Mardin Tarihi Emir Hamamı

Tourist attraction

👍👍 Didn’t know what to expect as it was my first hamam. Very friendly staff. Showed me what to do although they spoke virtually no English. 50 liras which I believe is cheap. Fully scrub, soap, and brief massage. Sauna was nice but didn’t get very hot. Whole experience was about one hour but could have... People often mention experience,

Didn’t know what to expect as it was my first hamam. Very friendly staff. Showed me what to do although they spoke virtually no English. 50 liras which I believe is cheap. Fully scrub, soap, and brief massage. Sauna was nice but didn’t get very hot. Whole experience was about one hour but could have stayed longer and used the sauna and hung out if I wanted. Place looked authentic and traditional. Recommend!

If you're a person who enjoys shared saunas, it's worth a visit. It's nice, but very basic. Previous posts said it was 50TL, for an obvious foreigner like me it was 100. That included a peeling & a massage, which were both very short & basic. Nice to experience this part of life here, but don't go in expecting anything luxurious.

I don’t recommend for foreign women at least. The woman there tried to charge us 250TL for what my husband paid 110TL (same place, same day). Of course we didn’t have that much money so they gave us a very short scrub (while men get scrub + massage + juice). For women at least, It’s a scam.

They have no sanitation, there is better historical hammams. Massage was not massage. That was bad experience. I don't recommend.

Its an very old traditional hammam. They are not too harsh on tourist for scrubbing and it costed 80 Liras plus 20 Liras tip which they expect. Do not expect a luxurious treatment here as local people also come there on regular basis. Overall it was a new experience.

One real nice place with friendly persons inside. Is a family place, you can visit and you can spent a few hours in this hamam. Clear, friendly and atractive.

Very cool experience. If you’re looking for a couples’ Hamam- come here! It is hot hot hot in here - so be ready. Drink lots of water before, and don’t drink the night before!

This is the best turkish bath in turkey, the people there is so kind and friendly, the one who do the scrub is very professional and know his job. The prices are so cute, I have been there for each evening, it is also very clean and the services are so good. I can’t wait to go there again. Best luck for you guys. I totally recommend this bath…. For 100 stars ⭐️

Good hammam experience, but a ripoff for foreigners. The lady's running the place double or even triple the price.

I asked the quote in Turkish which at first was 150 and then they discussed something in Arabic or Kurdish and bumped the price up to 250. There is an obvious difference in price for locals/foreigners. Didn't go as I don't like being ripped off.
