Lovely pub, love the decor 😍 Friendly staff, food freash, and very nice....

Been to our favourite place for food. Food is fantastic, great friendly staff. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Big portions, great prices. smaller plates available and just as filling. Cheesecakes are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

Had a wonderful time, food was brilliant and well worth my hard earned. Other than some 15 or so rude customers who arrived with no warning, and were purposefully snide towards the staff, who dealt with the situation very well as they couldn’t fit all 15 in for food. A 10/10 will definitely visit again, very homely and welcome with excellent customer service even against these rude people!! Well done the old mill you have a brilliant attitude a must visit if in the area.👍

Was passing and thought we would give it a try, having never been before. What a great meal. The wife had the fish pie. She gave this 10 out of 10. I had the roast beef dinner. Again 10 out of 10. And the service was just as good as the food. Excellent all round.

Nice old pub, good choice of beer/ lager. Good food menu, which was really good. Had a quiz night tonight which is always good but couldn't stay too join.

Very quirky pub in the Old Mill. Large free car park. Nice decor relaxing place for a drink. Good quality and selection of hand-pulled real ales. Friendly welcoming staff, nice quality home cooked food, a very popular Pub.

Popped in today for a meal after a long drive we decided to have food so I had the Hunters chicken and the Mrs had the Sicilian Lasagna with Chips both were delicious and filling, highly recommended the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed I wish we had a place like this around our ends we would definitely visit if we are around here again.

Can’t review the food because we were told we couldn’t order food because the chef would have to peel potatoes (even though the matchstick fries in the Gyro are most definitely frozen) and they were too busy with bookings that weren’t arriving for another 2+ hours. I most certainly can review the horrendous attitude on the blonde manageress, openly slating our group across the bar for daring to ask to order food. Then continuing to display her horrendous attitude online when responding to a (very fair) review. There was no atmosphere to speak of as, apart from two couples inside on our arrival, we were the only ones there. Save yourself the hostility, much better places to spend your money (and that actually serve food) in Barton.

Following a nice Sunday 10k run met friends for a drink and a meal. Polite efficient staff, great service. The large plate beef I had was melt in your mouth. Friends had the beef platter ample food, very tasty, nice beer

They were very helpful with regards my gluten free queries, the food was good, but the wait for it was fooorrrevverrr. Glad it came when it did otherwise we would of had to cancel it. Staff were very pleasant. Tables were very clean.

Popped in on Sunday afternoon, we hadn’t booked a table but the waitress was quick to find us somewhere to sit. Food was amazing, beef just fell apart, 10/10 thank you ☺️

Great service, lively food anx atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. Second time here, took my best friends and my mum and step dad. We had a really nice afternoon. Deffinately recommend, as they cater for vegetarians and the menus changes weekly.

Called in yesterday when car was in the garage, sat in front of the lovely open fire had a huge portion of scampi and home made chips was fantastic. Lovely warm welcome, cosy festive atmosphere.

A warm and cosy pub with a roaring log fire and we could fetch our dog inside which was great. The food portions were generous and delicious whilst being fairly priced. Looking forward to returning!

We had a Sunday roast. Lots of Aberdeen black beef on the plate. Lovely bar and restaurant. Wood burner fire kept us nice and warm. Bar staff very friendly and nice relaxing atmosphere. Will come again.

Good place to drink, good selection, and a decent atmosphere. Only complaint is that some of the outside seating looks a little delapidated, and the narrow profile of the interior can make it difficult to walk through the place on busy times.

Sat outside The Old Mill with my dog and had a couple of lagers. Nice outdoor area. The Mill is on an incline, plenty of surrounding trees. Very relaxing and had a chat with a member of staff and a roofer from Nottingham who was repairing The Old Mills roof! Nice place to sit and watch life passing by😊
