The pub looks good after having an extension to the building which has bought it up to date. I always liked this pub when I was often there during the 70's. The extension includes a good sized restaurant which was not open when I was there. I enjoyed a good pint sat in the west facing grassed over beer garden. Very nice hidden away village pub in the heart of South Ferriby.

Love this place! Me and my boyfriend come every so often and we both love the selection and how amazing the food is. Really reasonable price too. Waitress tonight was so lovely and polite. Will definitely keep coming back here 😁

Lovely meal out with family on a Wednesday evening. The chips are incredible, it's worth the drive just for the chips! Everything else lovely too. Glad we booked a table as it was very busy. A good sign for a weekday night. It was quiz night too which is clearly very popular

We have just had a great stay here well worth a visit. The rooms, food & beer are great value, The rooms are super clean and comfy, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. We had a meal in the bar & it was great, and the chips !! Wow the chips We will definitely be stopping again 👍

A gem of a place. We stayed in our motorhome after finding this in Brit Stops. Very welcoming from the minute i rang to book to the minute we left. Lovely food at VERY good prices. We rang friends to ask if they will come next time as we think they will love it too. We will definitely be back. Thank you for welcoming us x

Friendly and welcoming village pub serving good food with generous portions. On the third Wednesday of the month there is a traditional folk music session, mainly Irish when we were there - bring your fiddle/squeeze box. We stayed overnight in the car park in a motorhome - free if you buy a meal (book in advance). South Ferriby is a lovely unspoilt village with a strong community feel with a nice circular walk overlooking the Humber.

Fab evening here as a pubstopover in van. Staff friendly and helpful as I couldn't make last orders for food so rang ahead with my food order and it was ready waiting when I arrived. Really appreciated that after a very long drive. Sat out in the garden until closing.

Absolutely beautiful place georgious decorating ever thing was absolutely brilliant except the food extremely disappointing. Burnt Yorkshire puddings. Possibly bought in ready prepared vegetables. Stringy beef.

Staff were amazing and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food was great and the rooms were great value for money, clean and well finished. Will definitely be booking again if were in the area.

Great food (especially the chips-thanks to the great boss lady chef Vicky), room was very clean and tidy, complementary breakfast that got put outside of the door ready for when you get up in the morning. Shower pressure in the room I was in was brilliant. Anne-Marie, Lucy, Sharon, Jake and Gavin were all excellent. The service they provided was amazing. Couldn’t get better staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Called in for a meal with the wife . Good food . Spot on pie . Meal deal buy a pie and get a drink with it in the price . Unfortunately I was charged for the free beer . Other than good place to visit .

Very disappointing. We ordered the prawn wrap.. expecting prawns in a wrap, but instead the tiniest spring rolls, with a chilli dip and the salad consisting of only a lump of lettuce that I didn't eat as looked awful. I didn't taste any prawns, just the batter from the roll. Thank goodness we had a bowl of chips. Also, a couple came in with a dog that did not stop panting with the heat. Very off putting.

A lovely village pub with good rooms, good beer and friendly staff. Breakfast choice is very limited and served on a tray to your room. The food in the evening restaurant was very good. No evening service on Monday.

Best pub in our area. Always friendly, brews his own brilliant beer. Food is great and reasonably priced. Has definitely got the fundamental right for what a proper pub should be! Definitely not a youth club!!!

Absolutely can't go wrong. Beautifully decorated with consistently good food every time (we come here often and we ALWAYS leave full and happy). Reasonable prices for a plate of proper food. Also highly recommend Gav's beers! Definitely a top notch venue for those over 18 (or accompanied by an adult) 😂

A lovely warm setting with a genuinely lovely team of staff. There is now a great range of locally brewed ales, the red is a great session ale too. I have on good authority the food is worth a bite or two.

Everything about the Nelthorpe Arms exceeded my expectations. The room was perfect, large with big bathroom, very quiet and spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was great. Can't wait to stay there again. The only thing that could have been better was the weather!! Everything else was perfect. I was there for a family funeral and travelling alone and everyone was so friendly and made the trip easier. I would highly recommend the Nelthorpe Arms to anyone, it is a real gem in the countyside A+++

We stayed the night at the hotel and ate in the restaurant. The food was top notch, big portions and lovely staff. The room was recently refurbished with new carpets. The only thing was the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Loved my time here. The staff and people are so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The food was unreal. Chunky homemade chips with every meal. Tasty pint also. All at fair prices. I hope your work in the area again this summer.
