Soups are their expertise. The curry fish head is good to go with the rice. Otherwise, just enjoying the soups without the rice are recommended too.

Just like the ban jian kueh... In Batu Pahat, mention soup and most likely you'll be directed to Swee Kee. As a soup lover myself, nothing beats drinking a bowl of soup while having my meal. Of course I'm OK to eat my meal without soup, but with its definitely better with soup. Operation hour is a bit odd as they close around 7.30pm, so if you're planning for dinner... Must make it early. Their forte is definitely their soup which is packed with flavours and goodness, and I did not feel thirsty afterwards. ◾Tonic soup - do check with them on available soups. Mine is herbal chicken soup ◾Curry fish head - curry sauce was creamy and aromatic.. and if I didn't mind my bulging waistline, I'd have asked for another bowl of rice to douse with the sauce. Fresh fish head too ◾stir fried bittergourd with egg - ◾Yam rice - did I say that yam rice is a thing in this town? I did... And this restaurant serves yam rice on top of regular white rice as well. They have since opened another branch near Restaurant SY. I haven't gone to their branch at the point of writing, but for comforting stuff (I call it food for soul).. this is another restaurant not to be missed while you're in Batu Pahat, more so when you love soups.

The most delicious soup in town! Staffs were fiendly and professional, even the boss himself serves too! Not too crowded during 630pm.

Specialty on herbal soup served in small individual portion. Nicely done with balanced Herbal not overpowering the meat. Yam rice soft and pairs nicely with the soup. Also have other side dishes like braised pork knuckle, sweet potato leaf etc.

Only left soup and yam rice during my visit. Both tasted very nice nevertheless.

Shock to see the soup is so small bowl. Soup taste a bit like bak kut teh soup, the curry vegetables may be local taste. The taste is not like what is in KL. You taste, you wow.

Was so hungry that i started eating before taking the photo. My second visit to this place. Totally awesome chinese food served here. Restaurant quality at hawker price. Must try the duck and black chicken herbal soup if you visit this place.

Five of us went there around 7.30pm on Monday. Ordered a few dishes including curry fish, veggie, onion eggs with a bowl of soup each. I had tried the kampung chicken soup 甘榜鸡汤 and pork ribs soup 排骨汤. Both of them taste really delicious. You can taste the clear soup with a lot of flavours inside. The chicken meat is so tender. I personally really enjoy the curry fish as well! I can’t really take spicy foods but I just can’t stop myself drizzling the sauce and eat with my rice! The egg and veggie dishes are quite normal. Nothing impressive. And the yam rice 芋头饭 was sold out during that time. Next time will definitely come back again to try other soups.

Good fast service. Had the curry red snapper, garlic fried tapioca leaves, herbal chicken soup and the turtle soup. The fried tapioca leaves was nicely fried not overcooked. The curry was delicious, fish was very fresh, and we'll balanced with ladies fingers and fried toufu. Instead of white rice, had the yam rice which paired nicely with the curry. The soup were very tasty with good amount of meat.

Pork rib soup and chicken curry were delicious and reasonably priced. The bitter gourd and egg was just ok.

Very good shui yee...other are okay and curry fish is 6\10...but overall good lunch. The Yam rice is pretty good.

Although the food look simple, but they are very tasty. The soups are the main attractions, they have only one kind of soup, then we need to order basing on the meat. We ordered side dishes which include the curry fish head. Surprisingly the curry fish head is very fresh and good.

Black bone chicken soup and yam rice were good. The richness of the soup and its aroma amazed me. Especially good if waten along with the yam rice. 4 stars

the soups were super good, very herbally if you like those kinds of soups. bowls are a little small, but the prices are fair. The yam rice is a must try, super fragrant and flavourful. Potato leaf and curry fish were also ordered. All dishes were good and overall worth the visit!!

Very nice curry fish head. The fish is fresh , curry not spicy at all if u dare not take spicy sauce

Went at 5pm but braised pork and sweet potato leaves were sold out. Soup was a very small portion for Rm11. Expensive given that it tasted like normal soup and not herbal tonic soup. Curry fish head was good but at Rm38 was rather pricey as it was just half a small size fish head. Yam rice mediocre.

Pleasant. Solid soup, which they fsmous for. Braised pork knuckle above average, as was the yam rice. Due to their reputation, i was expecting more.
