I am a huge fan of murals. I chase them everywhere I go. Today, I was strolling around Barcelona when I came upon this amazing galleria filled only with mural artists. The lady that welcomed me was very friendly and knowledgeable about Barcelona mural artists. As a matter of fact, she's one of them and does wonderful work. Her name is Ivana Flores. She paints these innocent little girls surrounded by cute animals and eyes (?) She was kind enough to allow me to stroll through studio down below. Anyway, I loved the gallery and highly recommend you visit it next time you visit Barcelona. Maybe you can afford to buy one of these exciting works. Too many great paintings to show here. The gallery is a must add to any trip to Barcelona. I spent over an hour talking to the owner who spent time with me answering questions and just chopping it up. I visited the gallery several time…whenever I’m in BCN. The gallery has now been expanded to include a second large exhibition room, there is so much to discover. Robert, the owner, takes an incredible amount of time and it was an awesome pleasure to spend time there. My work of art by Konair was packed so perfectly that I was able to take the flight home to Germany with it easily. And it’s amazing when you are walking through the streets, you will find a piece of his art on every corner. If you're looking for really cool street art, you've come to the right place. The basement doubles as a studio for the artists that he showcases. The day we went he had an lovely lady named Ivana Flores, and she had some really amazing art work. I actually got to watch her work on one of her pieces. After talking with her we decided to purchase a nice piece of hers.. She was nice enough to stop in the middle of painting to chat with us about her work. After we made our purchase she took pictures with us. What a one of a kind experience! Plus the Robert pulled up a few chairs and just talked to us in the middle of the gallery.I felt like a made a new friend. If your ever in their area, you must stop bye and see what’s going on that day. You never know who will be there painting the next master piece of our time, plus you won’t regret it...

A very diverse selection plus a few of the artists were on location to talk about their work. We went here on a TripAdvisor tour and had a blast! The owner was extremely friendly and spent a fair amount of time just chitchatting with us.

The owner, Robert, was just so helpful, patient and attentive. He showed me all around the store, had stories for me and just made this more of an overall experience for me. Check this place out if you love street art. He has art from a lot of the local artists you see all over the walls of Barcelona. Definite worth going to, even if just to say hi to Robert!

Visited Base Elements after taking a tour of street art in Barcelona and was pleased to be met by the superbly approachable and helpful owner of the gallery, Robert. Base Elements represents El Pez and Francisco de Pájaro (among others) and whilst I was there Francisco was signing and illustrating in his books. Ended up buying a piece to take back to London and am happy with my purchase! Thank you, Robert!

The owner (Robert) is really helpful and you can both empty your bank account with some great high-end stuff or get away with something not that expensive. It offers really good opportunities. The basement itself is also really cool and you can really sense that a lot of "soul" has been put into the place.

We stumbled upon this Gem, Base Elements, perusing the streets of Barcelona on a Fun Night Out. Robert, the owner of the Gallery, was so inviting and entertaining! The Hospitality here is so welcoming and genuine. They have the many very talented artists featured here, some of which we even got to meet. Awesome Art Work, there were so many pieces I wanted to buy! We love this place, so stop in for a quick visit, it’s a must if your visiting Barcelona Spain!

I only had one day to tour Barcelona, and in researching chose Base Elements as one of the few locations to go—and am very glad that I did. Robert's an incredibly friendly and knowledgable host. He's created an artistically potent gallery that not only displays the work but the working spaces of local artists. Be sure and see the downstairs, complete with an artistic rendering of materials foraged from the streets—an "urban altar" that captures Barcelona itself. I very much look forward to a return visit in the future.

We took a group of 16 year 8 students who are currently studying a Graffiti project in school. The students loved it! A really lovely space with a range of Urban Art including some installation work. Robert guided the group round the gallery and discussed the elements of the art, inspirations behind the work & information on the artist. Robert also discussed how the gallery supports local artists in providing a gallery space but also how the artists working day can be structured. We also went on a guided street tour where students used the interactive app. A very thought provoking and stimulating environment for young people. Would highly recommend.
