👍👍 We arrived by car, parked at the wharf and shopped in the little store there. We then walked to head of canal before coming back. This part of the canal is not used, except for some residents, and is beautifully clear. Well worth a visit. People often mention shop,

Lady at centre so kind & helpful. Answered all our questions about the Ashby Canal in general & also the heroic efforts by volunteers to restore the last few miles. The shop had all sorts of items, some new & lovingly made in order to help with fund-raising. A very uplifting experience & very interesting. Glad we got to the end and a lovely peaceful mooring too. Water & rubbish disposal available!

This is a great little junk shop that we always look forward to having a rummage in , and we usually come away with a few bargains. The staff are helpful and friendly and the ice cream is very delicious! All good!

It was great to find this shop and information centre. The volunteers are doing a fantastic job restoring this historic canal, and very kindly shared their local knowledge. We picked up some useful things from the shop too!

Canalside wharf shop run by volunteers, local farm ice cream (difficult to resist!), Doug Egbert coffee, tea and chocolate hot drinks, cold canned drinks, some where to sit and watch the world go by. Just lovely.

Pleasant area and a cute shop selling hot drinks and local products. This made a relaxing rest stop after walking along the canal.
