and beds and towels spotlessly clean. Rooms well maintained. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived after travelling 24 hours, so the staff kindly arranged access to a temporary room so we could shower and even had our luggage brought up, so we could access clean clothing, and then without promoting, they moved our luggage again to our booked rooms. The reception staff were so intuitively helpful when we found we had left a phone in the taxi and they quickly retrieved this for us. The doormen were all so helpful, cheerful and absolutely delightful personalities and made us so welcome and at home. Such nice staff! There is a swimming pool, and spa on the 5th floor and prices are very reasonable. The breakfasts were fab, with fresh nicely cooked eggs unlike many hotels which mass cook cold eggs. and they had a good selection of fresh fruit and local Thai dishes. Management and service spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Fantastic value for money.

Very high level of service and cleanliness in this hotel. Very large suites with separate bedrooms, a whole kitchen, little laundry with washer/dryer combo. Pretty gardens out the front with a gorgeous resident kitty make this an excellent place to stay. The buffet breakfast is amazing! So much variety and beautiful, tasty food. The staff are a delight, especially SIN the doorman. He's very kind and friendly.

Excellent spacious rooms with all amenities! A big plus is the presence of a washing machine and available powder! The staff is attentive and responds instantly to your requests! The location is great, there are many delicious cafes around with real Thai food!

We spent 2 weeks here. Great breakfast, beautiful pool, everywhere at most is a very cheap grab taxi ride away, but the best part of our stay were the beautiful helpful staff, especially Sim and Jit (gave us heaps of helpful tips) Opal who sits by the restaurant and arranges tour's is one of the most kindest caring humans I've ever met. I got sick on a tour and he really looked after me. My partner is a smoker so we stayed on the smokers floor. The room was fully self contained with everything we needed and a great view. The only negative is if you want a Chromecast you need to go on a waitlist and my partner did not like how firm the mattress was. I loved it.

We arrived very late (around midnight on the 20th of Feb 2022) without any reservation but the night receptionist (named khun Tak or something?) and night guard were extremely welcoming, offering us quickly an excellent room. We were very tired from a long day travelling on the road but we immediately felt taken care of. Great service and what amazingly spacious rooms. 5 stars well deserved thanks to the great night shift team!

Great stay, second time I’ve been here in conjunction with destination beauty. They’re very organised, rooms are large and open and cleaned daily. The hotel staff treat you like royalty. The biggest breakfast is yummy and everyone is so friendly. If you ask for anything, they attend to it straight away. Will definitely always stay here when I am in Bangkok :)

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could, we were treated like animals from the moment we arrived . It is advertised as an SHA+ Hotel, but its an apartment block that isn't equipped to quarantine travellers .We were denied our request fof food sfter s very long flight and taxi ride from the airport they expected me and my young son to wait 6 hours in our room without food and this would of happened if the ignorant young man on check-in had his way The following day I went to the small onsite gym and the you nan working there told md to put a mask on while training ,I explained to him that this is more dangerous than any virus and that hd was potentially doing people harm , but he just looked at my dumbfounded and pointed to the mask sign I was planning on staying here a while ,I'm checking out on the 3rd day and moving somewhere else

WOW, WOW, WOW !!!! I absolutely love it here. I can't imagine why anyone would write a bad review for Somerset. Efficient, polite staff, room equipped with everything anyone would ever need & more, to my surprise i even found washing powder, of course with a washing machine. After staying here for a week (out of 3 weeks), I hate the idea of going back home to Australia. Cleaning staff, reception staff, kitchen staff, door guys, taxi's, etc are all pleasant & at your every beg & call at all times. No offence to Australian ripp off service providers, Thai service is far more advanced & much, much more truly caring. A Big Thank You to all at SOMERSET. P.S. Being here has even improved my mental health after being exposed to so called 'services' of Australia, LOL Really.

Stayed in an ironically named premier one-bedroom. If you were staying short term during which you'd be out most of the time, then the suite is clean and comfortable enough. For longer stays, you'd be constantly asking them to fix things, which may or may not work. The major appliances: fridge, washing machine, esp the dryer, air-conditioners... made strange loud noises if they worked. Terrible TV reception. Some stations were louder than others. Pots and pans were scratched and dusty. Obviously, the place is running down but it seems no one bothers to check on the wear and tear, or they have very low maintenance standards. Two stars: one for the relatively cheap price for a good sized suite. One for the relative quietness in a noise polluted city. Premier, it is definitely not!
